Start by spinning the poi in split-time same direction in wall plane. Now allow the poi tethers to cross at an angle, crossing at the midpoint of their tethers.
Now turn 90 degrees, allowing both poi to pass in between the arms in buzzsaw plane. After each poi head has passed in between your arms, turn completely to the other side of your body and the poi should automatically uncross provided both of the heads escape the loop in between your arms. This type of poi move is referred to as a tangle.

Re: "they just untangle automatically"... The tip about turning completely really helped with untangling, but I also notice that if the poi complete an odd number (3 or 5) of buzzsaw plane rotations, they untangle, and if it's an even number (say 2 or 4), they do not.
Good idea with the camera on Your head. It helps a bit to get used to the move little faster, knowing how it looks from performer's point of view. keep up a good work :-)

DrexFactor Poi . im really struggling to get handwraps . with single loop handles and with contact poi with knobs its totally different and difficult to learn
same for me, i can do complex tech moves but still absolutely struggle with hand wraps, i just can't get my head around it so very difficult to get my arms to comply :\

Watching the POV stuff, I had never noticed how similar the entry into this is to an air wrap -- if I am using "air wrap" correctly. Going outside now to play with that, see if it helps clean my tangles up a bit.
You are indeed! The entry is *exactly* the same! The only difference is what you do with it after entering the trick!
Well, thinking of them as starting with an air wrap made them worse. Een though they sort of do, I'm not thinking of them thatway any more!
