Walking My Cat Ep12: Chantry Wood

Hey Cat Nerds!
So this is Buddy’s first time walking around Chantry Wood. It was a pretty quiet walk, with it being mid-week, but Buddy was still understandably apprehensive with the new scenery. The second half of this walk becomes very open as we walk back through the fields and admire the view of Guildford. I wasn’t expecting Buddy to be walk in the open part of the walk, so I was very impressed when he did! I think our walks are slowly making Buddy more confident! Very happy with how well he did! But of course it all got too much in the open fields and so we put Buddy in his bag so that he could feel safer. And that’s why I always bring a bag! You never know how your cat will react, even if it is a walk they’ve done lots of times before. The bag is their safe zone and they can hide away when they feel a bit scared.
