  • The Ontario police officer who found a toddler “alive and well” after the child was lost in the woods north of Kingston, Ont., for more than 72 hours is telling the nearly miraculous story of his recovery.
“That’s the best day I’ve had in the OPP in 25 years,” said provincial Const. Scott McNames, who found three-year-old Jude Leyton in the woods of South Frontenac, Ont., Wednesday just after 3 p.m.
He was taken to Kingston General Hospital by Frontenac Paramedics Wednesday, and remains there in stable condition. The hospital says he’s expected to recover.
The toddler went missing Sunday before noon. OPP believe he wandered away from his grandfather’s rural retreat property, which sits off of Canoe Lake Road.
Abigail Bimman describes the desperate search for the three-year-old, who found him and what likely saved his life.

@@austindobbins8957 fun fact about spacesuits they are mostly designed to keep people cool, a hard vacuum is an extreme insulator so your suit is designed to keep you cool. Also wool outperforms most commercially viable fibers probably because it's a product of several billions of years of natural selection whereas synthetic fibers are mostly less than 100 years old and designed mostly for ease of manufacture and cost. Plant fibers are another story, all this to say animal rights are a separate issue from performance.

Since God loves us He has made a way to be forgiven of our sins and to enter heaven. And not suffer the eternal agony of hell. He sent His beloved Son, Christ Jesus to die a horrible, agonizing death on a cross. As an atonement, for all the sin each of us has committed in our lives. But this gift of forgiveness in not automatic. You must receive His Son Jesus as your Lord and Savior to be forgiven. Be wise my friend and seek Him while there is still time. In His word the Bible and in a Christian Church. We are rapidly approaching the end of this age. The time for all is short. May God bless you as you seek Him....

What an absolutely amazing story, I can’t imagine the relief Judes family must have felt. I cannot believe such a little guy was able to survive that long! The grandfather was right this is exactly the kind of inspiring story that people around the world need right now!! So glad Jude is safe and on the mend, excellent job to the officers and searchers! I bet you will see the grand father abducted the child for either 1) to teach the parents a lesson on watching the kid or 2) changed his mind and backed out. shifting of back and forth, 3 days missing, only 1 km away., an already searched area, etc etc etc

Yes, I noticed. There's a hair clip and long hair so either it's a biological girl the parents are trying to turn into a boy or it's a biological boy they are dressing up as a girl. Seeing that makes me wonder the mental & physical abuse the child is going through with their abusive parents rejecting a child's God given gender & projecting their own identity onto the child. Poor kid.
