Reinhard Bonnke was once asked the same question and he answered ‘If I am sinking and someone throws a lifeline, I wouldn’t wait to see if it is a woman or a man but get hold of it and come out’. Yes there are certain verses in the Bible specifically talking about this and there are many more completely contradicting it. That is why context matters. If all that people are concerned is about a women standing in front of the Church to preach then it is just because of the male chauvinist society that has a hard time accepting it. Thankfully the God of the Bible doesn’t support feminism or male chauvinism. With Covid 19, most of the Churches are shut down so most of the messages are online. So will you also say that a woman cannot share the word of God online? When Jesus sent His disciples there was only one message but now we have thousands of denominations and theologies. So, definitely the original message isn’t followed by any denomination or theologian completely whatsoever. From a Muslim faith God was able to transform a person by His saving grace and Pas. Shameer is a work in progress like we all are. Continue to allow the Holy Spirit to bring clarity to the original message than being fully convinced because it is convenient and comfortable to believe. Jesus left us with THE GREAT COMMISSION and it was for all His disciples. If you believe that you are His disciple, then try to make sense of these verses about teaching and preaching. MATTHEW 28:18-20 (KJV and NRSV) And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. If you are just worried about women standing in the pulpit, don’t worry we will not come to fight with you as they are mere buildings and women who are called for this great service don’t want a pulpit just like our Lord and Saviour Jesus didn’t. We will continue to share the good news like Mary Magdalene who was bold when all the so called male disciples locked themselves up in rooms fearing death.
Is it any wonder God has not only testified against all such false teachers but also against all men, eg. Jer 51:17, "EVERY MAN IS SENSELESS AND WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE...."! What does this man want? The sharia law in the Church? Woe to him.

You are right, pastor, in saying that women should not preach in the church. I, too, believe it bcos the Bible says so. That does not bring down the status of a woman at all, as I have understood from my experience. But when I spoke out against this practice prevalent in my church(privately, not in public), nobody paid attention. I am hearing someone speak so strongly on this issue for the first time. Dear Brother in Christ, It is true that these women were chosen by God for special service to Him and that they stand as models of faith, courage, and, yes, leadership. However, the authority of women in the Old Testament is not relevant to the issue of pastors in the church. The New Testament Epistles present a new paradigm for God’s people-the church, the body of Christ-and that paradigm involves an authority structure unique to the church, not for the nation of Israel or any other Old Testament entity.

Before we get to what Paul said explicitly, we will see what Jesus said explicitly Matthew 28:16 -20 The Great Commission 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshipped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go [c]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [d]Amen. The Great Commission was given to the 11 disciples of Jesus only. They were told to make disciples, baptise them, teach them to observe all things that He has commanded them. Now the question is, did the disciples make only male disciples or did they make female disciples as well? If they made disciples of men and women, they in-turn had to make disciples, right? So, they had to teach the new disciples. If women cannot teach, then Jesus should have said his 11 male disciples to make disciples of all nations and ensure only the male disciples teach new disciples. Why didn’t he make it clear and why should Paul a later convert to Christianity had to clarify?
Dear Friend, If scripture says something we must obey and we should not give our suggestion to twist. For example Jesus healed 2 blindmen and told to them not to tell anyone because Gods plan is different but the blind men who healed disobeyed and went and spread about Lord jesus he might be thinking what he has done is good but it is disobeying Gods command which deviate His plan

Preaching the word of God is a noble thing, and there is no difference between men and women in the sight of our father; Lord Almighty. Our bible📖👼 gives lots of examples for that. There is no partiality between men and women but there are certain principles we should obey according to scriptures as it is written 1cor 14 v34. So we should respect and honor but at the same time we should follow what been said in scripture. We have to pray fully study the scripture in a open mind

I agree with you pastor, there are lot of ladies and children are preaching the gospel & the old and aged pastors are simply sitting on the stage , shame on them , some pastors are proud of their small children preaching after by hearting the words of God

Yes there are certain verses in the Bible specifically talking about this and there are many more completely contradicting it. That is why context matters.
If all that people are concerned is about a women standing in front of the Church to preach then it is just because of the male chauvinist society that has a hard time accepting it. Thankfully the God of the Bible doesn’t support feminism or male chauvinism.
With Covid 19, most of the Churches are shut down so most of the messages are online. So will you also say that a woman cannot share the word of God online?
When Jesus sent His disciples there was only one message but now we have thousands of denominations and theologies. So, definitely the original message isn’t followed by any denomination or theologian completely whatsoever.
From a Muslim faith God was able to transform a person by His saving grace and Pas. Shameer is a work in progress like we all are. Continue to allow the Holy Spirit to bring clarity to the original message than being fully convinced because it is convenient and comfortable to believe.
Jesus left us with THE GREAT COMMISSION and it was for all His disciples. If you believe that you are His disciple, then try to make sense of these verses about teaching and preaching.

You are right, pastor, in saying that women should not preach in the church. I, too, believe it bcos the Bible says so. That does not bring down the status of a woman at all, as I have understood from my experience. But when I spoke out against this practice prevalent in my church(privately, not in public), nobody paid attention. I am hearing someone speak so strongly on this issue for the first time. There are a lot of women used by the lord now also pastor uncle you must accept that 🙂. I accept it is said in new testament about to keep quiet🤫 in the church, but this very same Bible📖👼 mentions abt many prophetess too like deborah, Hannah
Also hulda a lady prophet and prophet Isiah ‘s wife was also a prophet and these we can see in the Old Testament

Now let me come to the actual discussion.

Is it right for women to teach the Word of God?
I will have a few questions for you in between and please answer me as I respond to each of your questions so that the readers will get clarification too.
Before we get to what Paul said explicitly, we will see what Jesus said explicitly
Matthew 28:16 -20
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshipped Him; but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go [c]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [d]Amen.
The Great Commission was given to the 11 disciples of Jesus only. They were told to make disciples, baptise them, teach them to observe all things that He has commanded them.
Now the question is, did the disciples make only male disciples or did they make female disciples as well? If they made disciples of men and women, they in-turn had to make disciples, right? So, they had to teach the new disciples. If women cannot teach, then Jesus should have said his 11 male disciples to make disciples of all nations and ensure only the male disciples teach new disciples. Why didn’t he make it clear and why should Paul a later convert to Christianity had to clarify?

If scripture says something we must obey and we should not give our suggestion to twist.
For example Jesus healed 2 blindmen and told to them not to tell anyone because Gods plan is different but the blind men who healed disobeyed and went and spread about Lord jesus he might be thinking what he has done is good but it is disobeying Gods command which deviate His plan
So it is straightforward doctrine

It is not any suggestion for the any twist by the way. Preaching the word of God is a noble thing, and there is no difference between men and women in the sight of our father; Lord Almighty. Our bible📖👼 gives lots of examples for that. Please do understand that🙂.

There is no partiality between men and women but there are certain principles we should obey according to scriptures as it is written 1cor 14 v34. So we should respect and honor but at the same time we should follow what been said in scripture. We have to pray fully study the scripture in a open mind
