How he went around both sides of that tire at the beginning with a hand knife, and didn't puncture the inner layer - is simply amazing skill.
It’s because it’s one they’ve obviously repaired before and the tread’s barely attached. You can see it’s semi-bonded for half an inch around the edge at the most. 😂

Was thinking the same thing seeing this just goes to show how good life is and how fortunate those of us in the developed world are. I'm an American and most of those in my country are under the misguided idea that the rest of the world lives like we do. They have no idea how hard life is for the average person in many countries.

Not a lot of room for errors, the casing is junk, the "Tread" is junk, Impossible to achieve Chemical vulcanization, that's needed for strength, Ignore the Dirt on all surfaces and no safety concerns, Poof you "retread" a tire. I have seen a few videos of this procedure using Semi Truck tire casings, and that can't work because of how the casings are made. but labor and life is cheap there the haves hire it done at any cost and have nots who do the work pay with their lives or injury's. there is no structure in that repair just a way to hold air. Dangerous.
The tread is brand new, look at the spikes near end of video. Very confusing, though, no heat applied vulcanisation as u say.
And in that country I bet nobody is keeping tabs on tire blowout related deaths and how many were retreaded tires! The immense forces these tires undergo is staggering I agree this is dangerous!

These boys are happy to have jobs and work hard. The tire appears to be for a tractor and while it is far from “new”, it will probably do the job for very little money. People in the third world from my experience make do with what they can cobble together and manage to get by. It’s difficult for us to grasp this without actually being there.
They are surprisingly clean for the job they must do every day.
Oh my word, that old guy has amazing skill to be able to take that whole tread off in one perfect go and leave it perfectly smooth. Brilliant 👏👏

Another example of what some people can do without much help from modern technology and no safety equipment. They refurbish what we would call Junk and make the item live to see another round of important work to keep the circle of life going round and round. I salute these guys for being such fine craftsmen~!!! 👍💪🙏

I've seen these videos where they're casting things in a hole in the ground or using a broken crankshaft as a ram instead of a hydraulic press. But worst of all is how many metal shops use angle grinders without guards on them. One of those comes apart and the plastic eyewear won't help you.

the blue shirt guy is clearly new in the field, and it is just really good to see that the experienced person is teaching him the ropes. you see the initiative when he see the new guy struggling on something he not direct him and yell but shows him how to do it.

These are not the guys stealing American jobs, These guys help out the farmers around their community, who without them, would have to buy new tires ( which they can't afford) I doubt these guys are getting rich by any means.

Первая была лысая, у второй скорее всего было боковое повреждение, в результате которого дальнейшая эксплуатация не возможна.

Total respect. It is so nice to feel humbled by people who lucky for us, do their jobs with pride. Here in the West we stand to loose
any and all traces of that past. Technology is the worst, it does not change with our need for it, we always loose so many skilled
due to automation and jet we have no real understanding of it.

I too lost my airbrushing skills that took 4 years to hone, to Photoshop and similar apps. I watched as Typesetters also lost their
ability to work more. Some call it progress, yet for some it´s a society that won´t bend.
That was a lot of work and three men put time into it. In the U.S., a standard farm tractor rear retread runs from about 70-120 bucks. As stated, that takes time and manpower with materials. Too bad they probably don't make much money on it. These are good hard-working guys and I wish them all the best.

в советском союзе в колхозах всегда так делали. снимали у хорошей покрышки с боковым порезом протектор. и перекидывали. наварка.

@@user-ov9cj5uv8k в союзе не было проблем с шинами, никто такого не делал. Да, латали но вот так никто не делал. При совке заводов по производству шин было валом а в пакистане только вот такие мини мастерские которые себя почему-то заводами называют.
А наварка даже сейчас есть, срезается верхний слой и наваривается новый слой с протектором, но вот так как на видео никто кроме как в пакистане и других нищих стран не делает,

That rubber in the sheets is called Butyl Rubber, it is natural rubber that in inner casing is made of, it is sticky but adds no strength, that tire is unsafe at any speed

The difference is that in developed nations it is done in clean, environmentally controlled factories that are safe for their workers. When it comes to ecology and the environment Pakistan looks the other way. There is a reason why it is one of the worst polluters per capita in the world. As for worker safety, this video speaks for itself.
