I made a few forks, but great tip on starting tines as one piece.
I like the tip about drawing out hte tines as one unit. I can never seem to get them the same when I draw them out separately.
Interesting to watch even if you're not into blacksmithing.

I love these videos. Very useful tools. I’ve never seen a steel brush like the one you have in this video, it’s quite big. Is there a special name for them and where did you get yours from?

This may seem like a strange question, but do you switch arms when you are hammering? I was wondering if the constant use of your right arm might cause issues down the road as muscles would be stronger on your right side compared to your left side.
I don't but I know some who are ambidextrous enough to manage.
I’m just curious, what is it with the Fontanini anvils that a holdfast can’t be used in the pritchel hole?
Too tall at the hole. A holdfast needs to jam in the hole and taller holes prevent that.
@@BlackBearForgeII I understand. I too have an anvil with a tall pritchel hole. I made a hold fast out of rebar which does not protrude out of the bottom of the pritchel hole and it works excellently.
Do ever make smaller knife forks and spoons and if you do how much would you charge
