Fears that many say that the car's safety system interferes with driving.
Did it come as a nuisance?
Jeez you made that river crossing look harder than it should have been. Give this man a logie
“Nerve racking”
Here is some interesting news for offroad fans.
"Isuzu has included a prefabricated pathway in the internal wheelhouse panel for the easy fitment of aftermarket snorkels,
and the standard diff breathers are equipped with extension tubes."
the best reporter i have listen to, all his reviews are excellent, well done
Very, very nice film about new d-max.👍👍👍
Can't wait to get behind the wheel. Massive improvement on old model. Looks the goods also
Excellent review sir, you covered everything about this pick up truck specially the off foad capabilities such as the rear differential lock.
9:13 It feels vague. 9:22 It doesn’t feel vague.
Make up your mind 😩
100% was thinking the same makes me think all these tests are bull shit.
Fake news 🤦♂️🤣🤣
Quality video fella. Waiting for my August delivery in the UK.
This d max win my heat ,win my eyes. I love ,l even dream it
Love these type of no nonsense off road reviews! 👍👍👍
Good job guys looking forward for the off road comparison review 😊
Great stuff, lots of technical points.
The scenes your shooting the video at its very beautiful
Beautiful bakkie/ute can't wait to drive it one day 🙏🏿
along with me in about 15 years time when there affordable haha
This is where my money is going. I want I want I want 😍
I noticed though that the tires look like road tires straight from the dealer which isn’t bad but ATs are a must have here in Zimbabwe! Also not a big fan of those 18” rims but an after market set with the ATs will deal with that.
Well done isuzu
Love the firearm storage behind and under the rear bench seat!
Genuinely surprised there's not more likes lol
Me too
Amazing, it does all those Ute things great. Would prefer this over the new Hilux for sure
Very impressed, plus isuzu engines are known for running forever
The steering feels vague but it doesn’t feel vague.
Diff locker button😎😎that is the beast right there
The tailgate doesn't lock with central locking?
Strange omission considering the 20 year old Musso utes even had that
Cracking ute though. Great effort with thoughtful improvements
I love this Isuzu 2021
I love the Isuzu Dmax - although I am huge toyota guy- We have one in our office with over 900K - Still works like it should...
Holy shit!
@@dushyantx Ya buddy - the one we have the office drives a lot - and the truck is only 6.5 years old... and I think it will cross I million mid of 2021... Its crazy -
What model year is that?
@@aecs.constn 2009 or 2010
I know plenty hiluxs with high kays , but the money thrown at them to get them there 🤔, my first D Max got there with way less hassles or dollars .
Hermosa Camioneta!!!
WTH.....In-Depth...Off-What....review...really amazing....
Adding to it's aggressive look, are the headlights. The DRLS in the headlights, give the fascia of a similar mean look, that reminds those of us who remember the "BAD BOY" decals we would stick on our rear windshields in the late 80's to mid 90's. Along with it's double fanged grill, it makes for one tough looking truck. In fact, that BAD BOY decal could be revived as a fitting body decal graphic for the top spec model. It has my vote...
I would definitely get one if I was looking to get a Ute.
Man , i freakin love it
Hahaa great review. The presenter is 👌🏽. The Isuzu ute is definitely the best looking of the bunch.
Be interesting to see the reliability of the new engine compared to the old 4jj1.
@caradvice does the steering feel vague or not???
Good review , you’ve covered practically everything- thanks
It has only just caught up on everything every other ute has for the past 5/6 years, the only thing the dmax had was reliability.
Just remember he is reviewing the top model 60k worth of it on the top end so what is the vehicle like at the low end with none of the extras also if i was going to get that i would ditch the sports bar and roll top and buy a canopy you can shove more in for camping its not centural locking aneway.
Beautiful pickup truck
ii love this color
The rear seat can flip down really a plus for me..
Hi guys, excellent review but one thing when Isuzu dmax release in India ?
I love it.
Duel pop out cup holders...........I'm sold
Great truck
Who else hates all the plastic they put on these "extreme" off-road models
This is the extreme on-road model for managers who are looking for 100% tax claim over a passenger car. The extreme off-road models will emerge when owners modify them.
yeah better off buying a stock one and modding it yourself
Best looking in it’s class
Good review bro 👍
Killer look
Hey, i would like to see comparison between Dmax and Hilux. But that both are the top of range. Please!! Who say the same?
does the interior of the brown/orange car come without that bit of brown leather now? the Thai presentation car still had two colour interior
Love to see this model in india
Yeah mate, D-max for me too
This d max it got safety more space it perfect for ME like it
Storage under the backseat is a win
As all ways so much left out what’s gvm gym how much can it carry while towing
Good review, good to watch but i cant afford it.. looks like you guys were in turon river area..nice place, i was crossing that river with my nissan xtrail t30 .
No forward facing camera to see on the screen to pick your line?
Great review. Very informative showing pros and cons. Really found the info re: torque range useful as didn’t know higher NW doesn’t always mean more power through gear range. Like that it has relaxed acceleration. Can’t wait to test drive.
Thanks Carl!
torque times revs equals power
They went to all that trouble and they couldn't even make the rear tailgate lock via the central locking sheesh. Just typical of Isuzu.
My Colorado has a tailgate central lock for crying out loud and it's not fancy either.
hope for bigger headlights...
I bought it already in thailand. But adaptive safety function it not same which Australia model.
Imagine car 3000cc...i,m mechanix on drill nicel area sorowako-indonesia and many unit from isuzu 4jk,4jj double cabeen,MUX isuzu,..toyota hilux, daihatsu hilen, ford ranger, mitsubishi triton
Single cab isuzu...all of those car...isuzu d-max 3000cc series number engine 4JJ the best...of all...power,durability and very good for mud away and exploration way on forest...👍👍👍

Awesome
I see some trucks do like what chevy avalanche always does
ที่เมืองไทยยอดขายดีมากครับดีแม็ก
Has it got a center diff????? Major short coming if not!
dmax. hands down.
nice car
would like to see it tested on the beach on deep soft sand
watch the 4x4 24/7 youtube channel and search for d-max ;)
May l test d max
If the dealership network improves where I am from, I might switch from Hilux to this!
I was surprised at the poor response from the traction control. I have a 2012 Toyota and the Atrac on that is excellent. It’s odd that Isuzu would put out a brand new 4wd with such a bad system.
If he had just used a little bit of brake pedal to stop the front spinning he would have been out of there in the next 5 seconds without the diff lock. I'm guessing he wanted to emphasise "oh no.. I'm stuck" That' all the other systems do, sends more brakes to that corner to send power the opposite side.
Sorry to disappoint Sam but the guys at 4WD 24/7 have said it, the Strada(Triton) is the better all-round off-roader among the bunch. Time to accept that the Hilux is quite overrated already when it comes to off-road capability and overshadows how the Mitsubishi Strada can already outshine the Hilux.
I have one. Put 45 mm lift and bigger better wheels and tyres straight away.It needed it.
Does anyone know where they were at 5:19? Place looked awesome
Wolgan valley, NSW
@@Drivecomau thankyou !
“Better traction control”....that’s all I here but what I see is the same constant wheel spin. In what way is it better?
Is the front traction control active when the diff lock is on?
No, the diff lock turns off all traction control when engaged.
Seems reasonably common, the navaras traction control continues to work with rear diff lock engaged
Good video. Just a bit low light. Brighten things up Throw more light
I observe d max now l want to experience
Can you drive with the tray roller open? I sometimes have to carry taller items, but would like a secure cover for usual days
Yes, if you look our gear was too big to have the shutter closed during our trip.
@@Drivecomau amazing! Thank you 😊
Isuzu mux 2021 ?
LoL..I go through water higher than my bonnet in my old LandCruiser..
Do u have a snorkel?
@@vevohoeyo yep
Either take the running boards off or get them torn off the first time off road.
Top ranch and there is blanks buttons.
So, orange is the new grey🙃
ISUZU D-MAX🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Drive position is to close to the steering wheel.
Put the seat back maybe?
Rims were designed in a state of the art kindy
He says mostly waterproof what the F does that mean like on saturdays your gear is waterproof but Monday it isn’t ?
(FC.ISUZU)
Lucky you didn't get booked for the unsecured load in the back
Bloke said ‘ford ranger up there’ keep dreaming.
4:19 ‘Mostly’
18 inch wheels. What a joke and mostly water proof? Yeh right
I test drove the same model and it is a very nice unit but found the update hilux had better power delivery and ride on road felt more refined. The tail gate and roller cover not looking with central and two different keys is very annoying, if the hilux was released that way all the experts would have been whinging like nobody’s business and no volume knobs the experts were whinging about that on the hilux for years
While I do like this ute, CarAdvice is a joke these days. Just regurgitating the PR crap of the manufacturers 99% of the time...
Absolutely spot on.
Get the keys out to lock the roller shutter. mmm
Not just the shutter.
It's the only way to lock the tailgate...
Not exactly a fan.
Not hard to fit a solenoid to take care of that.
Im more interest about the location you filmed at.
Blue Mountains - I’d say western side tending closer to Hartley, Lithgow etc.
Bloody hell, I bought old model last year, I wish I’d waited. I made the same mistake back in the nineties and you have wait for ages for these things to wear out and by that time they’re really out dated.
Even old model is super can do mods is a monster I still miss my 2.5 dmax I sold last year
Trade it in mate
Luke Matei it’s tempting.
@@Cooliemasteroz Unless you're unhappy with it, there's nothing at all wrong with the older model. If you wanted the best diesel motor out of all dual cabs, you bought the Isuzu.
Jeremy yes I know I’m sort of joking, I’ve actually got a 2WD single cab chassis, it would be nice to to have a little more torque and at lower revs but one of the attractions to what I bought other than the engine was the basic dashboard with few electronics to go wrong years down the track as I intend to keep it for a long time.
❤
Look more like Holden Colorado 😂
