    Adding to it's aggressive look, are the headlights. The DRLS in the headlights, give the fascia of a similar mean look, that reminds those of us who remember the "BAD BOY" decals we would stick on our rear windshields in the late 80's to mid 90's. Along with it's double fanged grill, it makes for one tough looking truck. In fact, that BAD BOY decal could be revived as a fitting body decal graphic for the top spec model. It has my vote...

    I recently drove a demo and was very impressed straight off. The thing that impressed me the most is its turning circle, the dam thing just turned right back on it self and I faced the opposite way end for end so effortlessly. That really got me.
    I have weigh up a few more things before I buy one. A space cab would be ideal.

    So many things wrong in this video.. it isn't a carry over motor, many upgrades have been made hence the name change for the motor. And drum brakes in the rear are standard in the dual cab market and are much better than disk brakes in many regards, greater stopping power and much better under load.. a little more research required before making comments about things like that would be a good idea.

    I think the drum brakes on the rear are fine especially on a 4x4.
    The problem with disc brake rear ends is the need to have a separate handbrake drum which is usually smaller than a traditional drum brake rear, 79 series Landcruisers and BA Falcons have this idea. (BA Falcon park brakes were next to useless.)
    Some vehicles have a tailshaft park brake drum which were totally annoying, springing back and forth after they were applied.
    Disc brake park brakes using the calliper as the parking brake can be less effective.
    So Drums are proven for over 60 years and perform just fine.

    • @ProductReviewCars
      @ProductReviewCars  Před 2 lety

      Totally think drums are okay. However braking tech has advanced enough that for close to $70K, I think you should expect an upgrade from drums.

    I find the instrument cluster should have been better because it does look old despite being brand new but it's ok I guess. Also I think I heard you say one has to be in park to engage 4low, don't know if I heard you correctly though. Great video non the less, the dmax is a cracking vehicle

    • @ProductReviewCars

    Good review but you are going to wind up your drive shafts if you use 4L on a track that should be 2H. With a fixed centre diff you really need more slippery conditions.That vehicle will walk that track in 2H.

    followers, anyone who has bought a new ISUZU through a GM agency should
    start praying to God, the chance of receiving a fast and mechanically
    correct service, would be faster to receive from God. Be warned not to

    get screwed and eat shit.
