Hey fellow wizards! I just wanted to share with you that I've been put to Ranvenclaw from wizarding world! So I guess I'll see some of you there(?).
Especially that statue of Rowena Ravenclaw.
Thats why it is place of learning for Ravenclaw. Those who valued acceptance, intelligence, wity, knowledge, and wisdom.
Seeing all four common rooms brought to life in such detail gave me the feels.

You know what I really like? That each common room has this own personality to it.
Gryffindor common room has this knightly warrior aethetic. The house of adventurers
Slytherin common room looks almost like an ancient cavern, making it seem like the house of exploration and history.
Hufflepuff got that warmness and connection to nature with it, like you're the friendly witches from Discworld.
Ravenclaw is like one huge study, dedicated to the research and sciences, perfect for the classic wise wizard trope.
I honestly got a much more "elitist" vibe from Ravenclaw. Reminds me of a mansion of sorts. Was expecting something more "scientific", potentially with labs, astronomy instruments and the like. But all the others were spot on!
@@carlosmspk Mansiony yes, very academic in nature though still. I mean astronomy equipments were all around. A stellar map could be seen, some telescopes around every corner.
@@Umirua And world maps as well, I'll give you that. But they somehow looked unimportant objects lying around rather than the focus. At the end of the day people seem to like that room, so the designers have done their job!

@@carlosmspk It's a very astrological design but refined. The point is that ravenclaw is supposed to be the more refined and formal of the houses. Slytherin clearly is more gothic and elitist with brass and gold lining with marble pillars. Ravenclaw more has the look of the classical wise wizard like you see in most story books with things like alchemy and astronomy.
I really appreciate that they're actually making Hogwarts feel like a school that students actually attending instead of just copying the too-small movie sets and calling it a day.
Yeah playing around early, the actually have sleeping quarters for the students. The older Harry Potter games had far too little sleeping areas for how many students we see attending the school. It still looks a bit under utilized, but it's more believable. Also interesting note, I chose a female ravenclaw and saw someone else playing as male ravenclaw, the rooms are unique for both genders and are divided which side of the stairs you use.
@@Skylancer727 that sounds interesting for the gender part. i wanna see that. for the matter of space i think you can always say its a magical school after all so everyone has they place ;) i always asked myself, what if more magicians than usuall come to one house in a year? i guess its the same answer hahaha
@Sophie-vw5ol one thing I noticed after writing this. If you play as a female character you can go in both the male and female dorms. But male characters can only go in the male dorms. In Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin the stairs turn into a slide and in Ravenclaw the knights in front of the stairs block it with their weapons.
Hufflepuff got the best common room. Ground floor. Kitchen adjacent. Nature light and plants and room to grow...sandwiches. The best place to be after a long day. 10/10. I'm a Ravenclaw to the bone but no one wants to climb up a tall tower and solve a riddle after a long day mid finles week.

Ravenclaw here too. I find our common room's aesthetic a bit 'cold'. I'd like more coziness, that'd be more fitting to a house that studies a lot.

I really love the dark-elegant atmosphere they gave to the Slytherin common room! All the frescoed wall with columns, the rich furnitures, those marble stairs and historical objects... simply amazing!
Yeah, but the location of the Slytherin common room, is in an underground dungeon. Deep bellow Hogwarts where you can see a watery view of the lake at the window. Due of the element of Water for Slytherin.
Slytherins have been given a bad rep (for good reason), but I like how the common room gives more depth to the house and the students. Slytherins are sophisticated, intricate, socially oriented, calculating, and all the while, also being mysterious, cunning, and knowledgeable, even if it's not for knowledge itself. It makes sense why they're prideful, and you can see it in the common rooms, and its just so good to see
In the old games, it was the score by Jeremy Soule that gave the most personality to most places, including common rooms. Hard not to think back on it
And the Lighting feels calm and collected as the Moon, feels at ease and tranquil
I’m Ravenclaw but used to consider to be in Slytherin since my chinese zodiac is snake and my fav color is green. But I cant stand being evil and bullies which made me turn to Ravenclaw.

Hufflepuff is made fun of by the people who don't understand that, 1, anybody who is PROPERLY ambitios and clever wouldn't join a house that shouts, "SEE HOW AMBITIOUS AND CLEVER I AM!" and 2, that society only functions because of people that value hard work.

As a Hufflepuff, I can say our room is the best as its so cozy and friendly but I gotta say, how Slytherin's door is revealed is so cool

I know slytherin is stereotypical bad but I wish the common rooms was a bit better it’s pretty and I like the glowy aquarium vibes wish they played that up more with light and maybe more green carpets and pillows

Nope. I like ours the best. As far as I know, we’re the only House with a staircase that leads to a beautiful balcony rooftop that overlooks all of Hogwarts. It’s very handy when you want to make a quick trip anywhere on broomstick.
I’m Ravenclaw and I find it’s the most beautiful common room too, really suits me well since I love reading books and need plenty of light. I simply don’t like Slytherin’s because it’s too dimmed and dark, not good for eyes’ healthiness and sanity.

I'm a Ravenclaw and i envy the warm and homey aesthetics and vibes of th Hufflepuff common room and the underwater windows of the Slytherin common room. I wanna see those mermaids. The Gryffindor common room is cool too and the Ravenclaw too.

The hufflepuff and gryffindor common rooms are the only two places I’d wanna go to to relax after a long stressful day of school. They look so comfortable and warm
Ravenclaw common room is my favourite and I'm a Ravenclaw, but Hufflepuff is so cozy, it would be awesome during autumn,it narrowly beats the nostalgic Gryffindor common room, with Slytherin being enigmatic but coming last just because.

I hope they will give Slytherin common room some more ambient lighting, of course it's submerged, but this way it's just too dark to see everything properly.

It looks like I'm in medieval times at Hogwarts. The Gryffindor common room is like living in a castle. The Slytherin common room looks like a secret underground cavern and has an amazing door opening effect that looks like a serpent's tail and has a nice fountain or pond at the stairway. The Hufflepuff room is like being in a fairytale house cuz of it's beautifully design with the curved wood, hanging plants and archery doorways. And the Ravenclaw room is like being in an astrology classroom cuz of the astrology maps everywhere in a lovely shade of blue and elegant designs too.
I know in the books you could only really enter your house's common room, but I really hope that we get to visit the three we're not in, maybe by befriending a member of that house...
Or better yet, by drinking the Polyjuice Potion.
i kinda get the feeling even if the school rules say you can't go in, you could still go in gameplay-wise. From the demo, it definitely seems like regardless of if you are good or bad you break a lot of rules lol
Hogwarts has incredibly strict rules when it comes to entering any common room other than your own. I can definitely understand why though, it would be an insult to the great founders of Hogwarts.

For now I would be content to locate all the common rooms from the outside.
I've managed to find the above ground/water windows of Slytherin and Hufflepuff and the tower of Ravenclaw but the exact location of Griffindor common room still eludes me.

Ugh ikr I feel like everyone's like "oooh the Hufflepuff common room" but I'm like yh it's nice but like... u know 😂 Gryffindor one just feels like home. Like there's a lot of plants in Hufflepuff and it's a nice look but I'm like a mass plant murderer. Not on purpose, I just forget and they die. And when I was little I used to accidently smack the leaves off the plant my mum put in my room w my wooden sword. Completely accidentally, I was just learning how to use it and the plant would get in the way

To be honest I feel like the Slytherin one could be so much more, I understand is underground and under the lake, but for that reason I would like to see more "skylights" to the lake and more of that blue light, maybe some silver shimmer or silver pixie-like light around so is still a little cold but you know dashing a pretty, I think it's a little too muted to be a magical place to live
I actually like, it's very elegant with mysterious vibes and I think it looks better than Gryffindor's common room.

I think i've found it randomly flying with the broom and it's not under the lake, it's under that river/creek/stream that cuts Hogwarts in two.
Coming from the lake and going upstream it's right after the first stone bridge on the left bank.
You can see the round top windows just above the surface of water and some light from the others fully submerged.

Slytherin has the most gigantic underground fortress I’ve ever seen. Hogwarts feels honey and cozy while Hufflepuff May be small but it’s the most convenient. Ravenclaw looks elegant and magical
ravenclaw gives me that whole magic tower vibe you would see in things like dungeon and dragons and other fantasty setting games.

I like the elegance of Ravenclaw, the cosy cavern of Slithern. But I feel the nature doesn’t fit Hufflepuff and not a big fan at all of Griffindor in the first place.
@@simonnilsson8375 Hufflepuff's element is Earth and their Head of House is Miss Pomona Sprout, the Herbology professor. Nature fits them very well.

I’m a hufflepuff and I love my common room, but obviously I would love to have the gryffindor room since you see it more in the movies and it’s so cute and cozy that way. I think the door to slytherin and their rom is awesome and the ravenclaw room is so nice! I wish we could enter all the rooms, maybe by being invisible..

I'm a Hufflepuff and our common room, together with the Ravenclaw one are my favorites ~ Hufflepuff common room to wind down after a day, get cosy and get healthy oxygen filled air with all the plants and Ravenclaw common room to daydream and get creative and read some interesting stuff :3

In the movies we only saw the Gryffindor and Slytherin Common Rooms an we get a few details about Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff in the books. But to show such magnificence from the entryway to the overall designs and elements is just astonishing!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
None of the rooms seem to have a glaring edge over the others. so it comes down to personal taste.
Ravenclaw seems to be the most airy and calming place because of the abundance of natural light (plus the outdoor area). It’s open and inviting. So glad it’s my house.

As a Hufflepuff, it makes me feel touched to see so many nice comments about our common room. The lighting, structure, and agriculture, make it feel like a cottage. Honestly, I didn’t even know that the house of Helga Hufflepuff had a room like this. I only joined that house because it matched my values of kindness, honesty, and loyalty. And I don’t know why there are rules, preventing us, but maybe, if I end up ever playing something like this, I could find a way to let friends come and visit, even if they’re from a different house.
But don’t direct all the niceness to our common room; you all have nice ones as well! I really like the runes of the Slytherin common room, not to mention how it is _underwater._ You have the luxury of looking at the fish in the world below the surface anytime you want!
Ravenclaw has an absolutely elegant and beautiful roof, one I wish I could find everywhere. It kind of feels like somewhere I would go to reflect on everything, maybe take a look in my past and find myself.
And Gryffindor has a room that is lively and full of activity, and makes it feel like a home. Not to mention how I will, in all honesty, always Sir Nicholas as my personal favourite ghost.

The art in this game looks fantastic. So much nostalgia going into this, I have fond memories of exploring the gamecube version of Hogwarts.
For me its a tie between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff looks comfy and Ravenclaw looks cultured and interesting to be in.

I love how big they are, the Gryffindor common room always looked so small in the films.
I feel like for Gryffindor and Slytherin, they had to go with the movie designs, and for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, they could be as creative as they wanted.

Before the game, a lot of artists already made their version of what Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw Common Rooms look like from JKR's description. They are not making anything from scratch. What they can do is make a better version of each artist and platform that came before them.
I love how all of them are still familiar. Even though they are all new designs, we see inspiration from the movies and such that helps make them all instantly recognizable.

i love the Slytherin Common Room, i think it has the perfect mix of underground darkness, underwater darkness and the traditionalism and antique aesthetic that makes Slytherin the house that it is.

I've never given Hufflepuff house much thought just because I thought it wasn't as interesting as the other houses but I decided to play as a Hufflepuff this game simply because I saw the common rooms ahead of time and thought theirs looked like a Hobbit-hole. I'm now a fan and Hufflepuff is my new fav house lol
They all look amazing and unique. I don't think you could go wrong either way. I do like that blue ravenclaw robe though. And that snake coming up to reveal the door was really cool. Honestly the only thing I didn't care for was ravenclaws door. It was just a normal door but at least it had a raven who's wings moved to let you in. I chose hufflepuff and I really like it. I figured I'd give it some love bc we all know most people chose gryffindor or slytherin.

I think I like the hufflepuff common room better. Its got the wood like structure of the place that's full of plants and veins. It makes the place cozy and warm to be. Especially the barrel like door you go through to get to the common room. Can't wait for game to be released.

As someone who sees themselves as a Ravenclaw, I liked Slytherin’s and Hufflepuff’s, not only because they had good looking common rooms themselves, but they had some really interesting passageways to get there too rather than just some painting or a door opening up. I was really fascinated with Slytherin’s entrance suddenly turning from a random wall to a large door. Hufflepuff’s was cool as well.

The best is ties between hufflepuff and ravenclaw , huffle puff cause it feels so comfy and close to the kitchen and it is kinda bond with nature , ravenclaw because its in the tower which has windows all around you so the lighting in very good and looks the cleanest and most organized and also looks comfy like if u want to read in it u can if u dont u can just chill in there and look at the view sence they have the best view
2nd goes to slytherine they have the coolest entrance and the largest room and gives a really goog scary vibe
3rd gryffindor it looks really messy and ngl idk why people like it and i wanna know why

Honestly, I am a Slytherin but Ravenclaw's common room is so ELEGANT and just like I want my common room to be and even I feel like some of my traits are not so Slytherin like but more of a Ravenclaw. Yet the Slytherins have cool quests and a pretty good place to live and Ravenclaws have less quests. Idk what to pick!

With all the barrels in the hall, the Hufflepuff common room makes me think of a Pub. I could see Hagrid downing a few butterbeers there. All for it

Would have been way cooler if the raven claw entrance was a large raven with the entire wings covering the door that then open wide and shrink into the raven it shows.
