Thank you for this comment. I agree it's all looking the same. I think it's mostly all Target stuff (no shade.... you know I love me some Target). But, everyone is decorating with the same items from there and it just loses its charm. There is nothing special or unique. I am purging most all of my Target items and really being intentional about pieces now a days. I have been loving antique shopping. I have a new found appreciation for it now. Your last point of buying what you love is one of the best pieces of advice ever. It’s something I say all of the time. There are times I buy things not knowing where I am going to put them simply because I love them. In the end I always make it work. Your home should make you happy and be a reflection of you. While I admire people’s decor, I try to never do the copy and paste thing that we see all over social media. Great video and fun advice!☺️

Hannah, yes this is great guidance for those of us who are really searching for our style or where to start. I found myself running to target for the latest Studio McGee release but then a few weeks later I was selling it on marketplace for a lot cheaper than I purchased it for because everyone else had it in their homes or painting it to try to make it look different. I discovered Antique shops and purchase a few things at a time, and I truly LOVE those pieces. They are made to last and unique to me. I always find visitors asking where I purchased a particular item. They're really surprised to learn it's vintage and hard to find. Thank you for this video. Time to take a look around my space and see how I can improve it. Smiles

I too caught myself buying things from Target and now have been selling everything from there on my Poshmark. Unique home decor items are what I have been personally striving to find more of. What a blessing that your mom is a pro photographer, and what a brlliant idea to turn a photo album into a classy coffee table book. 100 kudos on that!!! All great points here. A few years ago, I stopped doing several of the items you covered here. My biggest decor regret is that I didn't have better taste years ago, lol.
Dont know if im the only one that ran top the kitchen to take some things off the counter lol. I agree 100% on every single point! I totally agree that if you love something then by all means incorporate it into your home. But, why feel the need to keep every kitchen appliance on your countertops? When we have to blow the dust off the blender we haven’t used since last summers family reunion when we heard Aunt Trudy has never had a strawberry daiquiri in her life, its probably ok to store it away. 😜 Thank you for helping us understand depth, texture & curating our space to make our houses our “homes”. I personally, have taken many tips, suggestions & ideas from you & incorporated them into my space! I am grateful for your knowledge & talent & for sharing them with us! 😍

I appreciate how you curate you home decor over time versus rushing to the next decor release, your purchases seem intentional and most decor can be used year round even the seasonal items. ❤

I agree that social media promotes trends with too much of the same thing (I.e faux flowers in textured vases, coffee table books, black-framed pics on walls, mirrors, tall candle holders/sticks, cutting boards in the kitchen, etc). No one seems to have individual style anymore.

I'm pretty new to your channel. You have a very pleasant voice. I so agree about the clutter on the kitchen counters. I cleaned mine up about two years ago and it makes such a difference. The photo books are also a great idea. I'm in my 60's and realize I have a lot of pictures I don't really care about anymore. I'm going to curate my whole big bin and just keep the meaningful ones and make several of those books. They would make great coffee table books. I went through your Instagram account - your girls are just adorable!!

We get heavily influenced by Instagram & CZcams influencers not only because we see them every day but also because it looks beautiful, but the truth is that those “scenes” are VERY REPETIVE, something that I absolutely love about YOU is that in every single video, you empathize the idea of making your home a showcase of your own personality and lifestyle.
Regardless of what’s trendy, you show how to build a curated collection that makes our home aesthetically pleasing and intentional for different styles and budge. This differentiates you as a creator.
I don’t need to look at the handler when scrolling through Instagram I see you and your unique style immediately.
I dont implement everything you do but I use ALL your ideas your styling and dynamic when I plan for my house.

Fabulous video as always! Phew ..... not guilty of everything 😏, but I'm never going to win the war with Hubby and his enormous TV's .... however he doesn't complain about my decorating and constantly changing things, so we compromise. I live with his TV's and just decorate to distract attention where I can 😂. Before your video went live, I moved and put away some family photos that were cluttering and not bringing me joy. I reduced the amount to 3 photos, and reframed them to co-ordinate - looks much better. I'm in agreement with you about being authentic to yourself and not copying others. I adore your home and styling (especially horses ❤ and crystals ❤), but our homes are very different. I take elements of your ideas and work them into my decor where I can, and I love mixing old with new. You're such an inspiration to us Hannah - never stop please. I was recently just thinking the very point you made of so many photos and reels looking exactly the same. When I find an idea I like I try to use it but in my own way. However I must admit I am so jealous that my condo kitchen will never have room to accomodate an island, I just love they way that great feature can be styled up. 💕

I have to add , I am slowly learning of tho king got to have that vase or planter or art piece .. I fell for those and truly trends come and go .. now I’m trying to use things I have and repurpose them into different rooms around my house . I even do some DIY with glass vases making them look vintage candy aged and the best part no one else would have it.. it’s unique to me. And everyone’s home is different with a different style , so I try to have decor that is in the style of my home .. looking forward to your next video ! ❤

Just love your videos….yes please do a coffee table video and skincare. I have a question, when you did your video on styling a media console your suggestions were great but what would you do if you have a sound bar in the middle that sits on the console💗
Hi!!! Thank you for the love and comment. I can do an updated coffee table styling video. As far as your question goes, I would then ignore the center of your media console and just style both sides around it. There is no way around something like that, so we just have to embrace what it is.

To answer your question. It does. It’s more of an earthy smell vs. sweet if that makes sense. So, if you’re not into an earthy smell…. Probably not the best option. I know they come in different colored exterior checkered if you can do any of the other colors!?!

A home isn’t a home without our baby photos. I replaced my god sons pic from 18 months old to his med school graduation photo 🩺. A home wouldn’t be the same without those memories.

This was good and on point, the cluttered kitchen is really key because I find that now that I've gotten older it is truly more relaxing to have a clutter free not only kitchen but home in general it makes me enjoy going in the kitchen to do whatever even fixing a hot cup of tea . And yes the overdone themes give a cheap look in my opinion im so over looking at everyone's home look the same it is true and I tend to scroll pass that because I cant learn elevation on those stuck on the big box copy catting RESPECTFULLY SAID 😊

Maybe I didn’t loved any of the pieces this time around and I can tell myself that’s ok. I do t need to be constantly buying the new stuff. I have a gallery wall in my living room of cherished family moments and all of our guests love it too. BTW, you were the first social media content creator to get me to buy a bundle from Brooklinen…and I’ve seen a TON of their ads everywhere. Looking forward to receiving my set!
Hi!!!! Yeah, I never understood why someone would deter people from showcasing special moments in THEIR house??? I do think it can be over done... hence why I wanted to make a point of it. However, I think everyone should showcase a little personality in their space. I think it adds so much life and showcases memories!!! I love mine!

Personally I wouldn't. But I think it all depends on the space and the overall design. Like I preach here.... if YOU love it... that is all that matters! Who's to say you can't make a C table work as a nightstand????? ❤️

Hi !!!! Honestly, I just use my Casa Luna comforter as an insert. I didn't feel the need to go buy something special for it. It works perfect. Otherwise, check out Target for nice affordable inserts!!!!
Its good to get ideas from videos but not run out and buy the same thing. Im sick of seeing the same books with the same pot on top. The idea is great with a book of your own interest and a pot you love.
