- Some trucking groups in B.C. say they support the ‘freedom convoy’s’ right to protest vaccine mandates - but as Kier Junos and OMNI report, they haven’t joined the convoy; the majority of their members are vaccinated.
This is NOT just about truckers facing mandates. Its everyone they are sticking up for.

Right now they are interviewing Mike Kutcharsky, owner of JKC Trucking with truckers taking part in the rally and he's VERY pro-freedom and anti-mandates!
As a Sikh myself these comments by these people representing truckers in lower mainland are disappointing, this fight is against tyranny and for freedom

All mandates must be dropped. Discrimination, segregation, and medical apartheid are immoral, unethical, unconstitutional, and illegal. Coercion is not consent. Anyone who uses blackmail, extortion, intimidation, and threats against a person's ability to feed their families are criminal and should be thrown in jail for terrorism, sedition, and treason.

The mandate which is a public health measure is indeed legal. It's not segregation or an apartheid bc both of those are discriminations based on traits over which one has no control like skin colour, gender, or ethnicity. The vaccine mandate is not.
It's well within our Charter rights. Non compliance to the mandate is not a crime, and just bc you don't like the consequences of non compliance does not mean it's illegal. Legality does not stand on personal feelings toward issues.

I know from speaking with many truckers they felt completely coerced into taking the clotshots. It broke their hearts have to submit but many are on point of not only losing their trucks but their homes. They have felt desperate - gave in under duress to getting jabbed. Jagmeet Singh denounces the truck convoy headed to Ottawa then learns after the fact that his own brother in law supports the peaceful protest going as far as to donate a considerable sum to the peaceful protest (which has the NDP leader come out and make a statement that his brother in law made a mistake), and immediately our media runs a program with South Asians who don't entirely oppose the protest but are "watering" down the importance of this protest... or at least the ones interviewed. But what they neglect to mention is most of the people protesting are also vaccinated. The issue has never been saying vaccines should not exist, but that forced vaccinations and vaccine passports are a major concern for personal control over ones own health, as well as privacy, and descrimination based on medical information.

Don't worry back of my place there is thousands of first nations graves .people that died from the last pandemic. That the government of Canada gave them blankets with the virus .I worked for year with the first nations people of yellow quill first nations in Saskatchewan to get the area protected from the big logging companies. I was the only one that knew of these graves because my grandfather told me what happened. So yes I know about the government killing first nations. I respect you but don't say I don't know .I did this for your people. If not no one would of knew not even the first nations that lost love ones hear .we do things like that because we care about others besides are selfs. I don't see your point. If they interviewed one of the truckers in the convoy, does he represent ALL truckers? These two guys do not speak for all SA truckers, and that's not implied in any way. However, they are a part of the 90% of truckers who are vaccinated. That's a FACT.

Thank you to all the truckers. Grocery stores are not mandated, yet the staff are around more people then long haulers. Why? Our government treated the truckers with respect at the beginning, and they deserved every bit of it. For 2 years our truckers and the USA truckers crossed the boarder, not knowing what kind of health dangers were around the corner. So what Changed? Why do the truckers need a mandate? Can you imagine if mandates for everyone with pets, kids, or were married. Now you say, but I have a choice, thats all the truckers want, choice. To all the truckers, I have the utmost respect for you. Please be careful, supposely trouble makers are around the area.

Other industry concerns are so unimportant in this context. This is no longer about only truckers and vaccine mandates. This is about how Canadian people and their children will live, what government will look like, what rights will people continue to have.
This protest may, and I hope will, leave a positive mark in all democratic countries.
I don’t think people grasp the amount of destruction the “emergency” measures have brought; and the number of freedoms that were just bluntly stolen not just from mature and maturing people but also kids.
And I am beyond words disgusted by the media supporting the current government course and just shrugging off this event. I mean this is bottom line criminal; and I really hope they can turn around and redeem themselves; otherwise one day there will be consequences for the people that drive the narrative.

It's called "informed consent" - a central pillar of any medical treatment. It's where your doctor gives you the info and then you decide what you're going to have done. We've been denied access to informed consent.
