To show such care picking out something that will be with your child for so long. Stokre counts to elements to meaning of the words. I know people of Western descent have their own meaning with names (honoring relatives etc.) but this is just such a beautiful practice to me.

My Asian name, Marady is a Cambodian / Khmer, and is supposed to mean Tuesday in French.
The word for Tuesday in French is Mardi (pronounced mar -dee) so that is actually about right :)
