While Rustem is looking for his daughter everywhere, Nigar is coming to the end of the road! Suleiman confronts his fears about Mustafa. Prince Mustafa, on the other hand, thinks that his father has given up on him. While trying to get rid of Lutfi Pasha, Rustem is also trying to keep Mustafa from Manisa. Lutfi Pasha is the victim of his anger and makes a mistake that will cost him his life. Süleyman makes an important decision about Mustafa!

Sultan Süleyman, padişahlığının ilk gününde verdiği buyruklarla nasıl bir padişah olduğunu göstermek ister. Ama bu kararlar herkesin hoşuna gitmeyecektir. Sultan Süleyman ise gönderdiği mesajlarla, tüm Avrupa’ya meydan okumaktan çekinmez.
Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Ibrahim would too show his displeasure, but after the story with Nigar, he would be more understanding. Finally, he would try to turn Bayazid on their and Mustafa's side.

Honestly, I think the show could've written the children of Ibrahim (including his illegitimate daughter in this) much better. The kids could've returned to wreak vengeance on those who had harmed their family members, which could've been why Huricihan angled for such a relationship with Bayezid (perhaps only to fall truly in love with him later). Her actress is amazing, but, more often than not, her character is just so...flat (and her relationship with Bayezid even more so).

He could have been a statesman to rattle Rüstem and Hürrem's politics while Huricihan disrupted Hürrem's relationships with her sons and Kader could possibly be have the same dark house agenda her mother did. Like...seriously, this plot line is so underused it's frustrating lol.

Not really, this was a long time ago and it all depends on culture. Cousins marrying each other was common in Europe as well, in royal families of course.
Mind you, my take is more from research than first hand knowledge of the religion, but, yes, it is permissible. However, it varies considerably depending on the cultures of the given country or community. Now that knowledge about the genetic implications are more widespread it's a lot more cautioned against.
