  • In this video you'll see the process of me buying an LBZ Duramax. My experience buying an LBZ Duramax from a local dealership was extremely smooth. You will see a bit of what I look for when buying an LBZ Duramax, how to buy an LBZ Duramax from a dealership, and what to look for on the underneath side of an LBZ Duramax when buying a Chevy Silverado from this generation. The price I paid for this truck was amazing for how well it runs and the low of mileage it has. I would love to know your thoughts on my dealership buying experience with this LBZ Duramax.
    Hope you loved that video. If you did, make sure to subscribe and tap the notification bell, hit the like button, and drop a comment as well.

    I found a clean lbz locally today. I went and test drove it and it runs great. 2005 189,000 miles interior is great. Leather interior with Bose sound. All the options. I’m picking it up tomorrow when the bank opens I’m so excited. It’s going to be my first diesel ever. The seller has all the maintenance records as well.

      That's great, but I think that'd be an LLY with a 5 speed rather than an LBZ.
      Best of luck with it though!

  • @Bama_RTMF
    @Bama_RTMF Před 3 lety

    All the rust is one thing, but the main reason it’s cheap is cause it’s not a LT3, most people now days don’t want the no option cloth interior trucks. Everybody wants a LT3 with heated leather and sunroof etc and that’s why those are so much more expensive than the base model or standard LT. either way, mileage alone you got a good score.

    • @AutomotiveMoney
      @AutomotiveMoney  Před 3 lety +1

      Good point! The heated/Leather/Bose situation in a fully loaded truck is nice for sure. Since I'm using it as mainly a work truck and not a luxeliner, I didn't mind.
      You have me thinking about how much a swap may cost from cloth to LT3!
