The Pack and Wand are both powered by Arduino boards (Mega 2560 Rev 3 in the pack and Nano in the Wand). Link to the code, parts list and instructions is coming soon.
This is a longevity and bug testing idle test in 1984 mode. I ran it for 5 hours straight, powered by a 5v TalentCell (12v for the amp/sound), it used very little power. The TalentCell battery percentage status LEDs indicators which show battery life are all still fully lit up (all 5).

Just love the single LED in '84 mode. I wish Hasbro would have done that... would have made the thing nearly perfect out of the box.

First! Love the progress - can't wait to someday give mine the same treatment.

Amazing. Do you still use the original keep alive mod when you first started or is that changed in code?

Hey man are you using a custom board? My pack board isn't working cant start my pack have fresh energizer d batteries in it and nothing turns on. Hasbro says they won't replace the board but have to replace the whole pack. I put alot of work into cosmetic upgrades. I really need a board that will work for the pack? What info you can share to help would be appreciated.

Yes. Powered entirely off a Arduino Mega 2560 Rev 3 in the Proton Pack, and a Arduino Nano in the Neutrona wand. Using 2 wav trigger sound boards, 1 in the pack and 1 in the wand. All the information, instructions, parts lists, code etc will be released soon so you can build your own. I am just waiting for a few of the testers to finish their builds and to test things out. I will put the github page link on the gbfans thread linked in the description here when things are released. It is possible to use it with just the stock Hasbro wand as well (without the extra features)
If you are comfortable with soldering and want to help with testing, send me a message on gbfans. Link is in the description of this video to my thread.
