For the first time in a long time i agree with prohet Makandiwa.Iam one of those people who had stopped attending church services because the church we have today is not the church i know.Its chaos,popularity contest,showing off,egos etc.

But surely when many people were saying that the prophecies which were churned out were not helpful to the Christian faith, the same leaders was not burging - such voices were construed as evil's codes. Many years later this is being said from the pulpit.... Even still people are praising prophets more than God, being called "Mwari wa..." Many followers have become incompatible with their co-workers, relatives, spouses, some losing their jobs because they carried this shadow of supremacy and untouchable being derived from association with a prophet, and became too big headed and pompous about life and spiritual height they believed to have attained. Who will restore the faith of all those who then lost hope and faith after coming off the spiritual crests and those who see the spiritual leaders acting like politicians and begin to think that churches are no longer serious. The gospel of prosperiry was all packaged under prophecies as a big bait. With more people having realised that they are not getting any prosperity even after heavy seeding, who is going to call back all those strayed sheep to the house of the Lord. I am a sinner who does not qualify to speak about the heavenly kingdom but l believe God needs something better and representation. May God forgive me.

True what the man is saying, but he is exactly doing what he is condemning, some prophecies are sensitive, prophets come differently, Amos ,Joel , Daniel and other prophets would prophecy differently, now adhering to what Dr Ian Ndlovu said

Mr. Makandiwa,you engage in similar practices as those prophets, it is worth noting that the internet has an exceptional memory that will ensure the past actions are never forgotten.
God's desire is we are edified that's why he gave us these gifts in ministry for believers to grow. Paul one of the greatest apostles you find him praying for spiritual maturity and growing in the light which is Christ Eph 17-19. 1 Cor 14:22 says that prophecy is proof for believers, miracles are proof of the message taught Mark 16:19; Heb 2:4 in the body of Christ and God did not raise ministers for them to prove that God exists all the time bcz that is not food for the church. The word is the food, the bread which grows the church that is the emphasis here. John 6:26 people seek after what fulfills their hunger which is the bread, which is Christ, which is the word and is the light so I don't see how Makandiwa is wrong here.
