Hello Nick, first of all I would like to say great job! I am at that point where the block needs to be put back together. I have a question, is it possible you could put the torque measurement for the rebuild? I tried to find a way besides here to get in touch with you but seems like this is the only way. Whyd you bake the Pistons?
He heated the pistons so they would expand and make it easier to install the wrist pin. You can freeze the wrist pins simultaneously which shrinks them and helps a bit as well.
Makes them a lot easier to install. The procedure is listed in the factory service manual.

Stock made 300HP, so hopefully at least that to the wheels and I'll be happy.
@@BLOZUP I've made 500 on my stock motor and it's still running after 4 years how did you manage to blow the motor.
@@rustywrench500 It wasn't blown, just low compression. We bought it like that. Worn rings as far as I could tell.
