  • If you tow your PWC at any speed that forces water into your engine, you will potentially damage the engine. This will be costly to repair. For about $15, you can solve this problem.
This video takes you through all the steps, tools, and supplies needed for this simple hack.
Watch the video to determine what size hose you need for your PWC. Then, order the appropriate kit and valve below:

Good video, but I should add a couple things: 1-You put your thread tape on backwards. 2- dont bury those fittings into the valve with a wrench. They WILL eventually crack. At the least, use more thread tape and less torque with a wrench. 3- Best practice is to use 2 clamps, placed with opposing "heads", on each hose barb connection. On short barbs, use 2ea mini clamps. That's my 2 cents. No charge😅

use brass ball valve. Those plastic valves are known to crack.

Would be fine, the plastic is heavy duty on the link I shared.

@@LetsCalculateSomething Not to mention a lot less likely to allow a build up of crud like most metals in water do regardless of material.

Just carry a plastic pinch plier and don't do any of that work. You have it if you or someone else needs a tow.

Could’ve used the heat gun. It would’ve probably worked better heat the hose up.
