- Mountain biking in a mine is quite an experience! I recently completed a race called Miner's revenge. This was a gnarly and grueling MTB race but the standout feature is that the course runs through a copper mine. This is the raw footage of me and Rico @mtbtrailsherpa making our second pass through the mine.

This is the best video of the Miners Revenge I've seen.
The yellow gate at 3:08 is where you can rappel down 80' to the next level on one of the tours. My family and I did that last summer. It was pretty awesome

Miner's Revenge is unique and challenging. As soon as you enter the mine, you realize that the wet and slimy cobbles are a very tricky surface to ride on, and that there is no place to fall that isn't hard, sharp or both. I hope to maybe go back if the MTB (and money) gods smile upon me,
Yeah. Pretty unforgiving in there. It was the toughest xc race I've done to date. Very unique. I hope to go back and race it again.

If you don't like tight spaces or being underground, it can be a bit intimidating.
Being a little claustrophobic, there is no way I would enter that if I couldn't see a light at the end
