Water Slides at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels - GoPro POV

- Take a ride on the water rides at Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels, Texas, United States! This location of the Schlitterbahn chain is one of the most unusual water parks we have been to so far. The German-themed park is seperated into two parts: The original section (Schlitterbahn West) is home to most of the "Tube Chute" rides as well as some classic water slides, including "Der Bahn" and the "Soda Straws" speed slides. The newer section (Schlitterbahn East) boasts the world's first Master Blaster Ride called Dragon's Revenge as well as The Falls tube chute which is considered the longest water park ride in the world. Both sections of Schlitterbahn are NOT directly connected - there are shuttle buses running in order to get guests from one side to the other. While all attractions are directly connected within the West section, the East section features three different themed areas with seperated entrance gates. That means guests have to exit and re-enter the park at another spot whenever they want to use an attraction in another park area - their bags will be checked whenever re-entering the park. At least Schlitterbahn uses wristbands instead of ordinary admission tickets to avoid the scanning process at the gates. Due to long lines at some of the attractions, we had to skip the Wolfpack family raft ride.
Water Slides included in the video (the letters E & W indicate which section the particular attraction belongs to):
00:11 Downhill Racer - W
00:31 Der Bahn - W
00:45 Soda Straws - W
01:14 Dragon's Revenge - E
03:04 Bahnzai Pipelines - W
03:48 Master Blaster - E

08:48 WhiteWater - W
10:04 Cliffhanger - W

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels was the first park of the chain. The location is now part of the Cedar Fair chain.

This guy rides water slides and posts it on CZcams for his job
Mad respect
he does it for fun
Info-rosepetal Occasions itâs actually their jobs they have a office and everything
Like he literally go to different country
does this guy have his toenails painted
For real that sounds fun and a good way to make money
This place is so awesome. It has a really unique atmosphere! I love how some of the older rides are a bit... Dangerous in todayâs standards
Lol thatâs what I was thinking!
Student Lucy Lyde yeah, Iâve seen the one in Galveston in real life (didnât get to go though). The one in new braunfels is more complex and has more rides
Lol yeah white waters be flipping you out of your tube!
YeahâŠ
oh yes! I went for the first time at the age of 6-7 i just went too new branufuls! It was near a river thing I went!! Itâs so fun same as schlitterbahn!
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is by far the best water park that I have ever visited. The old part of the park is beautiful and has many amazing slides, great views, and very mild temperatures because of lots of natural shade from the surrounding trees. The water comes from a river and several natural springs, so it is very clean and does not contain any chlorine. The park has been voted as the best water park in the world many times. The new part has world-renowned rides such as "The Master Blaster" and "Dragons Escape". I would really recommend this park to anyone who is the region of San Antonio, Texas!
P.S. The Schlitterbahn Blast Pass is worth your money if you would decide to go there on a busy day. It will save you at least 2 hours of standing in line!
You do realize that no chlorine is a bad thing right?
I go there every two years Iâm so excited to go this year
The master blaster is my favorite ride
@@sawyersnape2430 I hate to be That person, but itâs âDragonâs Revengeâ
Seriously tho, everything else you said was true, itâs genuinely the best waterpark Iâve ever been to,
Iâm going there august 23rd Iâve never been so Iâm very excited
Iâve been here with my dad so many times itâs great to see such memorable things! (My dad was gone a lot so that was fun bonding time)
This really means a lot to me as New Braunfels was our family's go-to vacation place, we'd go there every summer. We've only been to this Schlitterbahn once though, and I'm glad you guys made it through the long lines.
Brings me much joy to see you ride these rides in these times i cant, i love this water park
imagine going to collage getting a job and making a solid living and this guy gets paid more to go on water slides RESPECT
0:07 damn those slides on the right look sick
@Rondothemovieguy wooosh
TheWitherBoss YT lol
Those are the coke straws. Those are one of the oldest slides there. They are pretty fun but there are even better slides there
@@schuylerhummel6377 I think they were joking about the pipes on The Master Blaster,
Awesome stuff guys! As always! Canât wait to see whatâs next!
I love this park! So many tube rides!
My family and I go to New Braunfels about every 2 years to see my grandparents. We go to schlitterbahn every time we go to New Braunfels. The falls and Dragonâs revenge are by far the best rides Iâve ever gone on. Iâm really missing summer weather and schlitterbahn gives me major summer vibes đđâïžđŠđđŽ
I work here and I still find these videos satisfying! Glad yâall enjoyed them!
Im going this summer đđđ
I am going for the first time on Friday! But I have a weird habit of seeing the place and rides before going. Tbh this really boosted my confidence! Tysm for making this video!!
I've been going since the 80s when it was just the rides around the castle. I'm pretty disappointed that they didn't show the end of raging River when it actually dumps you out into the Comal River.
When I went today that part of the ride was closed off so maybe thatâs why
Anyone remember when the Downhill Racer went straight down, no gradual hills? And it had the hard plastic yellow sleds? Ugh! A million times scarier! Loved the NB location! Nothing can beat it! â€ïž
I went on that third water slide so many times as a kid it was great to see it still going
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is the best fun water park ever! Man I wish I will go there to ha e fun too!
I grew up going to this water park every summer. Back in the 80's many slides dumped you out in the river (not the case today). It's so unique with the beauty of the natural landscape, very cool spring water from the river. 100% recommend to everyone! Don't live in the area, I'd recommend a trip the entire town and region is beautiful Texas Hill Country. Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, Texas has won the BEST water park in the world many times! Landa Landa Resort is right next to the park.
same
we be wildin down here
I was just there two weeks ago. I wanted to come here ever since I saw it on the Travel Channel in 2009. It may not have the biggest slide lineup compared to other parks, but it definitely has one of the most unique and interesting lineups of them all.
But I did have one huge flaw with this place, and it was how packed it was. We had to spend two days there just to visit both sides of the property. Maybe I should consider Fast Lane on my next visit.
all of the songs you pick fit the parks! good job!!!
Man I miss coming here. I used to visit 3-4 times a year in the 90s.
Iâve heard rumors that back then the giant coke looked like you could drink it
I now live in New Braunfels and I will be going to this water park in the summer.
Iâm going here next week and Iâm just watching these because Iâm exitedđ

yea the wait for it is 2 hours ln a good day đ€Šđ»ââïž
That place has lots of cold water đ§ đ„¶
Fresh river waterđ€Șđ
So we just gonna ignore that one of the slides is sponsored by IHOP?
LOL
Yea pretty much
What is there to say about it?
The ihop in New Braunfels,(Iâm from New Braunfels) is a crap hole, they donât clean the floors, tables, bathrooms ect. The service also sucks
I love this
Amazing
As me being from new braunfels schlitterbahm has been just a every day thing for summer for me i will ride my bike there almost every day and just have fun season pass for people that live in new braunfels is a hugeđđœđđœđđœđ€đœđ€đœđ€đœ

I swear Iâve watched this video 47 times lol
I watch this so I can relate to Tuberides because I go here every summer
COOL
Cool water park
Going here in May again. Iâve never been to the old park cuz Iâve only gone for school trips and they donât let us go there
Aww the old park is the best! The tube chutes are chill but so much fun
The raging river was the best
looks so fun i am going in august
I live in New Braunfels Texas I used to always come here but now I donât come as much because itâs way to busy and the lines usually take like 50 minutes at the shortest
Is that the average wait time on like a Wednesday? Iâm planning on going this year
Skipping Wolfpack on account of lines must not have been a proud moment of yours lol. But Blastenhoff does get a helluva lotta people
Yeah Wolfpack not worth the huge wait but master blaster is totally worth
I recomend stay at the restort because you get to go ride the dark night master blaster and wolf pack 2 hours before the public is alowed in. There are also other rides you can ride early
Dragons revenge has to be the best!
Ahhh this makes me want to go back soooo bad! I donât know if I will be able to though bc of corona. I even saw the house I always stay at because itâs right by the park! Schlitterbahn is my fav place
They are reopening in mid June đ
Abby Moreno yay đ
I went yesterday and Iâm planning on going tomorrow.
Lex Bear did you had to wear a mask?
Lex Bear omg luckyyyyyyy
Best. Waterpark. Ever. Period. No question. No competition.
This isnt even close to the largest one
@@okWojtaz largest â best
@@tidalthrills i mean that waterpark has like the fastest slide in the world andmultiple water coasters

@@C0astinG4mer yeah I made this comment two years ago and the recent poor operations of this park has made my opinion of them flip
Damn what a weird place
I've went on those rides!
the black slide looks fun but wild
Ah yes black knight. Itâs really fast but you canât really see anythiny
Half of this park was closed when we went this week
This park has king river rides
Edit: the last part used to go through the tube storage area it was wild
We had plans to visit again this summer but had to cancel with this covid crap going on :/ hope to be back soon
I love in Texasso I get to see this place
My family is going here for my sisters senior trip
Itâs pretty good
I think I remember going on dragon lair with my dad
Great video guys!! Could I have permission to use this in a short video for my channel?
Sorry, we can't allow you to re-use the video on CZcams for copyright reasons.
Schlitterbahn đGood memories in my book
Iâm going there tomorrow we have the season pass so we go every weekđ
And all the slides of the water Park Peterland in St. Petersburg (Russia) please.
lm going this weekend
If you ever go on Raging River you could see a cat under the bridge!
Wait the cat is fake?
I can see what you mean I did master blaster when I was 6 and I thought it was crazy I went on to doing every slide a Kalahari round rock in one day I am now 10 and I water slide lover
Great that they did a comeback after the tragedy and going strong.
Talking about the one where the kids head was chopped off? That was in Kansas
Nice! When is the next time you guys will be in America? Try North Carolina.
We will return to America in May 2020 :)
you guys should go to calypso in Ottawa Canada
Does this park have alot more body slides??
I went on all of the slides
And he gives youtube tube specials.
When during the year did you visit? The park looks quiet and not super crowed - a stark contrast to what it usually is nowadaysđ
May or June 2019. It was an overcast day with plenty of rain. We still had to wait 60 min to ride the Master Blaster.
9:30 Lol all those employees for just one slide
This is a very fast ride and the currents go in a circle so they have to push you
The currents are very strong, and we lifeguards are out there to protect you from falling off your tube and breaking a bone.:)
I'm your 1k like and 100 commentđ đ„łđ€Żlove your content btwđ€©
They say that "there's no such thing as bad publicity" I couldn't agree more, as this video has made me want to visit Schlitterbahn
Been almost a year since I went here on vacation back in July of 2020. Sucks more than half the park was closed. I hope I get to go back I really miss the black knight
Iâm on my way there to ride all the rides
@Gamers Gameplay have fun youâll love the black knight and go try out that swing I know it looks scary but itâs fun. Go river rafting youâll have be sure to get some cold ones to go with it. And if you by any chance get back to this tell me how it was.
@@Saluvation i am going on the black knite tomorrow canât wait
@Gamers Gameplay recommendation (depends on how tall I are) go by yourself at least once itâs really fast have. Hope you have fun tomorrow wish u could go back this Nevada heat is killing me even though itâs humid in new braunfels
@Gamers Gameplay so how was it?
before you go to the old park just know that if you have kids it can be dangerous because my 4 year old brother flipped on a slide and the tube didn't have a hole but thank god he had a life vest. if you have kids they can get smashed by overweight people and get hurt. a person came flying into me and hurt me. on the slide at the old park an overweight person was not going so me and my friend got I front of her but then when we went down my friend flipped over because she got rammed into. the new park is way safer and has a weight limit
I almost got kicked out of a schlitterbaun
We are going in July, but Schlitterbahn told me that the Original Park side will not re-open at all this year:( No tube chutes:( That said, we will definitely be hitting The Falls in East side but still not the same as the Original Tube chutes.
Have you gone yet because me and my friends went a couple days ago and The Falls wasnât open and had no water running into it.
Dang 2020 has officially taken it too far
Yeah the falls was closed when I went a week ago
Thsi sheloed about to go this summer
Yay
wow
After the old accident I would be afraid to go here but you know, I wouldnât say no to one ride,,,
Which accident?
randomized yes it was in Kansas City but still it freaks me out-
The master blaster in new braunfels is different. Also the Kansas City accident was because the employee didnât care enough to weigh them
@@schuylerhummel6377 no, it was a slide that was way too dangerous and never should've opened at all. They knew in the test phase how dangerous it was and opened anyway. Many people reported injuries on that slide before the incident where the boy was killed.
That poor kids head
Anybody know the first song?
Song name?
Do they have 2 people rides,or have the tornado
All of the uphill water slides in this video can be either one or two person tubes
