It is simply positioned much too high. I would prefer watching at the middle in a normal sitting position.
Agreed, his eye level is in the bottom 20% of the screen. He has to tilt back his head at least 60% of the content. Neck strain is assured.
My 50 inch sits barely higher than my keyboard. The top of the screen is still too high for desktop use..
i was looking for this exactly video! im thinking of buying an oled c1 55" , the price of the smaller sizes dont make any sense. So im glad that what i thought would be the problem end up as your conclusion. Most pc desks are 60cm or 70cm deep, now im looking for a diner desk 😂 with at least 90cm deep.Thank you
this Philips Momentum 55 VS LG 48" C1 OLED which is better?
I need the Big Monitor for my PC. i am still researching !!! need your Help ^.^
This is a great vid. Thank you very much, Sir
Haahaahahah é evidente seu sotaque pai! Tô querendo pegar uma c1 55 pra gaming ps5 e monitor com o mac, bom video!
Did you end up going back to a smaller monitor eventually? Ive been on smaller monitors for a while and my TV that I use specifcally just for watching broke down. It got me thinking if I should try out a high refresh rate TV for both watching/productivity. The 2 models I've come down to looking at the LG C2 which is so hard to find in my area for cheap, and the Samsung s90c which everyone says is best bang for buck. Based on your review I may go down to a 48 inch instead of 55inches. I can't sit 90cm away from my monitor.
Id suggest you to buy a 42 inch tv if you plan to sit below 90cm. Im using a 55inch lg c3 at 150cm distance
Seeing it this close to you and raised on a shelf must have made it much worse… lol . I have a custom nearly 2m deep desk… I think will make it awesome.
I was trying to use a huge monitor in a small desk like this but my problem was the screen were too bright even tho i bring the brightness to lowest. Do you have any tips to dim the screen more?
you can use software
This monitor have anti glare ? or non glare.panel?
what desk is that?
Wow, for that price, I'd go with the LG 55C16 instead and save 250€. Better TV, thinner (sticks out less from the wall) and more accurate colours. Yeah, maybe something for people who have to have a soundbar and ambilight. I can go without and rather use Sony or Bose Bluetooth headset with ANC through the TV. Same input delay for gaming, so good there.
Hi, havent used the LG. I have 2x 27" LG Displays and they are great but havent used the 55C16. Ill be comparing this with the Asus and my Dell. Always learning and the joy is the jorney.
Thanks 👍
Do you recommend me to buy it
i actually want to know what desk are you using? I am trying to find a nice L shape computer desk
43 inch is the best dimension for a monitor but there not yet good panels out there
I'm gonna need a link to that desk tho.
Hi Roberto. I really enjoy your reviews and your nice, soothing voice, but I find the background music distracting. Maybe there's a good reason for adding a background track, but may I suggest a Community Poll asking if your viewers like having the background track. Poll options could be Like, Don't like, and Don't care.
All the best. Thanks.
Hi Colin, in the past i did not use music on the background but the feedback was not as good. So im not sure if i will remove or leave in the future but i do appreciate your feedback!! 😉 Thanks Colin 👍
@@RobertoJorgeTech Thanks for the reply. It's interesting to hear that people like the background music. It could be that my ears aren't so sensitive, so I can't really hear much of a tune, I just know there's something in the background. Good to know there's a good reason to keep it in, though.
Keep up the good work. Must be nice to have so many nice toys 🙂
your tv is too high compared too you. look at your neck position in this video. you are bending your neck too much.
What’s the name of the monitor
bro Hisense makes their u7h up to 144hz at 4k and 240hz at 240 hz 12bit hdr you cant get much better from a monitor unless you get 165 hz 4k 240hz but they allot smaller and way to expensive vs 500 for the Hisense
you need to sit at least 4' away from the screen. Your eye needs to be at the same level as top frame of the tv or close. The goal is to minimize head movement to see all 4 corners. Used to have 65" and i sat 6 feet away with my KB and Mouse.
I disagree. With my 55" I sit extremely comfortable leaning in and out from 32"-36". I also use a mount to adjust the height, and prefer my eyes just slighting above the center of the display.
Naw you wrong.
I have a 48" c1 oled that replaced my ultrawide 34". It took me some time to get used to it but I can't go back now 😂
this Philips Momentum 55 VS LG 48" C1 OLED which is better?
I need the Big Monitor for my PC. i am still researching !!! need your Help ^.^
@@playbunny99 get the c1 man. 55" is too big for a monitor! 48" is big enough for immersion.
what’s is your desk deep
That is a beautiful monitor wow huge great video my friend keep up the great work you do God bless you and your family always 🙏 😊
Hey Jose, thanks 👍
thank-you for your in-depth look at Productivity of this monitor. Truly, thanks. I have low vision and a lazy eye, so now that monitors are able to get so large is great for me. Thanks for the mention of the ppi; something to keep in mind.
Youre one of the rare individuals that look better older
Look up Microsoft power toys to split your monitor easily
You could lower its position by 30cm…
This monitor ppi is same as 1080p monitor so why should you waste money?
why you have so many monitors
Anything over a 43 inch is too large as a desk TV.
Big screen= big eye strain
Put monitor night mode and the strain dissapears.
hahahaha nice RJ
👍
You've put the monitor too high for a desktop view, it's quite obvious it needs to be lower to have a neutral head position. Also I don't know where you're from maybe it's normal in your country but butting your shoes on the desk is quite disgusting in civilized cultures
like Bush and Obama? :P But who even wears shoes at their desk at home? I'll put my socks up on it no problem
People are gross
Before I used a 40" LG 4K TV it was awesome but since it was a 2015 model it had only 60Hz.....replaced it in 2021 with 49" Samsung G9 240Hz Super Ultrawide for Shooter Games it is the BEST and for Work other than that is TRASH.....2023 switched to 55" 4K TV 144Hz it is awesome but the problem on all the TV's is that the image is too zoomed in especially in games ......CRAP we will never get the perfect one... Also for the pixels.....the muthafuckers don't want to produce bigger screens with more PPI that's why the ideal size is maximum 48" for a TV to use as a monitor because you want bigger screen but not to compromise on the image quality.......55" is the MAXIMUM at EXTREMES you can get.
