Saw this same show April 4th in Biloxi, MS. With Blackstone Cherry and Skynyrd. My wife's first time seeing Skynyrd and Top. Great night of great music. Thanks for posting.

Have aged as fine wine...Billy is one of the finest bluesrock guitarists/writers in the world, with one of the most distinctive sounds (and vocals).
I was 13 and saw them play legs live... i was so lucky ...great performers
Although he's used them to great effect in the studio (including on Apologies to Pearly and the Tejas album), I've never seen Billy play a Strat live. This was a real treat! Thank you!

I've never seen them in concert.I wish I had been given the opportunity. They are truly one of the greatest groups to grace the stage. Thank you so much for sharing.
You better have a good pair of legs (no pun intended, but why not lol) cause NOBODY sits down for ZZ Top shows. Well, at least in Kentucky. That crowd was up all night, singing, dancing, you name it. They also chose the prettiest venue, the Louisville Palace. I almost want to say that was the best concert I have been to (apart from Joe Satriani, whom I had seen literally 6 months before seeing them in April, he was amazing as well!).

When I went to one of their concert in Paris, there was a line of impeccable sexy dancing girls behind them. The contrast with these 3 great and serious musicians was hilarious. Great Texas humor? Such a good memory...

I'm all for extended range instruments, I play a six string bass, and I love Tony Levin but I'm not so sure in this context. I love big bass and drums though. Ill look for a better recording of this before I say for sure one way or another. I've loved ZZ since the early 70s always will be one of my faves.

I read that Dusty passed away earlier than the date of this concert.: 10th March 2024.
Never seen such a wide guitar handle! Just 4 chords on a bass. Are the others just for show? Doesn't make the job easier.
I attended a ZZ Tops concert in the early 90's. Almost paralized so good they were.
Strange they never played "Concrete Steel" and "Planet of Women" on stage. But they did in Paris then. There was a large screen showing most of the time their right hand playing. Real virtuosos! Also plenty of extremely nice-looking bimbos dancing around them. But for once in my entire life, the 3 guys were far more attractive to watch.

I have been a ZZ Top fan for years but there comes a time when you’re not doing your fans or your legacy any favors by continuing on and it’s not just the new bass players fault.
Real fans are happily paying these guys money to see and hear their music. Their legacy is doing fine. The new bass player is awesome.
