*BRAND NEW* Enviro 200MMC down Winnats Pass

- Here we see our Brand New Enviro 200MMC, negotiating the rather intimidating Road of Winnats Pass.
I was sceptical about this MMC at first, I have driven 4 cylinder ones with voith gearboxes before and I've hated them for being very sluggish and jerky. We'll see how our one stands rhe test of time however I am very impressed with it. Not as jerky as other ones I've driven and the top end power if the best I've know for a 4 pot engine!
The suspension and handling of MMCs I find is superior to standard Enviro 200s and the cab layout and having proper switches is also a vast improvement.
My main criticism is the start-stop, which normally I find useful as it makes it easier to talk to passemger when they are boarding. However this one is fitted with a very loud alarm to tell you the start stop has activated, which is very distracting especially when pulling out if junctions.
Aside from that, a very nice bus!

Fabulous ride but oofftt, would I be right in saying you need a a tonne of patience and be able to remain calm, when trying navigate your way past traffic on those narrow roads? WOW - you've got just incredible skills - impressive! 🏆

Not horrendous for an MMC but the peak combination has to be a 6 pot Cummins with Allison, unmatched performance and thrash... trentbarton have a few of those for the 9s and the hold up well! :D

Its a shame they didnt make this 6 pot as they are some of the most powerful MMCs i have ridden

Think adl have stopped having allisons as a option since a few have been catching fire but not 100% sure

MMC is on lease for year, just seeing how it performs. Think it'll probably end up staying
