    You should always remove your fill plug before your drain plug in case you can’t get the fill plug out then you’ll be screwed with a stripped plug and no oil lol

      That's solid advice, thanks for the comment!

    you need to update your capacity listing. My GEN 3 4in portal are at max 1/4 qt per box, not the 1/2qt you suggest.

      Thanks! Makes me feel better about my 4's because they only took maybe 1/4

    The 4" has a 1/2 quart capacity and the 6" is half that? Strange.

    Can you clarify, at 1:23, you're saying the larger boxes use less oil? 1/2q for 4", 1/4q for 6"?

    • @SuperATVMedia
      @SuperATVMedia  Před 5 lety +5

      Yes that is correct, it is because of the design of the portal boxes. The 6" has a narrower box with larger gears inside along with the fill plug and drain plug in a different location.

    How are portals running on roads? I use my sxs at the lake during summer running back roads and down to my boat dock usually running less than 30mph. Then the fall and winter I’ll use it off-road in trails etc

    • @SuperATVMedia
      @SuperATVMedia  Před rokem +1

      They run pretty well on roads. They aren't made for high speeds, but they can run at higher speeds without issue providing they are properly maintained with the correct oil to keep the gears cool.

    What I want to know is, which portals did you guys bolt to the CF Moto on your website? I see the portals in the pictures of the control arms. I want a set for my ZForce but I don't see them listed for it. Even if I had to do a little modification that is fine with me.
