I just wanted to say that I agree with you, too. There are so many Wordpress forms for beginners-like Form to Email-that allow you to create web forms in under 3 minutes without using codes.

At 5:29 I checked my Gmail-spam folder but I can't get the test email message through for some reason.
Additionally I changed my 2nd email address as the email address which should receive these customer emails (but this 2nd email didn't work either).
Any ideas what to try next?

you need to put in a paid host
For most persons complaining about not getting notifications sent to their inbox, what you need to do in that situation is to Edit your forms > Settings > Notifications > Send To Email Address (Add in the Email you want the entires to be sent to) > From Email ( add in this shortcode = {admin_email} or you can add in Support@yourdomain.com )

Help, please. So, I created my form with WPForns and saved it. I went to my Contact Us page and using elementor I added where I wanted to add the WP Form just created and the look of it is all skewed. Meaning the name and email box and the message box is pushed together. first and last names are right of the box and email is to the left of box. the message is way too long and there is another name box under the message. I thought this was supposed to be easy.
When I first made this site there was a contact7 form that was not working so I deleted it.
What do I need to do to start over?

This was an amazing help. I used this to finish my website. I have used all your videos to build my sites and they are amazing and extremely helpful. I have a QUESTION however. When I finished my for and published it live, I sent a test email and it did not show up in either my spam or my inbox? How can I go back and edit this or fix it?
Did you set up the form to send emails to the correct address? By default, WP Forms will send emails to {admin_email} which is shortcode and will pull your admin email from your wordpress account. If you already checked your inbox and spam folders, then you might have to go to the WP Forms settings. Click on WP Forms from your WP dashboard and click on "edit" for the form that you are having trouble with. Next go to the settings tab on the left of the screen and go to "Notifications" Under the "Send to" text field, you can try two things: first you can check your wordpress and hostgator settings and make sure that your admin email is set to the correct email and is spelled correctly; secondly you can manually type in your email into the "send to" field in the WP Forms settings. That way, your WP Form will send directly to your typed email rather than using code to pull it from your account. This might help.

Sir, please help me out. At the notification section, I correctly entered the email address I want messages to be sent to, and then exported the contact form to one of my sale pages. But no message showed up in my email inbox after I filled the form I created and submit. I 've tried it several times, no message received either in my email inbox or spam folder.

You need to a setup SMTP server for sending emails by going in wp forms settings in your WordPress dashboard.

Hey, I actually just found the solution! Whatever default colors you have on your website, this is the color your button is gonna be. So I went to "Appearance" to costumize (I can't tell you the exact names, because I don't use WP in English...). There go to "General Options". I just changed the default colors to the colors I like in all the fields, also "theme buttons", where one can also change the border radius, the hover color etc.! This actually changed the button from the form from a light blue square to a square with "my" color and rounded corners!!

WPForms failed to activate. I clicked on Rainmaker forms, that one installed and allowed me to activate it.

Hi there I am having same trouble. Can't see the style option for button. I think he installs either the essentials for elementor or ultimate add ons for elementor for plugins. I might be wrong. I still got a give it a go though.

Great video but could you please add more to it? I was going through it and wanted to add the captchas to prevent spam but I didn't know how to configure the settings. I found their instructions on it daunting.

Hi there, can i use this contact form as a footer in every page?
Just set up this form on my WP site...Form sends message to my inbox BUT after having other users test it, the same message that I originally tested with is the same message that seems to be overriding everyone elses' message who's also testing the form. Getting the same message :(
This is helpful. Is there a way to verify the message is not sent by a robot? I like the the check box to tick to prove that there's a real human sending the message.
