I used this video to replace my broken pullstring. Worked like a charm. Thanks AdamDIY!!! One more thing that I would add is if your recoil spring seems to be a little sticky (mine was) and your pull cord doesn't always spring back in, you can use some silicone lubricant while you have it open to lubricate where the recoil spring slides against the outer plastic. Mine now recoils better than it did when it was new.

Thank you! I was able to fix my similar blower with your help. The plastic impeller on mine would spin before the nut would come loose, so I had to remove the spark plug and wedge something in there to hold the piston in place while taking that nut off, but everything else went smoothly.

I wish you would have not cut out the Spring Coil part to rewind it... On my leaf blower ( the same as yours), the coil unwound when I was repairing it. I am trying to figure out how to rewind it and can't find any videos to help. Otherwise great video! Could you either make a new video showing how to rewind it or shoot me an email. If you do make a new video, shoot me an email anyways so I know to check it out. PLEASE HELP!

Seriously, I tried to avoid disturbing the spring and it still popped out. Rewinding this thing is awful and I’m considering just buying a new leaf blower :(
