I have never seen two alternate art carts out of a fusion strike booster box
I think because one is V alt art and the other is a VMAX it is possible.

I will say I did get 2 alt art zards out of a upc. One pack being a demi god pack. So I’m not saying anything is impossible but there was a clear edit
Fun fact: Fusion Strike was the first booster box to feature the “new style” code cards. Evolving Skies was the last main set to feature White/Green code cards.
Personally, I think Chilling Reign is still underrated. Nice to see Fusion Strike getting some attention though.

@@owenstevens5612 thats still 18000 packs. But yea this was before the boom made him massive $$$ so he was wealthy before the boom dropping 90k on a single purchase.
I got back into pokemon when fusion came out. Ripped blisters from gamestop when they had a 5 product limit and my 2nd time there on my 8th pack I pulled that Celebi alt and I was hooked again lol
I've always loved Fusion Strike. Gengar Vmax, Espeon Vmax, Mew Vmax & V, Celebi V etc, alt arts and all stunning! It's so slept on, and those are the sets that explode later on.
I love fusion strike, that gengar is my favorite alt from the sword and shield era
So glad I pulled the Gengar Alt 4 packs into the 5 packs I bought from a card shop. Didn’t have to chase for ages

I also pulled 2 alt arts from a Fusion Strike booster box. They were Greedent v & Sandaconda V, though

I like it more then chilling rain and then other 7sets that started the sword and shield era

No joke I walked into my local card shop Saturday, Jaspys in Hermosa Beach (amazing guys in there, great shop!), and they had a box of Fusion Strike sitting at $146. I told them it didn't reflect current market, and they didnt seem to mind, and gave it to me for that price. I guess hunting for sealed pokemon products at card shops specializing in mostly Sports Cards can yield unexpected results? Curious to know if anyone else has had anything similar to this happen in their collecting journey.
wow thats super weird. my experience with card shops is that they overprice things like crazy. my local card shop prob selling fusion strike at 400usd lol
@@ajithrajaful Interesting, are they primarily TCG? Or do they do sports cards as well? I think the reason it was priced this way is because the shop I was at is 95% sports, and then has a little corner off to the side with minimal Pokemon and other various TCG.

Just good owners, shop in my area had a umbreon vmax for $660 they priced it before it increased and was still there for $660 after it flew up. Some I guess just keep their initial price when they got it

Got a fusion strike pack in a Lucario premium collection and pulled a Gengar VMAX
Glad I grabbed some 3-pack blister packs with the Espeon. Could tell Sword and Shield packs are hot as it goes out of print. My suggested name: Fusion Strike-Out

My very first booster box I ever opened was Fusion Strike and I pulled the Greedent V alt, Sandaconda V alt, and the Mew VMAX alt. At the time, I had no idea hits have limits and just assumed I had a “good box”.

Finally a box of things I have bought lately! one of the stores here sell 2 different kind of sleeve packs and out of 3 Fusion Strikes I got a Mew rainbow Vmax, has one small print line but still best card I ever pulled to be honest, I do not remember at all the cards I opened as a kid lmao

Imo Fusion Strike is extremely underrated compared to Evolving skies. You have two of the most popular First Gen Pokémon featured with awesome cards, Celebi and Espeon are fantastic too. Gengar, Espeon, Mew, Celebi, Genesect, Inteleon vs. Umbreon, Rayquaza, Dragonite, Glaceon, Leafeon, Sylveon - for me it's a tie and these two are the best Pre-Brilliant Stars Sets in the SWSH-era

The only fusion strike i opened was the free pack i got for buying scarlet game. And there was a alt gengar in it. I am still shock when i think to it, but love the gengar card 😍😍.
Some of the sets make sense that the booster box is priced how it is. But most sets literally just go up because of them being harder to find due to age. But I've always thought Fusion Strike had potential because of the more difficult pull rates + the nice Alternate Art cards. I am sad I didn't rebuy a fusion strike ETB just to hold onto, like I said I would, but I just had to open that one haha.
I have pulled the celebi V alt art aswell! Was super pumped! What an absolutely gorgeous art.

I’ve pulled the gengar & genosect out of one box. 1st & last box I ever opened out of fusion strike. Mind blowing but can definitely happen ❤
I love this set, I bought the Pokémon advent calendar this past Christmas and pulled the alt art gengar vmax in one of the fusion packs. I recently sent it into get graded as my first graded card and it just came back a 10!
Pulled the Espeon from 2 random packs in an advent calendar that happened to be on sale a month or 2 ago. Didn't even know it was one of the heavy hitters at the time. 😂
I personally love fusion strike. The gengar and the espeon are amazing. I wound up buying both as singles but its in my top 5 sets from sword and shield.

i got a case for 550 when it came out, along with every single sword and shield set and felt nervous at the time. sold off my swsh individual display boxes to assure my cases are as close to free as possible, holding through this boom holding through any valley, keeping my cases for a long time since they are very close to free at this point

I think that last pack was fake. There was an edit cut right before he throws the wrapper to the left of the screen.

Fusion strike has some really cool alt art cards in it. I never had much luck with pulls from it though.
I love Fusion Strike, to me its such a great set. My best friend got me my very first Booster Box and it was FS. I still have it sealed and don't plan on opening it. Loved the pulls you got in this one.

Love the videos. It reminded me that four years ago, before I rediscovered pokemon, I found a Gyrados EX 123/122 2016 card just on the ground. It's beat up to all hell, so not valuable but it was so cool I picked up and still have it.
That price is nuts!! Not sure about in the states, but here in the UK, they still have it in stock at Pokémon centre

I honestly absolutely love Fusion Strike. Always had the best luck. Never have had a set treat me as good lol I pulled 2 alt arts as well in 1 booster that my mom got me for my birthday. Greedent V and Gengar VMax

I opened a silver tempest etb the day of and got the alt art regdrago and Lugia but I traded the redrigago to my friend but I still have the Lugia in my binder

I opened a few of these back in the day when they were around $100. One of them was the worst booster box I ever opened. Only 5 hits, the best one being a full art Schoolboy, smh. Hope some people read this comment before dropping $240 or whatever for a box of this set. That price is INSANE. Get in early and you won't have to worry about ridiculous prices like this.

In BC, Canada local marketplaces selling FS boxes for $400-$500 cad, about $300-$350 usd. It's a bit ridiculous considering I can buy singles at the store for $7 cad a pack. I guess if people paying that then can't blame the seller.

IMO it was always a surprise that people didn't like Fusion Strike. There are some awesome cards from very popular pokemon. I mean look at the Mew V alt art, still a severely under priced card. I realized the sets potential and thankfully kept a few booster boxes in storage, it was criminally underrated for too long. My guess its because it came out after Evolving Skies which was impossible to live up to.
They may have names like chilling pain and evolving cries but these S&S sets have got some banger pulls to them. Love that Celebi alt art.
Honestly this isnt as suprising to me. Next to zard gengar has always been a super popular pokemon. I pulled the alt art gengy boy from a booster box so im happy lol

Mew Vmax alt art is my favorite card in this set , the colors on this card pop the most compaired to the other alt arts

Last night I bought a pack of fusion strike from my local Dollar general I didn't even realize what I was looking at when I opened the pack but I got an alternate art Gengar. Apparently it's worth money.
either 250 for a box to try and pull the gengar or 250 for a slightly damaged gengar, i think its a safer bet to js buy the single at that point especially with the pullrates
I feel like everyone is only now starting to realize that the Sword & Shield era is fully over... And they're scrambling to get ahold of booster boxes while they're still easy to find.
That said, you probably picked the one single Fusion Strike box that was actually worth opening! Insane pulls
