No matter how good it is right now, the battery is so small that it won't work for a long time anyway. As soon as you open 4-5 things for 1 or 2 hours, the battery would die I think as we all are used to atleast 4000 mAH batteries

I am using iPhone 12 mini. It has 2200 mah battery and retina display. My phone runs through a day with mixed use of WiFi and 4g data.
You can fillup upto 95% of ios storage with app and open all simultaneously. even with iPhone ends with day.

I bought this phone in March this year @ ₹8400. Battery health was at 96% and there was not a single scratch on the phone. I get 5 to 7 hours of screen on time after tweaking some settings. Camera is decent and it also shoots in 4K.

@@King-vk turn on “Reduce motion” feature,
- Reduce “White point” by at least 25% (or upto 50%)
- turn off “background app refresh” for almost all apps
- keep battery level between 30 to 80%.
- turn off notification for all apps except for a few important ones.
- use less widgets (or none)
- turn on manual mail fetching
- enable in-app location services only for important apps

For people planning to actually buy this phone as their ONLY phone for regular use, I would recommend that you DONT.
Sure, the UI is pleasing but one thing that was overlooked in the video was that UPI requires IOS 15 to work (which means you'll HAVE to update to use google pay) which in turn eats up a LOT of battery and there's also heating issues. Also apple cables aren't the best so to speak hence charging becomes a hassle after a while when it starts to not detect the cable because of a wire fault and you have to end up getting a whole new (and somewhat costly) charger just for your iPhone
I don't want to get into the Apple ecosystem. But I would love to have a pixel for a bargain.

I got for 36K for 128GB variant and its running good. Battery health was kinda bummer at 86% but its okay. The phone is also in really good condition with no scratches and dents

I would be happy to buy a refurbished iphone for my parents. As they are compact, reliable, have clean os and the battery would be sufficient for daily tasks. I always wished for a compact android phone in the budget but old iphone is great.
If the price difference is big enough between new and refurbished, I am happy to use a refurbished phone(which mostly is not the case)
These are still phones that can provide a lot of usage, but, the battery backup is a deal breaker. Even the newer SEs are no good, in terms of battery, so, these older iPhones are out of question. It would be interesting to see how the newer ones do in the future when we are at like iPhone 20 or something.
How about battery life? You need to use that phone to actually utilise the "great" camera,powerful chip

I bought a second hand iPhone 7 128gb for 14k in 2021 may, battery health used to suck wouldn't even last 2 hours rest all was working perfectly fine changed the battery used it for 2 months easily without any issue went on some trips with it but after 5 months of usage in October the camera's sensor broke down battery degraded and that was the end of my iphone 7, wasn't a logical decision to spend 14k on the phone later adding 2.5k for the battery and more 2.5k for the camera sensor, cases and tempered glass not included ...
Yes infact i was planning to buy the same for days now. Btw i already used this model for more than 3 years and now I'm looking for an upgrade and hoping to get iphone se 2020 with a better deal but it's really hard to find.
No iOS 16 or 17 on the OG SE 1st gen. That's the catch. Once these phones get unsupported they're basically worthless. The iPhone X currently runs you around $250 on eBay. Now it's unsupported that value is dropping to a mere $80.
It’s 2022 and I still have this phone, iPhone SE first generation. I love it, its very compact.

I bought a refurbished iPhone SE in Jan 2020
64Gb space grey with 100% battery health from 2gud,
Used it till October until i switched to 12 mini.
Trust me i haven’t faced any serious issues while using it, it’s only phone in market with small screen and still does all the jobs.
I bought another SE after 6 months in rose gold and gave it to my sister, this one was even better idk how but only problem was the battery health was 83% which i got replaced by a good third party store in Lko, now that phone was top notch.
SE 1st gen is crazy even today, specially the space grey looks so classy.
I'd want a refurbished iPhone 8 Plus to be my secondary phone. It would be really cool to have the experience yet have the reliability that if anything goes wrong, I'd still have my main phone. I also did suggest my friend buy a refurbished iPhone 7 a couple of years ago, and that phone is still doing well.
I would really like to use a refurbished iPhone as a secondary device ♥️ I still like the compact designs of those old models

Thanks for the video. I got a iphone X from cashify for 22k and it worked out good for me. I know its a old phone but feels so premium in hand and the ios experience at this price is amazing. I dont know if any new phone would compete at this price. Only down side is battery life other than that its a solid buy.

The iPhone SE... It really WAS a great phone back in the day, but I don't recommend anyone to use it as a main phone in 2022 even if its 7k, considering the fact that it will not be supported for iOS 16 and that means that in 2-3 years the phone will become useless, instead one should buy an android at this price point... Overall it can be a fairly usable secondary device or a Jailbreaked Machine.
For the past 2+ years I’m using the OG iPhone SE which I got it for 6K…. Hands down it’s working still awesome. I was having iPhone 6s before the SE but I love the compact size of the OG iPhone SE ❤️.

One missing point - after these points use ur pc 💻 or a mobile repair shop and then check the phone using 3u tool which can tell that any part of the mobile is changed or the display is changed, or the body and many more

My experience with refurbished iphone was not that good. I had to return it on very first day. Please think twice before purchasing don't blindly seeing these reviews or in name of Apple.

I think for people who are using Iphone's right now, it's a good choice to go with a refurbished second iPhone as a backup ....if in case your primary iPhone gets damaged... you can easily head over to your backup refurbished iphone- log in your cloud and still get all your data and contacts etc. by the time your primary device is repaired.

I think old refurbished android phones like redmi note 9, redmi note 9 pro, realme 6i, realme 6 would be better than this by adding 2-3k extra or if you want in the same budget we have options like redmi note 7s, redmi note 7 pro

Battery life is worsh. Our parents can't charge the phone 10 times a day. It would be a bad experience for them. Go with low budget Android...those gives amazing battery life although the performance is not that good.

Only value these old iPhones hold right now is in the camera department as they have a very consistent camera with better low-light performance than 20k brand-new devices, not to mention brilliant video recording requires little to no colour grading, perfect for vlogs as a camera. Just need a powerbank and some external storage as most cheap iPhones are cheap because of less storage

The only thing old iPhones lacks is the good battery. People can compromise screen, camera etc but no battery.
Just imagine a certified cheap battery case(less than 5k) would be incredible
