Jade was being mean from the start by making Tori improvise as a dog and then pouring ice coffee on her. In my opinion, Tori can be annoying at times but Jade was mean towards Tori from the start.

i think she always bullied her cuz she was afraid that her bf left her for tori, in the first episode she kissed him, and when they broke up they we’re about to kiss and date. so the only way she could prove she was stronger was by pushing tori away by bullying her. in the episode where tori and jade went on a “date”, u can see jade being nice to tori, (by giving her compliments) u can see it’s quite hard for her even tho she knows tori is talented and pretty. now i personally ship them. but i’ll explain y if someone wants to know 😂

For those of you saying “Tori started it by flirting with Beck in the first episode”, I hope you realize that Tori was new to the school and that was her very first encounter with Beck. When she asked Beck to kiss her in the first episode, it was BECK’S responsibility to say NO, because he was in a relationship. And let’s not forget Jade literally spilled COFFEE on Tori in front of the whole class!! Hell, if someone did that to me I’d do MORE than just kiss their boyfriend. Id be FUMING, as anyone else would if this was real. For those of you saying Tori was a horrible person to Jade, let me summarize a few key events that some people seem to forget. • Tori refused to kiss Beck EVEN after he ended things with Jade. Why? Because even though she liked him, she couldn’t do that to a friend. Before this, Jade literally STOLE her role at the Platinum Music Awards. And she still had the decency to be loyal to Jade even after this happened. • Tori found a woman who would willfully pay for Jade’s play, even after she was nasty to her in the first scene. When the woman wanted to change things in her play, Tori even helped arrange it in the end so Jade could still have it the way she wanted. • After Jade faked the whole “bloody eye” thing, Tori STILL took the blame for Jade so she wouldn’t get in trouble. I sure as hell know I wouldn’t be that nice to someone who tried to ruin my reputation in front of my whole school. • When Tori and her friends all got sent to prison during their trip to Yerba, Jade wouldn’t stop intimidating a strong prisoner. She shoved Jade to the ground and if Tori didn’t step in and stop the fight, Jade probably would’ve gotten beaten up for that. And then she STILL had the audacity to say she didn’t need Tori’s help. Like... what? Keep in mind, these are only a FEW highlights of her kindness towards Jade, despite her literally being a ruthless bully. Don’t get me wrong, I know Tori wasn’t the perfect character. But literally ALL of the characters have done at least ONE wrongdoing in the show, so bashing Tori for some of the things she did in the show is just unfair and really shows what kind of a person you are. I’m done here.

Toris character was written badly though but it’s not Victoria’s fault at all she just acted the way they wrote it. Victoria can sing well it’s just she doesn’t have a wide range and the staff knows it that’s why they prepared songs which are compatible with her range. The songs were written so she doesn’t have to sing in a higher range and strain her voice.
All you bandwagoning Tori's haters in the comment section should watch the whole show and not just some episodes. Tori helped Jade get back with Beck, she helped her get 1000 bucks to make her play, she was always nice to her and wanted to be friends with her asking for hugs, she turned down Beck because she didn't want to hurt Jade even though they had broke up... How about all these things?. And Tori didn't know that Jade had planned her play the same day of her prom, and Tori and Beck's kiss was just a stage kiss Tori did as a payback for Jade pouring coffee on her head during her first day of school. And beck could have also pulled away but he didn't. Also when Beck tried to kiss her for real to be with Tori after breaking up with Jade in Tori goes Platinum Tori refused cause she wanted to be a loyal friend to Jade despite Jade not even considering her a real friend.

People don’t understand how voices work. There is a good reason Tori was the star of the show and not Cat or Jade. If you studied music or have been in Choir you’d understand that Tori’s voice is superior to both Cat’s and Jade’s voice ranges. I wouldn’t bother paying attention to any comments on here. I’m pretty sure they don’t know a thing or two about singing. They probably read some things on the internet or just think just because Cat’s voice can go high and Jade’s voice is great in the low...that they’re better singers. Just ignore them.

Story time: so before I even knew about the show, I saw a video called " Why is Tori the worst character" After that I saw more victorious videos trying to convince me to hate Tori. At this point i was like " Tori is the worsttt" without even watching the show. I'm not defending everything that she did, but I am defending the unfortunate mistakes she made, especially when every character has their own flaws. The main reason as to why it's centered on Tori is because she's the main character. The main character is typically set to be a terrific influence on how to deal with real life scenarios, whether it involves jealousy, rivalry, empathy, etc. Instead of acknowledging the obstacles she's overcome, people take the time to despise every bone in her body.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Jade and still LOVE Liz Gillies as a person. But the people in the comments saying Tori DESERVED all the bullying?! Whaaat? Let me set a few things straight.
For those of you saying “Tori started it by flirting with Beck in the first episode”, I hope you realize that Tori was new to the school and that was her very first encounter with Beck. Of course she’s not going to know he has a girlfriend! She hadn’t even met Jade yet. Besides, she was just trying to rub the coffee out of Beck’s shirt.
When she asked Beck to kiss her in the first episode, it was BECK’S responsibility to say NO, because he was in a relationship. And let’s not forget Jade literally spilled COFFEE on Tori in front of the whole class!! Hell, if someone did that to me I’d do MORE than just kiss their boyfriend. Id be FUMING, as anyone else would if this was real.
For those of you saying Tori was a horrible person to Jade, let me summarize a few key events that some people seem to forget.
• Tori refused to kiss Beck EVEN after he ended things with Jade. Why? Because even though she liked him, she couldn’t do that to a friend. Before this, Jade literally STOLE her role at the Platinum Music Awards. And she still had the decency to be loyal to Jade even after this happened.
• Tori found a woman who would willfully pay for Jade’s play, even after she was nasty to her in the first scene. When the woman wanted to change things in her play, Tori even helped arrange it in the end so Jade could still have it the way she wanted.
• After Jade faked the whole “bloody eye” thing, Tori STILL took the blame for Jade so she wouldn’t get in trouble. I sure as hell know I wouldn’t be that nice to someone who tried to ruin my reputation in front of my whole school.
• When Tori and her friends all got sent to prison during their trip to Yerba, Jade wouldn’t stop intimidating a strong prisoner. She shoved Jade to the ground and if Tori didn’t step in and stop the fight, Jade probably would’ve gotten beaten up for that. And then she STILL had the audacity to say she didn’t need Tori’s help. Like... what?
Keep in mind, these are only a FEW highlights of her kindness towards Jade, despite her literally being a ruthless bully. Don’t get me wrong, I know Tori wasn’t the perfect character. But literally ALL of the characters have done at least ONE wrongdoing in the show, so bashing Tori for some of the things she did in the show is just unfair and really shows what kind of a person you are. I’m done here.
The only thing likeable about Jade, is her fashion sense.

Toris character was written badly though but it’s not Victoria’s fault at all she just acted the way they wrote it. Victoria can sing well it’s just she doesn’t have a wide range and the staff knows it that’s why they prepared songs which are compatible with her range. The songs were written so she doesn’t have to sing in a higher range and strain her voice.
Cus she does suck. Her character just wasn’t written well but I felt jades was hilarious and very well written.

People don’t understand how voices work. There is a good reason Tori was the star of the show and not Cat or Jade. If you studied music or have been in Choir you’d understand that Tori’s voice is superior to both Cat’s and Jade’s voice ranges. I wouldn’t bother paying attention to any comments on here. I’m pretty sure they don’t know a thing or two about singing. They probably read some things on the internet or just think just because Cat’s voice can go high and Jade’s voice is great in the low...that they’re better singers. Just ignore them.

The main reason as to why it's centered on Tori is because she's the main character. The main character is typically set to be a terrific influence on how to deal with real life scenarios, whether it involves jealousy, rivalry, empathy, etc. Instead of acknowledging the obstacles she's overcome, people take the time to despise every bone in her body.
Let’s be honest each and every single character in that show had done some terrible things. But y’all hate Victoria justice and that’s what made y’all hate tori.
