Krillin is voiced by Lanipator. One of the founding members, writers, and managers of TFS. He also voices picolo, vegeta, shenron, and Mr. Popo. Keep up the great reactions! Oh yeah, forgot he also voices Master Roshi as well as some various minor characters. He often jokes about how many times in the series where he's just talking to himself.

the toriyama line also references the original dragon ball z opening, Cha la Head Cha la. Where part of the lyrics was: The Earth gets mad from a kick to the face (kick to the face). Making volcanoes erupt in some melting polar ice. If there were a dinosaur inside, I'd want to train it to ride a ball.

Further Lore: Toriyama can also mean bird in japanese and in a theme song of one of his shows a lyric mentions trying to teach a dinosaur to ride a ball tho it is never shown.
Toriyama is Akira Toriyama, naturally. The dinosaur and what it does is a reference to the Head Cha-la song lyrics 'If there was a dinosaur, I'd like to teach it to ride a ball'.
And Klein doesn't need a car. He has access to a dark version of the Flying Nimbus. Anyone can ride it, unlike Goku's Nimbus which requires the rider to be pure of heart, so he can pick up Yajirobe with no problem.

Popos drug scene in this episode had me cracking up the first time I saw it. I've seen it so many times now, I dont laugh, but it still puts a smile on my face. Lol.
In the song "Cha la head cha la", it talks about Akira Toriyama finding a dinosaur in an iceberg and then training it to ride a ball. So that's what that joke was referencing.
The song doesn’t specifically talk about Toriyama. The bird’s name is a play off of how Toriyama can be separated into Tori(bird) and Yama(mountain). Coincidentally, all of bird Toriyama’s appearances are when the characters are close to mountains.

The bird Toriyama is from a DBZA movie they did before this episode- it’s why it’s recommended to watch DBZA in the order it came out. In the Revenge or Cooler movie, Goku brings a bird back to life, says he’ll call him Toriyama, and asks it to train a dinosaur to ride a ball. Hence 16’s “I’d like to meet your dinosaur, it does what?!”
The toryama joke is from their abridged version of the first cooler movie. Goku brings a bird back to life names it toryama and tells it to go teach a dinosaur to ride a ball.

This isn't really confirmed, but I'm absolutely certain that the reason the cyborgs are stronger now is because they haven't had any upkeep in the future. Since they're machines, they're bound to lose effectiveness after a while.
I think in the original Trunks mentions something about him time traveling causing small unforeseen changes which may have caused them to be stronger

Looking at the tile floor on all that LSD would make Popo see circles out of all those squares. This will be important later.
Something that Abridged kinda skips over is this was a big moment for Trunks' story arc. Vegeta's fight actually goes a lot better than he thought, despite the fact they still lost. It's the first step he takes in imagining that he could actually fight them on his own and moving past that insecurity.
