Take a ride on the Dragon's Revenge water coaster at Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels, Texas, United States! The dragon-themed uphill slide was built in 1994, being the first ever Master Blaster in the world. The slide is used with inner tubes and features seven uphill sections with waterjets. Apart from the uphill parts, the ride also boasts a lot of themed dark ride sections, containing some special effects: While some of the short tube parts are equipped with light and sound effects, the last one right before the end even features an illuminated waterfall with an impressive video projection effect. After a steep drop, riders will come to a stop before they are pushed into a short river ride leading into the final runout pool. In this video, we have also included a complete walkthrough tour of the queue line which also features an elaborate theming, making for an unique experience.
Dragon's Revenge is located at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels East and requires a short bus trip from the main Schlitterbahn park.

Dies ist die "Dragon's Revenge"-Wasserachterbahn im Wasserpark Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, Texas, USA. Im Jahr 1994 war dies der erste Master Blaster der Welt. Die Rutsche mit Drachen-Thematisierung wird mit Gummireifen berutscht und beinhaltet insgesamt sieben Aufwärtsstrecken, in denen man durch Wasserdruck nach oben rutscht. Abgesehen von den Aufwärts-Passagen gibt es in der Rutsche allerdings auch thematisierte Röhrenelemente, die besondere Lichteffekte bieten. Während einige davon mit Licht- und Soundeffekten aufwarten, gibt es im letzten Abschnitt sogar einen Wasserfall mit Video-Projektion. Nach einem letzten Drop gelangt man schließlich zum Ende der Rutsche, wo man zum Stehen kommt und dann vom Bademeister in eine weitere Rutsche geschoben wird. Dabei handelt es sich um eine kurze Fluss-Rutsche, die schließlich ins finale Auslaufbecken mündet. In diesem Video zeigen wir euch ebenfalls die Warteschlange, welche ebenfalls aufwändig thematisiert ist und so zum Gesamterlebnis beiträgt.
Dragon's Revenge befindet sich im Parkteil "Schlitterbahn New Braunfels East" und erfordert eine kurze Busfahrt vom Hauptpark aus.

Y’all I’ve been to it and it’s very cool it’s fast but not scary the part that I like is when I’m going up :> it’s the best ride I’ve been to on dragon revenge! But I haven’t been to tp the ride in a long time but I’m going after the virus when it’s my vacation and when schools over :D

Have you heard of "Rulantica" in Europa Park, Germany yet? Not sure how themed the slides itself are, but the entire decor of the park looks absolutely incredible!
I come here every summer. It’s a phenomenal water park! If you’ve never been or if you’re visiting Texas and want to find something fun to do, I’d recommend it!

This was definitely my favorite ride. Although you have to go all the way to the other side of the park just to find it I had to ask like four different lifeguards just to find it. Its cool that you can hear the dragon roar.

I live an hour from new braufels and every summer we go to schillterbahn and I love this ride
Dubai has one of these type rides that really cool which leads from this to a bunch of other slides that lead into small ponds where your redirected into another slide by a life gaurd and then you go into lazy river the name of the park is wild wati. There’s some cool rides there’s I highly recommend trying out

Omg! IVE BEEN TO THAT ONE!!! I forgot where it was but I went on it when I was 7/8 I don’t remember but sometimes they have dipp n dots and I get that when I’m hungry :> but now I’m 9 so I think I’ll be going to the dragon slide when I’m 10 but I went on a yellow slide and I almost fell off :/ I was crying But I had a really fun time there!! :)

i went on this ride multiple times before and it is very cool. there is fog when you are waiting in line (from when i’ve rode it) and its like you’re going in a dungeon in one part. this ride is very fun i recommend it for people who are old enough to ride it!
Fun fact, when this slide first opened in 1994 it was originally called the Dragon Blaster and all the hard core theming, music and special effects didn't exist until the 2008 season. Not only that but there also use to be a spinning tunnel with a dragon on it in the third tunnel of the ride but I think that was removed following the 2010 season for reasons I don't know of.

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels!
Did this slide yesterday... Really wanted to ride it. We waited two hours in line and when we FINALLY got on it NONE of the special effects were on. 🙃

Ich kann euch nur empfehlen mal in den Wasserpark ''La Caravelle'' in Savona in Italien zu gehen :D
Dort gibt es einen HAUFEN Rutschen, sowohl extreme Rutschen (Kamikaze etc.), als auch ziemlich ruppige Bodyslides (ziemlich viele, vor allem steile Jumps und kurvenreiche Verläufe, schön in die Natur eingebettet), als auch meine persönlichen Highlights, die beiden Rafting Rutschen. Diese sind extrem schön den Hang entlang durch die Natur gebaut und führen einen durch Skulpturen und beleuchtete Höhlen. Das Ganze wirkt fast mehr wie eine Wildwasserbahn als eine Wasserrutsche.

I remember before they remodeled this ride! It was always the same layout but it didn’t use to be themed at all! I believe it’s one of only 2-3 themed rides at Schlitterbahn. Only other one I can think of is the Congo River Journey...
Too bad we still have to carry our tubes up the giant hill before the que..

Alan Wheeler ya, it is the sam type of ride, they’re like a “water coaster” as they call them. This ride has been around for ages, it’s a relatively old concept
@@rockeeetttt This was actually the original water coaster. Schlitterbahn invented this tech. Volcano Bay has a water coaster that uses LIM technology which is more advanced.

@@jessica45915 Hard to tell. The line forms at the end of the ride because they don't have that many inner tubes available. Wait was around 5 to 10 minutes long at 10am. It might have become busier later.
jessica45915 I live in this town and had season passes for a while. You can go anytime of year on Tuesday-Thursday and it won’t be too busy.
This ride is usually around a 20-30 min wait on those days or up to 2hrs during busy times.
The Master Blaster is their main attraction though and that one will consistently have 2-5 hour waits, maybe longer but I don’t go on weekends.

I loved Schlitterbahn but this was one of the worst rides I have ever been on. You definitely need to pay attention to the weight requirements because we barely made it up the hill. Like I said, love Schlitterbahn but I would never venture back to this ride!

Most of it just seems to be a tube slide through foliage - it gets more interesting mid-way through but doesn’t seem much better than other flumes. Just my opinion.
