I just want to point out that this collection of "Quest Warrior" includes 1 match where trump completes the quest, loses, and then two other matches where he mulligens the quest. At this point he might as well be playing mid-range warrior since it doesn't seem very questy to me.

Stetson Graham he doesn't use it becausr it's bad against quest rogue for example. so it definitely not top tier. since top tier means "auto play when possible" these days
I played against my first aggro druid a couple of days ago. Completely blind-sided me. I'm like "Pirates? in a DRUID DECK? WHAT THE??!!"

Got my legend first time today with quest warrior... Credit mostly to the control style of the deck which crushes those murloc/token decks, but not always the quest itself.

Only problem I've ever had with the deck is lack of early game plays. I cut Dirty Rat for Public Defender, which is better in almost every situation and counters aggro really well.
That droid deck looked awesome
The warrior quest might not be so bad when you actually try to complete the quest. I believe the quest card is a bit more useful when you don't keep it in your hand.

How essential is the curator is this deck? I guess it's the main card draw engine in a control matchup. Would there be a sensible replacement or is he essential to the deck.
Moral of the story: use this math equation in order to determine how good a card is on a 5 star scale basis.
X = number of stars trump's given to a card for its rating
Y = Card's star value
5 - X = Y for X =/= 1
If X = 1
Then Y = 5

Hey,I think there's a hunter card that lets you target your hero power,theoretically you could discover it with grimmstreet informant. That would be nice.

Reminder, never mulligan the quest unless you are 100% sure it is not a quest rogue or pirate warrior
Bjswac you don't mulligan quest against warrior... mirror is much more likely... and against quest rogues... well if you have many taunts in your deck you have a chance to finish your quest before the rogue, and also time your brawl well...

I swear it wasn't lethal against him in the first one, he could have used sleep with the fishes into execute into hero power, meaning he only needed to hit his opponent again with hero power next turn. I'm so confused

Trump was right though. The Jade Rogue deck I've been playing has been crushing Taunt Warrior and the other Jade decks probably have a decent chance too. It's just that no one is playing them.

I still don't think I'd go as far as to call it "good," but it is definitely fun and has some favorable matchups in the current meta. Vilespine helped it alot since the expansion.
depends on type of taunt warrior... if quest is finished before turn 10 then jades struggle, but not all taunt warrior decks tend to do that... at least half of the deck should be taunts to manage that consistently...
Dillon Hinkley taunt warrior is still top of tier two, and is overall a very very solid deck

I've first reached legend with quest warrior btw
And that is the archetype that i play against the most on rank 13~11.
Miguel Alvim Keeps being like that until 7/8, than the decks get far more diverse - at least in my experience.

Hey trump, when you do your re-review of this expansion, maybe graph the change in star ratings instead of just the overall distribution, it'd be interesting to see how the meta differs from the prediction based on which cards are actually better/worse than predicted.
Michael Lavy he usually does that after a month or so to allow for testing, like this video.

Small sample size and all but going by these games it really looks like the quest is kinda 1 star still. It was a dead card in two of the matchups and there was so much trash in all of these games that the hero power was just kinda meh - the weapon was more useful.
I'm starting to think taunt warrior could be a deck - but just rip out the quest and maybe some of the other questionable cards like Direhorn hatchling and simply replace it with late-game or early game depending on the meta. Heck maybe even protect the king + bolster! Now there's something I thought I'd never say but boards are getting really big so it may finally be worth it.

you don't win aggro through curve just taunt them to win they will concede later and where is tar creeper ? ;3
quest isn't bad against rogue. I've seen warrior win based off completing their asap. Taunt will not save you as they apply minimum pressure, rats and turn 7 sulfuras, double fishes or drake fishes is what wins games against quest rogue. Brawl isn't gr8 as most of the time only take down 2 out of 3 minions.

What beats hunter btw?
It seems like taunt isn't that favorable against it, and quest rogue straight up loses to it.
I don't recommend it for climbing, atm Paladin is much 2 popular , but this could change in some time.

Why would you ever mulligan your quest?
A Legit Duck against agro it makes way more sense to have an extra card rather than a quest. As your win condition changes from competing quest to grinding down your opponent
