Burni O Trump is a moron. Allowing shaman multiple draws is reallllly bad.
He lost due to to not having enough tempo, instead of getting outvalued. If he had used 4 mana to kill a 0/3, hed have fallen behind even more and would have lost even earlier.

At the end of the game trump had 5 (8 assuming he cast his card draw spells) cards to his opponent 11 soon to be 12, he definitly got outvalued. A sufficent gap in card advantage more often than not gets followed by an unsurmountable ammount of tempo for the winning player (as long as both are playing a "fair" game, crazy combos have they´r own logic tough)
If Barnubus had taunt the Quest would be so much better. You need that bit of recovery in order to start playing big guys.

if the 2 Mana 2/2 would discover a Minion instead of giving you a random one the Deck would be way more fun to play, too. All you do is play Minions, lose to every Pirate Warrior and Quest Rogue and get bored really quickly.
Yeah, he needs something, anything else. Taunt, draw, shooting damage, restoring HP, ANYTHING and he's at least be playable.
As is, you're better off playing Quest Druid without using the quest.
Jacob won't matter too much I feel like .. The main problem is that Druids don't have a reliable aoe card. Swipe deals one damage and Starfall costs too much.

Old Poppy was op I liked his comment 'I let him draw every turn and still lost to tempo'. Hmm, how can you stop an oponent from always having tempo cards on hand?
Old Poppy was op in my opinion he made a bad call by letting it live, he tried to justify it by saying he would fall behind to the shamans tempo, but for all he know he only for those "tempo" cards through the mana tide
Henrik Storbakk You are correct. Not only was it the right play, it was a mana efficient play. Trump was clearly wrong on that play.
I've played a lot of Quest Druid, and the biggest problem I'd say is that it gets more value then it can use

That Shaman game... the greed was very real and he got justly punished, no matter how many attempts at logic loopholes he wants to make to justify it. He had plenty of chances to spend most/all of his mana and not let his opponent draw into comeback mechanisms for the board.
The opponent had 6 cards in hand at the end of the game, so you can argue the 6 extra cards didn't really matter.
That would be pretty stupid to argue, but I guess you can
It's not the raw number of cards, it's the possibility that the extra draws offered the shaman more chances at perfect answers when needed.
That turn 4 on that Shaman game. It's so infuriating. Swipe was so good there. Many people don't consider it important, but he would have cleared that Healing Totem as well, which is a serious threat in my opinion. If the Swipe isn't used there, it will be much harder to use in the future because of that Totem, because all other hero power totems from the Shaman except for Searing will survive the swipe and then get healed back to two hp. So he would have to clear the Totem later, which probably means he would have to use the hero power as well, which is two extra mana to expend. Such a nice board clear passed up.

Oni Robot Steam cutouts. At the beginning of playing this deck he thought being slow is the way to go. Later came the realization that the only way to do something unfair of to do it fast.

If Trump had swiped the hot spring elemental the first mana tide turn, he would have perfectly spent his mana that turn, wiped his opponent's board, and had two full health minions in play. Naturally this would have put him at an insurmountable tempo disadvantage and lost him the game instantly.

Some say that mana tide totem is still drawing cards to this day.
Probably one of the most fun decks for me to play. Its a shame i could only play it during the tavern brawl event since I'm f2p :( Great vid :)

Lunar Visions seemed like the clear cut to me. It just sat in his hand far too many times, and just used it as an arcane intellect when he got the quest completed.
Change 1 letter and the title becomes more exciting.

the druid quest is just a win more card if u plan to get it slowly ... i mean if u got into the late game as a druid in this meta u most likely already won
never let shaman draws, I think its their only weakness. Shaman can be the strongest class if they get free draws every turn.

10:20 his reasoning that he gains a card by not swiping a 0 attack totem is negated by the fact that he could have swiped the 2 attack minion to kill it.
There's no way that you letting the Mana Tide Totem live for so long was correct, it is not only about tempo, but also about choices and variability that your opponent gains with every card drawn.
Has anyone considered using Starfire as a removal and a way of drawing into a minion in the late game? Or how about including cthun as a finisher?

Since you're running Curator I think Coldlight Oracle would be pretty good. And it's also a great play after Barnabus.

You know the totem draws a bunch of cards when there is a counter
a little late but if the goal kf the deck is to summon big minions but for free and the only way to do that is summon big minions prior it just seems a lot more tedious and less reliable than ramp druid also in your list you dont have any highly stated late game minions like ysera tytantus soggoth or even deathwing yo take advantage of being zero mana

I don't think I've seen this deck even once after like the 3rd day of the expansion. I think the Paladin quest is the only one I've seen less.
what do you think about one coldlight oracle in this deck? It is good with the curater and gives more draw to fearlessly ramp

What a sad day and age for HS, where all of the fun and creative decks are pure garbage because of the aggro. Then you finally get a slow matchup and it's an OTK deck that you can't really play around. Fun.

Trump was right leaving the mana Tide up, should've cleared the first turn he could with Swipe...
Couldn't you have just swiped the 2/4 and attacked the mana tide totem? I mean, you didn't attack that turn anyway so you wasted 3 damage of minion attacks against a high threat card that would have cost 0 health on your side in order to not use a swipe, and in doing so you gave him 5 cards. There's no way you can rationalise that away as being a good play.

What's the point of running the quest just to discount mid-range minions, maybe, slowly? This deck doesn't really seem to be taking advantage of the quest reward.
Against aggro, if you complete it and don't die right away, you were winning enough anyway that you might as well not be wasting some slots/tempo on the quest. Against control and combo, this isn't fast enough to win under them, and not rewarding enough to go over the top. Against other mid-range decks, like elemental shaman, this seems like a really poor version of those decks.
aiming for free minions... I would love to see cenarius in some decks

Hey, wouldn't it be cool if they rotated in a few disabled cards every week or month to inject some variation to the meta? one or two class cards for each class and one class legendary each and 3 neutral cards of each rarity could be pretty cool, yea sure some very strong cards could be enabled for one class, and weak cards for another, but that's what expansions do no?, just at a larger scale.
Azathor no that would not be cool. rotating cards will just get rid of varity. we only need rotation for problematic cards
