5/20/24: Francisco Lindor speaks to the media on his first trip back to Progressive Field to reflect on his time with Cleveland and what the transition to New York has been like.
The key about Lindor is his durability He plays everyday no excuses from him and I appreciate him and how he plays the game. Most superstars can’t even smell Lindor’s approach to the game. A class act ….
If the Indians had broken the bank on Lindor, they probably would’ve traded Jose Ramirez. No way they could’ve afforded them both. Now we have Ramirez, clearly superior to Lindor, and Gimenez signed long term. One of those rare times we didn’t get burned in free agency.
He's clearly emotional coming from his old team. Theres people like you that give every negative thought about the game that they can. And then there's Mets fans
Maybe if he was batting over 200 the team could win. He is the main reason the team stinks. He is batting 3rd and hitting 200. So a little reflection here would be welcome on his part in losing.
Lindor will hit not concerned with that. Diaz's poor pitching is very concerning. His absurd injury from the oh so important world baseball tournament may have had lasting effects. As far as Kodai Senga please stop dragging out this lying charade to Mets fans.
people come to NY and seem to mail it in - take advantage of them. One day this will no longer be, when players take pride in the pinstripes they wear, and the city they represent.
@@servingjesussinnersavedbyg8456 and they will be paying him till 2041.The contract calls for $5MM of the annual salaries to be deferred, paid annually from 2032-41, for a total of $50MM in deferrals on top of the 35 million he makes a year till 2031 good luck trying to get rid of him
@@Jqueens93 Totally vexing. It's like the worst case of cognitive disooance when it comes to this dude. It's like when people make up their minds about something no amount of evidence can get them off it. Not only that but it seems totally arbitary. For example Mets fans couldn't forgive Bobby Bonilla for his sub par first season. At least his efforts led the team in most categories every year. The irony? Our lineup would be instantly better if we had that same guy now. More Irony: We moved off Lucas Duda for what reasons again? What happened to our standards? The fanboying over these two has got to stop, If we have any hope of catching the Braves we must make up the .40 point difference in team batting average and it starts with the money dudes that are stinking up the joint.
Glad he can admit that he misses it. I can’t imagine being stuck playing for the Mets. Garbage city. Surprised he didn’t just retire after a year of realizing how bad the Mets are going to be forever.
Awww....maybe he'll have flashbacks of when he used to get a hit 🤗
Like when he got MVP votes two of his three Mets seasons?
@marcrapaccuiolo2406 Hey bro what does your name mean I’m having flashbacks about it. Am I being as rude as you ….

Except they extended Ramirez AND dropped $420M on a dumb name, couldn’t afford? Nah, too greedy of owners
Hoping Cleveland gives him his due with a nice reception
It would be nice to see him back
Leave him there.
Are you serious rn
I used to talk trash to Lindor when he was in the Indians 🤣.
Cleveland fleeced the Mets 0-4but smiling all game couldn't care less about the game just visiting old friends

@@CorynthianLeather enjoy last place this year but as long as lindor is happy you will be 😵💫
Trade the whole team
Hes gonna have a mix reception when he enters the Cleveland diamond again tbh.
Yea Indians memories.
Cleveland won the trade. And sent him to a bottom franchise, with horrible fan base for his career to die. Great trade

He absolutely wishes he was still in Cleveland. His comments make that obvious that he loathes the Mets organization.
The Mets just plain stink.

How can you not be concerned when dude is hitting sub 200 and is one of the biggest reasons why this team keeps losing.
