Oh my goodness, that's exactly what I do! Once again, Charlie & her informative tips, has addressed an issue I struggle with. Thank you so much. So very happy to have found you🙏🙏
@@CharlieFollowson the topic of fixing things... I have been having some problems with my tensor fasciae latae. I can't seem to figure out a good pose to fix it, which one is best in your opinion? My abduction is all out of whack
In a video I did recently - I don’t remember if it was a 30 day challenge or an older one- but you explained this briefly and it clicked. After all of the strengthening I’ve done working with you - I kicked my foot into my hand that ends up being for balance and lean forward when it naturally occurs and voila! My dancer isn’t always wobbly! I’ve stuck it quite a few times recently!
Love your personality, and appreciate that ‘big mistake’ tag might work well with algorithm, but switch it round to the positive and will work so much better. 🙏🧘
i love watching your tips whether im at the level that i can do the pose or if im saving it for the future! i would love to know your tips if you happen to have some fat students! i love that yoga is for everyone, even when sometimes adjustments are needed (like your video on elbow hyperextension) eg: for 2 months i couldn't even fully sit in hero pose and now i can! & sometimes i have to use an elastic band to reach my leg behind me (like in dancer) & today i found out that the cube thingies help a lot if im sliding from bridge pose (?) to an L-sit (celibate?? pose) 😄😄 I'd love any more tips! thank you!! ❤️
My method of executing that position is a bit different than yours. I would push my foot into my hand, causing a push pull tension of opposition, so it would follow the natural path of my skeletal structure, there by engaging the correct muscles as I went into it more deeply. But that’s me, a male dancer’s perspective. I feel it follows the Vitruvian man’s circle drawn by DiVinci.
Sweetness. I’m already doing it correctly according to this, but my leg doesn’t go near that high. I often have bad wrist pain when doing this, I think because I was taught to grab the ankle from the inside while twisting the arm inside for the reverse grip, instead of straight wrist as shown here.
This is the nataraja pose in bharatanathyam but i think you modified this pose the original one was very difficult but as a bharatanathyam dancer this is easy
Hi, thank you for this. Would someone recommend me - - is your pelvic floor engaged while doing this pose? Or should it be your core that is always centring you. Anyone's feedback would be wildly appreciated. Thank you 🙏

I can do that,😅 right, in my dreams. But you're awesome.
This actually hurts me, so I can't, but hopefully with practice I will be able to someday
Can't even imagine chatting through dancer's pose- let alone such a ridiculously beautiful dancer's!!
Haha thank you, it comes with a lot of practice demonstrating and etching at the same time.
Can you/do you already have a video on crow pose technique? I hurt my elbows when I do it and I don't know if that's normal 😂
Hey I already made a tutorial on this that I think might help you. Here it is: czcams.com/users/shortsExP_Hb0KdYA?si=sn4eli7me0jlr6D-
@@CharlieFollows Thank you so much!!!
The balance ❤
What do you do if you are engaging your leg by pushing into your hand, but it causes knee pain?
Should use opposite hand, this will create less stress in the knees.
@@RunningAllDay4ever but what if twisting the knee while applying pressure also causes pain?
Thank you miss Charlie I'll be doing this I was doing wrong lol you rock miss Charlie ✌️
Thank you

So all this time I made the pose with a mistake...
Thank you for your tip❤
