Actually sounds decent. The first ever I8 with a custom exhaust that doesn't sound bad. Is the sound you're hearing in the cabin actually real or is that the simulated sound through the speakers?
I've disabled the active sound on it and unplugged the exterior sound generator. The noise you're hearing is all authentic exhaust and electronic motor-whine
We designed it with a clever internal balance pipe to "double down" on the 3-Cylinders note. So if you think it sounds a bit like a Porsche flat-6 then we've done our job properly. You have a good ear!
What if you want it to sound meaty all the time? I would want it to sound like it looks all the time, and if i want it to be quiet then I can do something about it. Is this possible with the system?

We have not made it with TUV homologation. Though it hasn't stopped a number of German enthusiasts from buying... ;)
