les digo...tengo una remedy 9.8 2016 y una fatboy pro 2015 y no vuelvo nunca a comprar otra bici que no sea una fat..monto en trochas secas tropicales como la del video y hago mucha subida tecnica sobre rocas raices tierra suelta etc al igual bajando a toda maquina y una vez que me adapte en un par de dias a pedalear en la fat boy el rendimiento ha sido increible. cuesta un poco mas de esfuerzo los tres primeros pedalazos para ponerla a andar pero una vez que estas rodando es imparable y la adrenalina y diversión se multiplican por mil.
If you whiner's want to go fast get a road bike. If want to be unable to stop smiling get a Fatboy. I bought my Fatboy SE in January and have been in the snow all winter! AWESOME!

As a long time Roadie I totally agree with you.
My mostly modded Mongoose Malus can go ANYWHERE & I keep up with better MTB riders as it's more Forgiving in Technical trails.
I can't even imagine how nice a super quality FATTIE like this would be.
(I have two $5k roadbikes so I kinda know it'd be equivalent to how awesome they are vs generic road bike)

I test rode this bike and made a video on my CZcams channel. The bike climbs amazingly well, and it can eat a rooty trail up. I don't think it's worth $2000, but I could see when there would be times when the fat tires would be useful. If only we develop mountain bikes with variable tires (kind of like Humvees in the Army).

Ya light Carbon FATTIES are 26#. My heavy, entry level Mongoose Malus was (choke) 43#. Great Calorie Burner, lol.
Now with most parts lightened it's still 35#.
But the whole purpose is to Roll Over any Terrain with Authority - and an extra few# makes no negative difference.
Only if I climbed up mountains daily would I really care to swap to a Carbon FAT Bike.
Even a suspension fork is to me, kinda pointless for most trails as the 26x4 tires @ 12-18 psi are SO complaint.
Ya gotta try a FATTIE there is nothing else like it. I still have my normal 29er MTB but seldom use it.
Best off road experience bar none....
