- Triphasic CT liver protocol is a very commonly asked protocol in exams as well as a commonly requested protocol in clinical practice. This video serves as an introduction to multiphase CT of the liver and describes the different phases such as the pre-contrast CT, early arterial phase or the hepatic angiography, delayed or late arterial phase or the pancreatic parenchymal phase, portal venous phase, or the hepatic parenchymal phase, venous phase or the hepatic venous phase and the delayed phase.

Hi, not easily visualised. With oral contrast, may be possible, but difficult. Endoscopy is a better option for that indication.

It depends on the clinical context.
Stranding in a specific area correlates with some pathology in that area.
Interbowel fluid similarly can be significant or minimal based on clinical history.
