Mayhem In The Capitol

This video shows one of the horrific scenes inside the United States Capitol Building as domestic terrorists, emboldened by Trump and fired up by conspiracy-theory-pushing goons like Giuliani, tried to break down a security door. Several outnumbered Capitol Police stood their ground, trying to prevent the mob from reaching Senators and Congressmen.
This wasn't an outer door. It was deep inside the building. The astonishing thing is that dozens of these terrorists weren't shot dead on the spot.
These were violent people who were intent on disrupting Congress and trying to find and harm legislators like Pelosi and Schumer. They were also heard chanting "Hang Pence". They were definitely not Antifa. This was an all-white, right-wing, terrorist mob attempting a coup on the United States government.
Investigations will follow, but one thing is certain: This was an astonishing and shameful domestic intelligence and law enforcement failure. Not a single one of these intruders should have made it into the building.
This is our national Capitol, my friends. The top 3 people in the Presidential line of succession were in the building, and the terrorists were fighting their way towards their location, chanting "Hang Pence, Hang Pence, Hang Pence".
This is what our nation gets after 4 years of Trump feeding and encouraging the rabid pack of right-wing, junkyard dogs, with his self-serving fascist enablers in Congress abetting him.
This is sedition; this is a direct and violent attack on the very foundation of our democracy and the people responsible for inciting it, including Trump, must be held accountable.
