I’m learning to be more matter of fact but in love and in grace. Being super blunt or overly transparent can damage relationships. ❀❀❀

I'm an account manager for a local cleaning services and for me my experience with my new sales staff is getting them to handle hearing no from potential brand new. clients. How can I effectively get them past it. Because it's killing my turn over rate.

Handling rejection is a crucial skill for sales staff in any industry, including cleaning services.
1:) Normalize Rejection: Help them understand that rejection is a natural part of sales and happens to everyone. Share your own experiences with rejection to show them it's not personal or uncommon.
2:) Provide Constructive Feedback: After each rejection, provide specific feedback on what they did well and areas for improvement.
3:) Focus on the Process, Not Just the Outcome: Emphasize that success in sales comes from consistent effort and improvement over time. Encourage them to focus on solving the client's problem by emphasizing the importance of listening skills rather than solely on closing sales.
4:) Set Realistic Goals: Break down sales goals into smaller, achievable targets. Celebrate small wins along the way to keep morale high, even when facing rejections.
I can go on and on...sales and training are my passion. I hope this helps reduce turnover and overall performance!

If they can't handle hearing "no", let them go. There might be bigger problems there with maturity. This is at least an orange if not red flag.
Maybe assign them a sales book or sales training video or program about it... but if you offer them 3 different trainings and they still don't get it, then their attitude risks your business. Not worth a risk that big.
Not being able to handle hearing "no" is a relational issue that might point to narcissism. You don't need those on your team.

I can't imagine you have ever had an issue getting people to listen to you. I have trouble getting my children to listen to me. 😂

I used to be very quiet and shy, but over time, I've built my confidence. Now, people can't get me to shut up! Children listen to actions, trust me, they hear you.

How long did it take you to find the friends you always wanted 😊

As an adult in a new city, it took about ten years to develop quality friendships with shared values, trust, and mutual respect. We met through shared hobbies, work, or social activities. It's not just about finding people who are fun to be around, but also those who support you during challenging times and celebrate your successes. One of my great friends, Elisha commented on this video @kustomkreations4u. The support is priceless.
