INGREDIENTS
150g softened butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups plain flour
1/2 cup NESTLÉ BAKERS' CHOICE Milk CHOC BITS, plus 1 tablespoon extra
1/2 cup NESTLÉ BAKERS' CHOICE Dark CHOC BITS, plus 1 tablespoon extra
METHOD
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C or 160C fan-forced. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Using an electric mixer or whisking by hand, beat butter and sugars and 1-2 minutes or until smooth and well combined. Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.
Step 2
Stir in flour. Stir in dark and milk choc bits. Roll 2 level tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls and place on prepared trays, 3cm apart. Press down slightly. Decorate with extra choc bits.
Step 3
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until light golden and cooked. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

That feeling when you opened Wickerflame Burnbristle in MSG and didn't know what to do with it, but now it's actually in a viable deck.

I would love to build this deck... but I have maybe 2 of those legendaries and about 200 dust.
aslong as u have tirion and rag u should be fine wicker u can replace with tar and tarium idk whats a good replacement.
Holyflygon honestly earthen ring would replace okay
1 earthen ring would be way to much healing in this deck and putting one in would be a waste
honestly rag is pretty replaceable with something like forbidden healing. Om;y thing thats really essential is tirion
not really having the late game rag is pretty clutch since hes an 8/8 if u dont have rag and put in a 2nd forb and u play this deck u will have far less success then if u had rag.

I used Faceless instead of Wickerflame. It's great to get an extra Tirion, Lightlord, or steal something from an opponent. Lay on Hands or an extra Forbidden Healing could work too if you also need a replacement.

People are all like "Woah control paladin is a cool new thing!". I've been playing control paladin since I first used the fucking class. No legendary cards, or any cards but the basic ones. It has always worked and always will. The class is designed to have board presence and control. The big giveaway is the hero power summons minions, which would promote the player trying to control the board with the aid of the hero power.

Room can be made by dropping pain, doomsayers, and forbidden healing. Also 1 steed works fine too but that's just more of a preference. One LOH works just as well as healing and pains. Given LOH's cost it won't be played outside of control matchups , while pain favors aggro matchups . Which Dirty Rat is just better than pain in both matchups

Against the paladin, you said he must have forgotten what he was doing as he hit your drake with doomsayer behind it. He wanted Steg to die to doomsayer so he'd have control with his 1/1s.
Fun fact about this deck is that it outvalues quest rogue in lategame

So I spend 5000 dust to craft 3 of the 4 paladin legendaries for this deck, and I realized that I disenchated the curator the day it came out because "it sucks! I'll never play this card!" what's a good alternative? I already subbed Elise for Wickerflame (that was the one legend I didn't craft; not wild about it)

That N'zoth control Paladin was pretty grizzly.
Not only was that a mirror match, but he actually went out of his way to just copy your exact plays when it was his turn.. even if it was a bad play, he wanted to make sure he just mimicked your plays... that's dumb.

the first game proves the broken mechanic is not the quest, it proves the broken mechanic is charge, if we want to have a healthier game charge minions should not be able to attack heroes the turn they are summoned, that or increase the cost of all charge minions by 2 mana.

Austin Williander it's the deck archetype generally speaking. A midrange deck shines the best in the middle(mid) of the game. But is sometimes weak to aggro, or very long drawn out control games. Control try's to usually play a long game and starve off the opponent of resources and win with control over the board. Aggro is an aggressive deck that try's to win fast before other decks can get set up

Aggro decks want to play quickly and kill their opponents by overwhelming them with threats
Control decks tend to focus on answering their opponents threats and winning late with a low number of game winning threats
Aggro-Control decks play an aggro game early, and then late game switch to answering opposing threats and protecting the creatures that they already have.
Midrange is basically the opposite of aggro control where it starts the game answering their opponents threats and then plays a mid-sized number of card efficient and hard to answer late game threats and grind out the opponent thanks to slowing down aggro with removal early, and overtaxing a control player's removal with efficient threats/dodging it with hard to answer threats.

Replacement for Wickerflame Burnbristle?
Tar Creeper does the exact same thing and does iit equally well. The only thing you're realistically loosing is healing against freeze mage.
Tar if you are facing a lot of aggro. Ivory knight otherwise.
I don't have wickerflame either. I think tar creeper is good. Slightly more susceptible to removal. Consider a dirty rat if you want to improve the rogue matchup
Replacement for any card is not playing hearthstone. A TCG without the "T" part that makes getting cards that damn hard doesn't deserve your limited time.

ctrl pally is food for quest rogue while also weaker against taunt warrior. There is a reasob why mid or aggro murloc is better.

So, today I played against a Druid who had a Golden Magma Rager in an otherwise okay deck. I was really confused. Then I killed the Magma Rager and won.

Deck is surprisingly fun (Have most of the cards except The Curator, and have Lay on Hands in deck instead). So far have had 7 battles with it and won all of them. :-P

My only dislike of control paladin is that the games take forever. In tournaments I don't mind it, but to watch someone ladder with a control paladin deck is not the most amusing thing in the world.
