@@katelinz93 I posted some screenshots of all my Azurah and LUI Extended settings here: kalam0n.com/author/kalam0n/. You may also need to go into the standard ESO settings to disable some of the vanilla combat text and overlays. I think one of the biggest offenders is the Ultimate overlay as all 3 have an option to display an Ultimate number overlay.

For those installing this for the first time once you choose ESO and find your AddOns folder it will send you back to the choose a game box, Just close down minion and restart it and it will now detect you addon folder and show the find more at the top etc.

Excellent video, I have a habit of settling on a UI then completely redoing it every couple of days.

I think ive got my UI looking as best as possible for now but being a long time returning player its a little unclear at this point if i have everything how i want it xD Might take some fine tuning down the line! Because a few of these addons do the same thing and one counteracts the other! but each addons has features i want so its a Thanos situation "Perfectly balanced, as all things should be" lol
So true - Harvest Map stopped working for one of my characters and in trying to fix it I've managed to break it for all characters now. Main reason I didn't include it in this video, something is broken or in conflict and I haven't figured it out yet.

If like me anyone recently uses this guide I wanna save you some frustration on voltans mini map- it doesn’t show up on the UI editor. Simply click . Free move curser And click and hold on the boarder to move it where you want 😊

Are you using a reshade preset or something? Your game looks really clean.
No reshade, but I am able to play with the graphics maxed all the way out. I also think I adjusted the FOV a bit from the standard and then of course the entire interface is customized with Azurah and LUI extended.
totally random question im new and I really like those green eyes and the idle pose your character have whats the name of it and how do I get it? on 04:00

Thanks! The green eyes are the 'Eyes of the Xivilai'. There's a similar set with non-human pupils called 'Anequine Oasis Eyes'. As for the pose at the 4-minute mark, I'm pretty sure that's /idle2 of the Deadlands Firewalker personality.
I hoped to find some tipps to remove the Ready check bug. atm there are several bugs caused by perfect pixel, TTC, Hodor. No prices on items, no dmg count and so on. do you have a solution for those errors? would be very helpful.
How do I remove the skill icon pictures that pop up next to my daamge? idk if its from azurah or Lui but there is skill icons next to all the damage I do and it just looks clustered. Any advice would help
That should be LUI Extended. Combat Text > Animation Options > Incoming Icon Position & Outgoing Icon Position: set them to "none".

OK I am returning after several years of being away. Going through setting up as much as I can. How do you get the extra addon tab in your ESC menu you can see it when you switch from Azurah to LUI about 2:50ish in the video, to get into the interface options? I cannot find where to enable it anywhere

I was pretty sure it showed up on its own if/when you installed an addon that allowed settings to be tweaked there. Not every addon shows there though, so it must be up to the addon creator whether or not it does.
Can you please link your setup for the floating combat text? really like what you have done, but i just cant figure it out....

That should be Perfect Pixel. You mean extending the inventory to be taller, correct?
minion won't work at all on my computer for some reason, find the addon folder, and it literally shows me nothjng

run it as administrator and install it to default location in %localappdata%
Sometimes you need to right-click it in the taskbar (in the hidden menu) and reset Position. So open it and klick the icon in the taskbar until it disappears and look if it's in the hidden app menu on the taskbar and reset position.
Restart the minion program. Video forgot to mention this. The old turn it off and on again ;)
I had the same problem ... try downloading the 32bit version
my game isnt detecting the addons even though everything is enabled correctly. i have them addons and minion in the recommended folders and nothing on my computer to prevent it like an antivirus, onedrive, or property settings.
Can you post your azurah setup in detail too? Is it compatible with people playing with a gamepad?
I'll try and grab some screenshots today for another community post. I do see mention of how to correct an issue with gamepads on the official addon description, so it seems like it should work, just might require a little extra setup.
Your bars show as Red/Blue/Green in your video, but when I copied your settings, it was just clear with no background color for my resources .... How do I fix that?
I'd check the LuiExtended - Unit Frames menu under Settings. There are color options under the Custom Unit Frame Color Options tab and Transparency settings under the Custom Unit Frames (Player & Target) tab. I'm betting something is off there.
I can't get any addons to work due to the "Read only" in Properties under "The Elder Scrolls Online" folder, staying on no matter what I do. Has anyone else dealt with this? I have no idea how to fix this.

In most cases you can safely ignore the outdated warning. If addon creators don't push an update to change the version you'll get that warning even if the addon would still work perfectly fine.
Are there any addons that can help me keep track of my gear's um "ability cooldown".
Im trying to keep track of whorl of the depths frost light attack proc but am noticing that im struggling to notice when i can use it again and was wondering if you knew of any timers / addons that keep track of it?

I downloaded perfect pixel but it made all the black area clear/transparent and cannot fix it, any suggestions I made made changes to settings nothing worked?

My friend and I play together, and if I’m the leader he can’t see me on my compass, but when he’s the leader he can, is there a way to make co op groups perma show on the map when not leader?
That's a new one to me! Under the Votan's Mini Map Pin Sizes settings (under Settings > Add-Ons 2) you can adjust the size of Group Member Pins and Group leader Pins. I don't think you can hide them entirely, but maybe your friend somehow set them to be very small? There's also some default compass settings under Settings>Interface, none specifically mention group members, but maybe turning off Compass Companions or Compass Target Markers also impacts group member appearance. Beyond that I don't know if I have any other ideas.
tysm for this video...i just reinstalled the game yesterday...i started playing back in 2014...put 1000s of hours in...then other things in life happened and been gone for awhile...decided to give her a go again...is there a way to center my toon in 3rd person?...i cannot remember...im not a fan of the over the shoulder side view...thanx again for this tutorial.

Can you tell me how you got your combat text to not include the name of the abilities
Go into the Addon settings for LUI extended, under Combat Text open the panel for Damage and Healing Options, then remove the %t from the format.

Some mods require more addons, some require LibMainMenu-2.0, some LibMainMenu (not 2.0) what should I do? Also how I know if add ons conflict with others? Should also install only addons updated from 2023? Some are still 2021... Planning to return to ESO and give it a try but been many years, so not sure anymore how mods works here.
Generally speaking, you can ignore warnings about outdate mods. In most cases, they simply didn't update a line of code to tell ESO that they are up to date, but rarely is there an actual conflict or issue that breaks them. In the case of LibMainMenu, you can probably safely delete 1.0 - I don't even see it as an option anymore, so I suspect that 2.0 will have you covered for any relevant addons. All that being said, there is a big of trial and error, but the 10 I covered in this video were all working well at the time of recording!

That's a new one to me. Maybe double check that you've got the correct folder selected for Minion? That's my first though, that they're somehow getting added to the wrong folder.
Too bad the addonmanager is broken. After selecting the correct folder, it will just do nothing. Tried clearing cache, xml file, reinstalling, nothing worked. Any suggestions for alternatives regarding addon managers?

In most cases you can ignore "out of date" messages. But if you're using Minion it'll keep everything as up-to-date as possible. I think Lorebooks is still working for me, so maybe just double check that you can turn it on, and then double check your map to make sure the pins are turned on. They might just be toggled off.
I play with a controller, is there a way to move the mini map in Voltans when using a contoller? it makes itself large and puts its self in the right bottom corner when you swap to controller and when you try to use the mouse to move it, it just swaps back to the Keyboard UI lol
Ooh - that I do not know. I'd check with the original addon creator. I still haven't setup my controller for ESO.

Is there an addon that's a good quest tracker showing completed quest and how to start quest?
I like Quest Map - I don't think it can tell you about pre-reqs, but it does know what you've completed and can show pins on your map for quest givers with quests you have yet to pick up. www.esoui.com/downloads/info1022-QuestMap.html
How do you keep the quest you are working on to stay showing and not change to another
There's should be an option for that under Settings > Interface > Automatic Quest Tracking. If that is turned on, then your Quest Tracker will switch when you accept a new quest. Turn it off to keep your current quest tracked.
Bro how do you move your attribute bars ? So frustrating 😅
The Azurah addon should allow for you to move them around. type /azurah unlock, in the chat window and it should pop open the interface editor. The attribute bars I use are from LUI Extended, which I believe you can unlock from within LUI Extended itself, under the "Unit Frames" module, there's an "unlock custom frames" option.
I watched this video, started playing ESO and got an Aetherial Dust on lvl 12... it's more than 700k gold atm

This outfit uses the Red Rook Bandit Hat, Silver Dawn Pauldrons, Frandar's Tribute Jack, Belt & Boots, Deadlands Gladiator Gloves, Ivory Brigade Breeches, and Thurvokun's for the weapons. Dyes are Graht-Bark Brown, Warden's Mos Green and Colossus Brass.

I do like Beam Me Up but I don't have much use for it nowadays. Plus, why did I spend all this gold on houses if I was just gonna use an addon to teleport around? Gotta protect the investment!
i have been pulling hair out over this for about a week now. i have it layed out exactly as you do but my game shows no addons.
This might be a silly question, but there is an on/off option in game under Settings>Add-Ons, any chance that's toggled off? Or are you literally not seeing any addons listed there in game?

@@blakebadgley4509 That usually indicates that they aren't in the correct folder. Double check that Minion is putting them in the correct spot. For me that's C:\Users\Kalam0n\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
Could be different for you, but if they look like they're in the correct spot you might need some help from either ZOS or Minion.
@Kalam0n initially it was pulling from one drive but I don't have space on my cloud so I was switching it off the cloud and I figured if I just remove the files and make a live folder with all the same stuff as it is in the cloud docs folder on my m.2 I'll just reinstall the game and I should be fine right? No. It's still pulling from the cloud and I don't see any way of finding out how to change the directory the game is pulling add-ons from. It must be in some code on one of the several files the game installs on my computer.
What about EHT?
I have a love/hate relationship with EHT. It's really awesome for enabling home designers, and it has sooo many additional features. But I find it a little clunky to use and it has compatibility issues with LUI Extended. So, I don't use it often unless I want to add FX to a home design.

That might actually be a base game setting. Under the Settings Menu, go into Combat, and then the first section for Heads-Up Display, make sure Ability Bar is set to Automatic or Always Show. Sounds like it may have mistakenly been changed to 'Don't Show'.

Are you still having this problem? Did you run the TTC client? TTC isn't quite as plug and play as the other addons, there is the standalone client.exe that must be run to update listings.
@@Kalam0n thanks for the reply, yeah I run the client before loading the game and tried to run it while In game it says all ok, good to go, but at the trader it just constantly says searching and never shows anything
@@user-cl6uf6bq2u There was just a reddit thread where someone didn't realize they needed to press a key to initiate the search at a guild trader. Any chance that's the problem? I've done the same many times, just waiting for search results to appear, but I never hit 'R'.
Not sure, one of these is just crashing my game after 5 min of gameplay :( I cant tell which mod since they all work xD
A crash like that is usually related to a specific action. Can be tough to identify, but awhile back there was an issue with the resource map addon and you'd crash when it tried to mark resources on your map. Do you happen to recall what you were doing right before you crashed? Might help point towards the culprit. That being said, I haven't had an issue yet and I am still using all of these addons today.
@@Kalam0n It would crash when I teleported or talked to an npc. After it crashed, the launcher would instantly crash trying to start it again and had to restart the pc to get it to work again. After dealing with that multiple times for some reason it has been working now and got the mods setup how I like.😅 Hopefully it keeps on working. Appreciate the response !
@@adrXpdza Glad to hear it's fixed now! Sometimes Reddit is a good source of info after a patch. I couldn't figure out the resource map issue on my own, but sure enough, someone had posted a thread about it and shared which addon to turn off to fix it.

That's a great suggestion - especially for newer players who haven't unlocked all the wayshrines or homes yet.
Where tf is my add-ons folder
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns is the default location I believe.

I couldn't tell you why, exactly, but I dislike using Minion. It's got some bad vibes. Still, none of the mods on the ESO Nexus are up to date, so we've got no choice.
I do think it's good to have options, and knowing how to manually install is also very helpful if you ever need to troubleshoot. I was just hoping to help keep the tutorial more accessible for new players and I think Minion does help there.

I actually recently had this issue! I found an article that said to switch to the 32 bit version. Solved the problem for me - maybe that'll help you as well.

Sounds like a minion issue. I believe they have a support form on their website. I am not associated with them so I can't really help you troubleshoot. I did update my add-ons yesterday without any issues though.
@@Kalam0n I got it working. The AddOns folder for me was actually not in my user documents folder, but my "other" documents folder for "this PC". Also, the folder didn't even exist until I interacted with the addons menu in-game at least once. I assume it auto generated that folder path at that moment. These small details are never mentioned in any guides though because more than likely everyone making the guides never tried to mess with addons prior to interacting with that menu in game at least once so it goes unnoticed lol.

By default it should be here: C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns - If you don't see it, you could add the folder manually, just make sure it's in the same place as your Logs and Screenshots folders.
Check your My Document folder - Elder Scrolls Online - Live - Addons. Mine wasn't in the C:/User/.... folder either.
