You not recording people while they are working out already shows that you are more decent than most CZcamsrs
People keep asking me to do night life videos in Bangkok and I keep saying no out of the respect for the girls and even the guys out on holiday… it’s a fine line to cross and I’m trying to stay on the ryt side of it 🙏 I appreciate my own privacy so try do the same for others as much as I can
Why is filming someone studying different than someone working out
@@WeiFinder because they are sweating 🥵its hard to breath they are all exhausted and you want to put a camera in their face
@@eyfbiopenup2174 so sweating and breathing hard is somehow shameful?
Getting filmed doesn't take any effort. And of course you wouldn't shove a camera in their face (like anything else) you'd film for a reasonable distance for a reasonable (short) amount of time
@@ProjectBangkok Well said! I think it's terrible that certain vloggers are filming people without their consent while invading their privacy. Do you know if the Ashton Asoke rent condos by the week as opposed to monthly rentals?
This was a great tour. Ashton should pay you for this, because you really make it look great. Your points about the transit access and the additional life experience about where to hang out at what time of day (due to temperature) are great.
The staff actually asked me to stop filming because they were worried about the privacy of other residence. Completely fair request as well so tried my best. Other condos never said anything haha
A beautiful building, living in Nakhon Sawan in a mostly peaceful village. Been in Thailand for 22 years and from Boulder, Colorado, U.S.
Thanks a lot David i'm glad you enjoyed the video
just booked a room in this condo through airbnb for 3 weeks. super excited!
Oh sweet! You will love it here! Prime location for your trip
@@ProjectBangkok paste me the link of the Airbnb so that I can book
@Jepi369 I never once mentioned Airbnb
Just simply amazing!!! Stunning in every single way and more than enough for a single or even a couple. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Judy! I don't think the video does the condo it self any justice but I hope it gives an idea of the lifestyle that can be had from living in this location :)
Excellent Video - This is something I would rent as an Expat - You pay a little bit more to get so much more.Great Location and Upscale Condo Complex . If this was in Downtown San Diego , LA or San Francisco You would pay $2000 or more. In 1992 to 96 I lived in Downtown San Diego in new Complex overlooking the Harbor with sunset views. Paid $600/month. A large Studio about 600 sqf - now it rents for $2000 or more........
Yes, exactly. There are a few trade offs living here I must admit but the pros defiantly outweigh the cons
Thanks for sharing! And a BIG thank you for including the price in Thai Bath! Because most channels with similar videos forget that USD is totally irrelevant and almost useless for us not coming from the USA.
And BTW. 22.000 THB is a very good price for the level of standard and premium area you live in. 😊
No problem at all.. I’m from the UK so don’t use US either haha but I know my audience is mostly from the US I tend to keep things close to there currency. I got another condo tour coming next week as well so stay tuned for that 👌🏻
@@ProjectBangkok I know most viewers are from the USA. I don't mind that fact or that people use USD to explain the price as long as they also add the Thai price like you do.
Looking forward to the new condo tour!
This is much nicer than most I’ve seen.
My favorote tour so far, and ive watched many
Great price for this building. Now they offer 25.000 Baht for a similar unite. Great location, if you like to be in the middle of BKK! Good video. Thank you for sharing!
Yeah I think the prices will slowly creep up as he year goes on and everything opens.. also likely will go up when I renew my contract 🙈
I had to like your video the moment you mentioned I aint gonna take a pcr test just to be able to have a drink! Great condo video!!!!
Now, you can't find in that range in the said condo. It's now between THB28,000 - THB30,000 for 35 sq. mt. and upto THB50,000 for a 2 room unit... but I like the facilities and close to the MRT station 👍🏻
Iv not looked at the prices to be honest but I’m not surprised if they go up for such a prime location
Lmaooo i smoked a bowl outside of ur apt when i was there w my gf visiting her parents. Looked like a cool spot and interesting to see how it is
Haha loved this comment it made me smile 😀 yeah Ashton is a prime location.. I miss how easy it was to get around I’m not going to lie
Wow! so generous for sacrificing all those 9 floors for parking.👏👏👏
Yeah I thought that same thing.. over 700 parking spaces.. it’s 50 floors in total
Strong production. Succinct and helpful. Questions: how's the Internet connection? Are there provider options or packages? Also, can you speak on the quality of the materials in the rooms? I've been browsing reviews and these were some common concerns. Figure you have a decent pulse on things now that you've stayed for an extended period of time. Appreciate it greatly.
Fixtures and fitting in Ashton are overall decent compared to other condos of that price. The building only supports True fibre but they have insane speeds so not to worry there.. nearly 1Gbps download constantly.
@@ProjectBangkok Subscribed. Keep up the solid content 👏
I just went to a great hotel in Asoke and I will most probably stay in BBK for a couple of weeks. This video is very informative and the Ashton Asoke is shortlisted already :) Any information about short-term (1-3 month) stays?
Airbnb would be the best way to rent for that time in this building
@@ProjectBangkok thanks!
Just found your channel I think you should tell all this other CZcamsrs where you get the music for your videos
Wonderful content keep it up
Most are using the same as me to be honest. EpidemicSounds
Great video - looking to be moving to Bangkok this December! This looks good
I bet your counting down the days! Im hoping to do more condo tours on the channel... Hopefully can collab with an agent here in Bangkok soon
A most excellent video that was well worth my time to watch.
Thanks a lot rico... I have another condo video coming out this wednesday! I hope you can catch it
What a massive city.
The scale of this place is unreal
Thank you for the English subtitles. Really appreciate it.
I will try add these to all videos in future
do they require 12 month contract? or can I do monthly or quarterly?
Love this one . This one sit right next to Terminal 21 mall where the magic food court at.
Wow my new favourite condo thx for the info!
Your welcome.. I might even move back there some day because of the location benefits
Great video, looks amazing. From a more recent video I understand that you have moved away from Asoke. For my first year in Thailand this would be right up my street 😁
Amazing ! Thank you for sharing …am relocating in august from Uk , have been offered a job in a British international school … just wondering if if prices will be as going in august ? Can’t believe how beautiful the apartments are …
I would expect the prices to be about the same to be honest., tourism here is a long long way off what it used to be so plenty of amazing deals to be had
@@ProjectBangkok thank you so much ! 😎can’t wait !
Bro this video is so helpful thank you.
Glad it helped
Thanks bro, I’m gonna check this place out.
Your welcome 🙏
Thanks for a good and informative video. I'm looking at getting an apartment there from September on a one-year contract. I visited Bangkok in April and had the agent in the lobby show me one of the condos. The Ashton Asoke is definitely a nice place and absolutely "luxury" in that price range - regardless of various people's definitions of luxury.
Related to this I have a couple of question where you may be able to help me. I have a girlfriend working at one of the nearby restaurants (upper scale), and her current flat is around Soi 81 (too far away from her work and not as nice). So, I would like to move her to Ashton.
The first question is about how to deal with setting up the rent because I'm just staying for 4 months myself, but I would like her to continue living there for the following months until I come back again later. So, that means I do not have a visa for the full year (only the 90 days Non-Imigrant O visa for this trip) - do you think that will cause issues setting up an agreement?
The other question is about whom to deal with getting an agreement - e there any significant differences between using the local building agent vs using one of the real estate agents listing these apartments?
Sorry for the late reply! For the most part the agents are the same.. they do look into paperwork a lot though from my experience.. I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem and something they could swing for you.. it is Thailand after all. I do direct bank transfer to my landlord so the payment comes out automatically. I got a Thai account though
@@ProjectBangkok Thanks 🙏 Maybe we'll meet in September - I'm going for a high-floor west-facing condo there. Following up on the ones presented on PropertyHub.
I like the glass desk area. Perfect for what I need
Thank you. Greetings from Canada.
Your welcome! and hellooo 😀
Muchas Gracias 🎉
Your very welcome
Is the pool open 24/7
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing... I was actually thinking about renting here.
Thanks for watching! Check out the area and see if you think its what you want
Spreading arms almost wall to wall and saying "there's loads space for me to do whatever I want" xD
Its the standard way of measuring things ;) I didnt have a cat to swing around in there so had to improvise
Great condo tour!
Question? How was the Move-in process from start to finish? Do you just schedule appointment with what you desire and move in same day? Is there security deposit on top of first month rent if your doing a month to month?
Iv not seen a month to month direct contract here. Your thinking more for Airbnb for that and will pay nearly double the price for the privilege as well.. 3, 6, 12 and 24 months are typical here but much less the 3 and 6 month unless the prices are completely jacked up. I think maybe your looking for an Airbnb for that kind of freedom. Moving in was easy.. just meet to sign contract.. pay 2 months deposit and hand over keys.. inspect room and take photos etc.. same as in the west. I got 12 month because I live here. All my condo advise and tours are for people to live here full time. Not holiday.. this is not a hotel
I thought your magic happened at your computer desk lmao
This comment started my day with a smile! Much love my friend! Appreciate you watching
You are welcome my friend by chance how much are the 2 bedroom 2 bath in your building? Qchitlom I want to do a years lease
Eli Stone 🙏🏾🇺🇸
thank you showing your condo and the price for it, very good to know
Your welcome Patrick :)
Very good price per month.
What else as a renter would I be expected to pay for, eg water, AC, car parking, swimming pool, gym?
Great video thank you 🙏
Thanks for watching! Usually you would be expected to pay for water, electric and internet on top of rent. Things like parking, pool and gym should always come with the condo as standard. Some condos here in the city have cinema rooms that can be rented out for a small fee for residents only as well
@@ProjectBangkok , moving to Thailand this year
Seems more like a swanky hotel! It's beautiful and for $665 you can't go wrong! (Unless you don't like heights).
It’s deffo a really nice place to be 👌🏻
The infinity pool on the top level at this place is just insane my mind was blown, you get 360 degree views. I’m staying on floor 21 and like my view out the windows and balcony as well. Only issue is can’t figure out how to get the sauna to click on but you can just walk outside 😅
I actually hate the pool because of how cold it is under the shade all day haha but I shouldn’t complain about such life problems 🤣
@@ProjectBangkok I know I noticed that too! Very frigid but the views are amazing. Yesterday I was trying to find the rooftop garden but couldn’t find it hehe 😆
There’s a couple Airbnb’s in this building .
I had to subscribe to your channel bro, I’ve been thinking of moving to Bangkok lately! 🎉
Thanks a lot… do it!! 😁
Great video and beautiful facility.
Is it quiet? The mention of Airbnb makes me wonder if there are sometimes parties.
And how good is the internet? Uptime, speed, estimated price? If good, this could be a digital Nomad paradise.
I find it super quite... oddly quite at time.. if i open the window i can hear bangkok.. but the isolation is so good i can sit in my room i silence at night its great
This video done makes me wanna exit the stress S, i mean the U S!
How many English guys in Bangkok vids have i been recommended today lol. I watched one by accident and suddenly i get 5 or 6!
We all got fed up with the UK and moved here haha
So what do I need to do to prepare myself to make a move from Chicago in the USA to Bangkok. That to me is really affordable to live in luxury compared to what you get for that price here in Chicago. I've always wanted to live in another country as well. I will just have to read up on what the laws are to be able to move there. Thanks for your videos.
Im from the UK myself so not sure how things are from the US.. My friend Serg from the channel Life with Serg might be able to help you more though as hes done just what you have explained and is now living here full time. Check his channel out
Terminal 21 is my favourite mall in Bangkok!
Thanks for the info
Your welcome Rick
Thanks mate, any holiday let? Will be in bangkok end of oct to nov
Holiday? I’m on holiday 365 days a year
Great video. Can you do one on the Millennium Residences in Asoke?
Do you think it is a good time right now to make a move to Bangkok when it comes to rent prices etc?
10000%!! Not only for the prices but how quite things are in some places.. it may never be like this again for the rest of our lives.. make the most of it if you get that chance
I'll happily kip on that sofa bed. Wake up to that amazing view, hell yeah!!
One day mate.. one day!
Omg! I like it, it is so amazing
I'm glad you like it
How long is your contract? Is a 1-2 month contract possible?
2 years. It’s all down to the landlord. Would have to communicate with them or the agent dealing with the property
@@ProjectBangkok thank you
Does the Ashton Asoke have a dry sauna or a steam sauna?
How do you manage to live there, what sort if visa mate?
I’m ok no magical visa that you don’t know about. You just need to find the visa that suites your needs and budget
Love this wide angle camera, what device are you using?
IPhone 13 Pro for all the shots 👍🏻
$665. A little less than I paid for a studio in Palo Alto in 1988.
On the upper level floors, is the air any purer? Do these buildings purify their air? Is the air conditioning adequate?
I saw you down by the river/water. I've never known a body of water that where there weren't bugs. How bad is it?
That’s a lot of questions haha but you got me in a good mood today so here we go..
Air is the same even at lvl 51..
aircon is too good! Air seems fresh and clean
Not many bugs to be honest.. just lizards lol
Meanwhile in Canada I pay 1100 for an old building tiny apartment with no luxuries lol canada sucks
Yeah its crazy ryt.. its a little warmer here than Canada I think.. Im just guessing haha
Mate thanks for the tour it was really professional… LOL was you an estate agent back home by any chance? I suppose I’ve just got one little criticism… I know it might be a pain in the arse but any chance to drop in in the £ cost not just USD & Baht…cheers
I was actually a tower crane operator in London for 7 years before coming here.. humble beginnings lol I can put £ in yes.. I l think I only have about 5% audience.. mostly US watching in CZcams so try to put USD first
@@ProjectBangkok
My mate is a crane operator… Good cheddar!!…. I’m guessing you’re like from northish London?… I see some CZcamsrs they put in a lot of currency AUSUSD BAHT..euro …UK… must be a pain in the arse to do that unless there’s a really easy way… Anyway mate I wish you all the best
It was a lot of money saved and invested for me to be out here.. sold everything I own and left everyone I know to start a new life.. hopefully all pans out.. I’ll tell my story a little more in a future video.. I’m no trust fund baby that’s for sure haha
@@ProjectBangkok
Sweet…Always interested in the backgrounds of people as well …get to know their story to get to know a CZcamsr…
TY. Very nice condo and excellent location. The miser in me dictates I'd choose the lower (floor & price) 16K thb/month condo.
You would still have one epic view from the lower floors to be honest
Nice video, thank you. I'm struggling to find a contact for the building leasing office. Could you point me in the right direction?
Sorry Eli that’s not something I would know. Maybe try some Facebook groups or google for that
I say this condo is budget /cheap per month compare to the Philippines which very expensive. I love this condo
Oh really? I always thought it was slightly cheaper there. Coming up to 6 months in this condo now and still love it
22k /month is not expensive in the prime location of Bangkok...cleaning & bills are included in your rent?
Are utilities and internet included in the price, or do you have to pay extra? Do you mind sharing how you rented the place out? Was it online, or did you go to/contact the condo office directly?
Really cool, I just subscribed. Question I got is why you always wear black in hot ass Thailand? lol I will check your past videos but I hope you do more condo videos :)
Haha my wardrobe is 100% black haha one less choice to make in a day to be honest :) now I got 1000 subs I’m going to start reaching out to agents about doing some more condos. I should have one going up in the next week though.. friends condo in Rama 9 👌🏻
@@ProjectBangkok Make a video about what camera gear you use and editing software as well. When you get the chance
Subbed ! Well done!
Thanks for the sub!
Hey what is ur budget there in Bangkok to get a idea about a budget per month
Well.. thats a hard one to answer.. I planned for $2000 per month but I spend over that... I dont know exactly what im spending at the moment
Great tours! Do more. LOL!
I have 5 at the moment but there are more to come
checked airbnb its like 50-60 K bhat pr month to live there on 3 month contract
It is indeed.. airbnb doesn’t do contracts though haha
@@ProjectBangkok looking for a nice place around 20 + k pr month where i can retreat too and feel safe for a possible trip for 3 months. its proving to be a difficult task, even 30 k i s on the table but so far no luck
I am guessing a more decently sized single bedroom apartment on the same floor would cost around 1000 dollars a month?
I guess.. would have to search online
Any condo reviews won soi 11 could be great. I don’t see anyone having done that
Yeah no worries bro. Breakfast when it’s ready
Thanks for the content man! How much do you think they can lower the price if I opt for a 1 year lease agreement?
Im already on a 1 year and they dont want to move on price. i tried to get a 2 year contract but they know that after the situation all the prices will go up
do u have to sign a 12 months lease to get it at that price? or can u just go month to month?
Usually a 12 month for that to be honest. Prices usually go up each year at well since I have arrived
thanks
Hey, this looks amazing, and tour is very well made! Is it possible to rent for a shorter term, month or two?
Thanks so much for the kind comments! I think condos here can be found in Airbnb for that period of time but will likely cost a lot more considering the prime location
@@ProjectBangkok thanks, I might book it for 2 weeks on Airbnb and once I'm there gonna try to figure out a better way 🙌
How does one book this place? I want to book it for 1-2 months and I am having trouble finding it.
Its on Airbnb.. would have to search in the sukhumvit, asoke area and check out the photos of the listings to find the exact condo though.. I know many people have booked there before.. even met one of my subscribers in the lift once haha
you're tempting me to move there for a year lol
Should really make it 2 Ryan haha treat yourself
Thank you
Your welcome 🤗
What kind of visa did you get to allow yourself to be able to stay long enough to sign a longer term lease?
Sorry Jimmy I would rather not disclose my visa information at the moment for a number of reasons.. maybe in a future video I will cover this though
So it's only $665 per month? What's the normal price over there for a two bedroom high-rise condo.
You will have to research yourself Leroy.. normal to one person could be completely different to another
Nice condo, moving to Bangkok in January for school. do you have any references for a few real estate agents?
To be honest your almost better off with search for the right condo in the building you want.. will find there’s about 20 agents all in the same building. Start with what area, then building.. then search for ideal room.. it’s a nightmare though trust me!
@@ProjectBangkok Thanks a lot, enjoy the journey.
How did you find this apartment? Do you just see a building you like and walkin and ask if they have any rentals?
Erm.. sometimes yes.. that can actually work well in some cases and Ashton does have an agent desk. You will find other agents will have other condos in the same building also so it’s a mine field of messing around. I just moved out from there a few weeks ago and had the same drama searching for condos myself AGAIN so going to put together a video about why and the best ways to search
@@ProjectBangkok Perfect that would be great as I am searching now , currently in hotel for another week here in Bangkok
Looking at theses videos. I’m like “why I’m I still living in westerns countries for” 😂 I’m paying $2000 for rent for something not as nice 😅😂
Get booking a one way ticket 👌 😜
Is this the tower that’s recently been condemned in Bangkok? Are there any other developments that have potential problems?
False information
@@ProjectBangkok that was the report in the Nation newspaper 29/07
Because the media is always correct haha I moved into that condo 2 years ago and it was the same issue then.. old news
@@ProjectBangkok bit touchy on this issue I must say. Let’s see how it resolves itself.
@@ProjectBangkok seems Bangkok Post reporting one of three actions could be taken, including the albeit unlikely demolition of some or all of the asset. Issue being 12m access needed to interface 18m + wide Asoke Road. Hard to see how to achieve this given proximity of Sukhumvit Metro exit there.
Cool vid. Electricity included? If not, charging government rate? Thx
Electric not included bud... I must admit I dont pay attention to the rate haha
We search for a condo not so big house, in a green area. Do you can help us?
Sorry bud I don’t have time for this.. you will have to search the agents site or speak to an agent in the area you want to live
@@ProjectBangkok Okay thank you. We will do. If you had time come to our chanel 😜Best wishes Siri and Uwe
What’s your channel name bud I’ll check it out
Thanks for this video. I am keen to buy a condo in Bangkok. Ashton Asok who can Imcontact to show me some units? Similar category building within the vicinity if you are aware? This seems very nice and I like,to know,if there is still units available to buy for self, use. Will be great if you ca. introduce an agent to me. Thanks.
what site did you used to rent the condo ? Looking to rent a place in Bangkok for short term
I cant remember to be honest with you.. I was bouncing around FazWaz, HipFlat and a couple of others
1:46 STUNNING!! OMG.
Shame I didnt include any decent sunset shots on this video... Live and learn.. have a new condo tour vid this Wednesday that will not disappoint! Have stepped up my game
Let's go!
Could you do a luxury condo for rent for a month I mean a really top-of-the-line up on the top of the skyscraper or close to the top you know I'm a US citizen considering going to Bangkok for a month vacation so the price of the condo would have to be for only one month not for 6 months or a year if you could do that for me I'm looking to spend you know between 8:00 to $1,200 for a one month rental of a high-end luxury condo thank you
Honestly Craig.. that’s no where near high end budget.. not even remotely close by any stretch of the imagination.. there’s money in Bangkok.. your looking for an Airbnb.. nobody will do a 1 month contract.. doesn’t exist. As I’m sure it doesn’t in your country either
I’ve been visiting BKK for many years, dozens of trips, but finally moving there later this year. Just curious, how did you find this place? If someone wanted to look at a few condos in the Sukhumvit area, would you go through a realtor office?
I have just the video for you my friend! czcams.com/video/md_Vp9fSXH4/video.html
@@ProjectBangkok Thanks for the other video, it did answer my question. Kind of funny that you mentioned The Trendy in the other video. That was the one I was going to check out first. I’ve walked past it many times, but never went in and looked at the rooms. Anyway, I just liked the vibe on that soi and that building. But after I seen your video of the Ashton Asoke, now I’m thinking I just might like that one better. My budget is quite a bit higher than 30k, so I’m certain I will be able to find something really nice. But I definitely don’t want to waste money either and pay too much for something that isn’t worth it. Over the next couple months, I’ll contact Sukhumvit homes and start there. Thanks.
@@ubon11 Top stuff.. mention me when you call and im sure they will be extra nice haha Ashton is 10x better than Trendy by the way.. a lot of working girls in Trendy .. but that might be your thing I don't know haha I don't judge
Wow man the more I watch these videos the more I want to move out there...what's it like for work is the question ?do they hire English speaking ppl who can't speak Thai?
Great video. Do you know if foreigners can buy these units and if so how much and what's the annual fees?
Yes they can. And it depends on the building
I will be coming to BKK mid June to late sept for a project at central world. Any recommendations for condos near by? My colleague needs to have treatment at Bumrungrad hospital. Thank you 🙏
No sorry mate.. theres thousands
You make good videos. Be safe.
Thanks man 😁
I haven't been to Thailand but I've traveled to 20 different countries. I imagine that I can't just fly into Bangkok and go rent a condo .. or can I? Can you quickly describe the visa process which would allow me to stay in Bangkok for say a year?
Mmmmm you can.. but for long term stays like mine they will want paperwork, visa, and a bunch of silly info.. but this is Bangkok.. so theres plenty of places you can rock up with your suit case and ask for a month on month deal no problem and no questions asked
@@ProjectBangkok , thnxs!!
Really nice condo and great location. Does the $665 rent including water, electricity & internet bills?
No it doesn’t.. have to pay for all those separate. I’m paying 2500 electric, 800 fiver and 80 water
@@ProjectBangkok Do you pay that directly to the landlord in the total bill or is there separate organizations you must deal with for each? Many thanks for the content
Electric is government run here so pay directly to them via a QR code on the bill. I pay landlord direct for rent only
