This is the best animation I've seen from Family Guy to be honest. Like since it's so slow that you really get to chance to appreciate how detailed the animators made it.
Mad respects to the animators for this scene, for context in animation quick(er) movements and sequences require less frames but better timing whilst slow movements (slow mo or just slow) require more frames and this thing is slow even at 2x. They almost don’t even repeat any frames. Poor animators, i take my hat off to you.
For anyone with parents or grandparents getting stuck on furniture. Put a sheet of plywood underneath the cushions. The seat won’t be as cushy with the sheet there but the firmer seating should let them get up a lot easier without worrying about sinking into the cushion.
