As a teen, my dad and I would dig trenches for water pipes and he would be down there with the digging bar breaking up the rock while I dug it out behind him. Our backhoe was one of those old monsters and had super loose joysticks so it would jerk like crazy causing the whole thing to rock violently back and forth as you tried to dig. How I didn’t kill him I’ll never know
