      Ffs, everyone else's fault but Klopp's. Klopp persists in the defensive set up that's failing, in playing players out of position, in persisting with people who can't score, in having no plan B and having no clue how to change a game that's getting away from him.

    Our recruitment ever since Edwards originally left has been crap. Our tactical gameplan ever since 2020 has been crap.
    Just look at our signings strike rate since Edwards resigned as DoF:
    * Nunez - hasn't hit the mark
    * Diaz - hasn't hit the mark
    * Gakpo - hasn't hit the mark
    * Szobo - completely vanished in 2024
    * Endo - admirable effort but not good enough
    * Gravenberch - hasn't hit the mark
    MacAllister is our only recent recruitment success story if you look at it in the cold light of day.
    And as for our style and gameplan, the Klopp's heavy metal act disappeared stage left a long time ago. Our press is rubbish, we pass the passing's sake, and our defenders stand off everyone.
    So why are even so fatigued and injured all the time?
    I'm fed up with it.

    The injuries have caught up on us. We have a mixture of players who have played too many games, players who are not match fit and players who have not got into a rhythm. All season we’ve had someone who has stepped up to deliver the moments, in most recent times it was supposed to be Jota, but his injuries have killed us.
    We’re in a horrible period where we do all the hard work, create the chances for the forward line to fluff it. That’s disheartening for everyone, and bit by bit, doubt creeps in.

    We've looked fucking exhausted since coming back from the international break which was the opposite of what I expected.
    I always pushed back on the idea that our late wins were lucky because they weren't, klopp has said all season part of our plan is to be able to outwork the opponent so they can't match our legs across 90 minutes and we've looked so much better in so many second halves this season and particularly in the last half hour of games where you can see that plan working.
    But even if those wins weren't down to luck the amount of effort we've had to put into so many of them was just unsustainable for a title challenge, especially with the injuries we've had. Arsenal and City have had so many games this season that they can just take their foot off the gas because they score early, for us it was the complete opposite.

  • @studioneo986
    @studioneo986 Před 23 dny +11

    Top 4 and a trophy at the start of the season would have been absolutely fine and we have nearly achieved that.
    We got ourselves into a position of competing for the title but have fell short. Players out of form during a vital period and not enough goals being scored from us.
    We have conceded goals since the start of the season but we always found a way to turn the game around and win it. Nothing has changed in this regard apart from not being able to score goals ourselves.
    Klopp looks tired and counting down the days. Players look tired too. Let’s see how many wins we can get from our 4 remaining games.
    Summer will be interesting. New manager and the possibility of selling Salah. Nunez can go too!
    I also hope the new manager plays Trent in midfield next season.

    Truth is missed chances by our frontline have converted into poor results which ultimately have caused the team to lose the belief in getting the necessary results. Basically, due to a number of reasons, our frontline have failed us when it mattered most, just look at where have the goals come from lately when we’ve won games. Had Jota stayed fit in the last couple of months we’d likely still be in them 3 competitions, unfortunately it’s not been the case.

    I think Klopp's style of being the fitter and harder working team on the field is unsustainable if you want to go for 90 points every season. The players' legs have fallen off and with tired legs come bad passing, bad finishing and endless injuries, and that's what we're seeing. We don't have a midfield with runners like Milly, Gini, Hendo and Lallana anymore. You can't sign skillful and creative players like Mac and Szobo and expect the same, they're not built for it and i bet they don't want to be running around all game, they are ballers. We should've changed up to a quicker passing side, make the other team run around and chase us with the players we signed or should have signed players whose game relies on their legs

    Klopp had been found out. He does not know how to manage and rotate his squad. He runs his squad ragged, which is why they falter at the end of seasons or lose so many finals. He only uses players like Bagetich, Bradley, Quanseh, when his hand his forced. Injuring them in the process, too.
    It's not 'genius' It's cos he has no other choice

    Game could have gone either way, Liverpool had 5 chances. Weren’t particularly creative though. Mac Allister needed to be forward. Why? My gut says that Konate + Endo do not play well together. Konate had to start, high pressure game. Can’t let an already fragile (although more talented ) Quansah make another mistake especially in this game. Feels bad.

    A lot needs to change, we can’t keep sleep walking into games and using 100% energy to win last minute, we’re seeing now it’s not sustainable.
    Salah should go because we need the money.
    We need to look at Konate because his fitness is a huge problem. A settled defence winds tittles, you can’t chop and change every week.
    Keep him around but he can’t be first choice.
    Whoever the new coach is needs to be defensively sound, look at Arsenal and City, they hardly ever go behind in games.
    Nunez has one more season for me, but I wouldn’t her upset if he went.

    People are doing to us what we would love everyone to do against city. Thats not an excuse but there are glimpses that this will come to be how city get toppled if others realise this. We are not as confident as city at the back we dont carry the ball well at the back. Some of our players havent shown the consistency that citys backs have shown. Im not sure why they appear on their best to equal any of city players… just not as often. Maybe thats it. Weve lost winning muscle memory that guys like Fab and Ginny and Mane and Millie and Hendo provided in their heyday.
