My favorite part of this video is that Max0r admitted that he included the Chicago dig specifically because he knew this channel would react to this video. He even used the B-roll from the old Chicago Reacts intro.
I always thought it was because of chicago's generally ventilated nature, plus I always thought the b-roll was a stock video
@@genericscottishchannel1603 czcams.com/video/EYA4m8DW1RM/video.html this is the first Project Wingman reaction vid on this channel. peep the intro and check the pinned comment :)
It is but just remember their reactions are years behind the actual video.
source?
@@tylerabdill2429 look back at one of these Chicago react vids. Maxor got pinned, so that's enough credibility of this
What's really messed up is that Max0r's synopsis of the game isn't actually all that inaccurate. The reality of this game however is a very dark, and pretty depressing story. Since Max0r pretty much already spoiled the ending, I'll tell you that this game will really make you rethink your life and how you play games in the future. The ending is really good and pretty damn emotionally taxing, where instead of you thinking "YAY I BEAT THE BAD GUYS AND THE DAY IS SAVED!" you'll be thinking "I won... but should I have? Was it actually worth it? Am I actually the good guy, or am I the real villan?"
Well you're probably not the villain seeing as whats his face nuked the capital against explicit orders from his superiors but there is heavy weight on the "was it worth it"
Oh, I love that.
It's quite hard to be "the real villain" when the villain tries so incredibly hard to outdo you at every turn in terms of ridiculous crimes against man and reason
I far as I know, Yellowstone is not overdue for a eruption as that’s not how volcanoes work. In fact that amount of seismic activity from it shows that it’s probably not going to set off in a while. Keep in mind that precursors to eruptions tend to be large earthquakes and rapid ground deformation as pressure builds. The geysers that form in Yellowstone are caused by said pressure and releases pressure from it. In fact last year had much less seismic activity that usual and many geologist don’t even think that there’s enough magma under the Caldera for another magma eruption, at least not in the near future. Though there is estimated to be a water eruption in Yellowstone this year so it’ll be relieving even more pressure.
The "overdue" thing is just a misunderstanding turned into a meme. People forget/ignore that big volcanoes can have small eruptions/flows in-between the larger ones. Yellowstone proper goes every ~750k years, the last one being only 640k years ago, but many smaller eruptions have happened since. The last one was 70k years ago, but the average for them is 50~60k. So in that since we are overdue for an eruption, just not a society-ending one as people like to imagine (and as you said, there's no indication that its going to happen anytime soon anyways.)
Was looking for a comment explaining this misconception. Thanks for doing so!
@@Deukish thanks!
Thanks for answering! I honestly don't remember where I even heard that, and I appreciate you setting the record straight
It's more likely than not just gonna fizzle out and turn into a boring caldera
the last track was the finale for Ace combat zero (from which this game is partially inspired from)
Ace combat games have a Holy trinity (AC4, AC5 and AC0) which me and every living fan of the AC series has been begging to be remade.
This game is sort of a homage to them, while being its own thing.
i pray for its sequel someday

This is actually how the United States initially developed guided missiles.
They realized we could train pigeons to peck at specific images and if we attached conductive helmets too them, put them in the missile. They would peck at anything that resembled what they were trained to peck at (a ship for example), sending a signal to the fins to adjust and guide the missile toward a target.
Obvi we don’t do that anymore because electronic guidance is way better but an interesting development cycle.
I was entirely sure you were trolling.
@@nicolasbourbaki3481 he is not unfortunately
Shit, really? How many pigeons were blown up?
@@ChicagoReacts Enough…
@@ChicagoReacts I don’t know but the design utilized 3 pigeons per weapon to ensure that if one pigeon pecked at the wrong object the other two would overrule it by pecking at the correct one.
I really hope that some of you guys make a reaction video on Bricky's fresh review on Project Wingman. He basically deciphered all things Maxor said from binary code to actual human language =)
Recently finished the game myself on normal difficulty and started another run on hard, all i have to say is the music slaps and Prez is best waifu
That “I’m sorry” just before she blacks out from the G forces you’re pulling against Crimson 1
The composer is a chad and has all of his music from the game on youtube.
www.youtube.com/@JosePavli
The live versions are *chef's kiss. Especially the anniversary mix.
Yeah, the music did a lot of lifting in this game and it's so good. Maybe you should react to Jose Pavli's work on the game's ost.
15:02 he did It in the ace combat 7 video, speaking of which 100% recomend playing project wingman
this one never gets old
This is amazing on VR. I keep it installed and play it regularly.
Ah yes the Metal Gear school of geopolitics.
15:00 Because Ace Combat 7 is the Nickleback meme.
Yellowstone will not have a "earth shattering" kaboom anytime soon if ever
Haven't been to Chicago honestly but is it really a nuclear wasteland there like Max0r said?
Nah. A lot of it is quite nice. There's just... Places you don't go. Especially after dark.
can you do the Rimmy Downunder's review of this game too? it's called "☢ DISMANTLE THE UN ☢ | Project Wingman VR Review"
@4:10 based Lauren
3:15 you can react to Soup Emporium's video on Yellowstone eraption myth
For the record, some of the music in the video is not from Project Wingman, some of it is from the Ace Combat series, particularly Ace Combat 0, a game that Max0r did an incorrect summary video on.
If you want facts about Yellowstone - watch the video about it from Soup Emporium ^^
Lauren should react to max0r's Ace Combat videos that would be nice and funny I think :))
you should check out Bricky´s vid on the same game
A fun react series would be TAL’s series on Nostalgia Critic and the Channel Awesome movies
That actually would be very interesting for me. I'll have to look into that.
@@ChicagoReacts here’s part 1. czcams.com/video/6eNDwXjygzY/video.html
would you be interested in reacting to Chicken Attack?
maybe even to the whole series of videos
I'll have to look into it. What's it about? Other than, presumably, attacking chickens
@@ChicagoReacts it's a song about ...Chicken Ninja and his ...master?
Yodeling. It's a yodeling comedic songs about animals transforming into fighters and fighting bad guys
The more I explain the more I realize how dumb/boring it sounds, but the songs are wonderful and fun and full of feels
or maybe yodeling is an earlier song of that singer...
also very fun
