May 4, 2023-Went back to Moalboal, Cebu as part of my agency's summer getaway. This time, I brought my own action camera, the DJI Osmo Action 3. Really enjoyed playing with the device and I'm very impressed with how the shots turned out.
I love how there are two touchscreen, which allows me to talk to the camera or capture the views. Another fave feature of mine is that it's waterproof for up to 16 meters or 52 feet even without a case. I did test it while freediving as is without any underwater or waterproof case and just look at the underwater clips!
I got the adventure combo, which included a 1.5m selfie stick, a hard case, 3 batteries in a multifunctional battery case (can be used as a powerbank too), and other attachments and accessories. Truly a worthy investment and I can't wait to bring it in my next adventures!

Hi! I've only used the cam underwater during this trip. I did the normal video mode at 1080p 30fps but forgot to turn the scuba mode on. I'll try the scuba mode during my next diving trip in September and share it here :)
Hi Sheila , did you use the waterproof case for your camera or is it not necessary ?
No waterproof case and it's still great up to this day! Case isn't necessary as long as you dont go beyond 16m

Nope! Didn't use accessories except for the ones already in the adventure combo :)
do you use waterproof case? i wanna test it on for free diving, but i still don't trust the device.
Nope! Didn't use a case. Works perfectly up to 16m. Just make sure all the compartments are sealed shut.
So no waterproof case while snorkling and camera still ok?
Yup! Up to 16m. I still use it underwater without a case up to this day :)

Hi! I have the DJI Osmo Action 3, not 4, but it probably can work underwater without a waterproof case too. Just check the specs for the actual depth capacity
