That’s my yellow 95 M3 lol. I ended up on Jay Leno’s garage lol. Bucket list!

@@JoshY01 it isn't. it is an e36.
Lol loved that!
I just love David’s laugh. 30+ Ferrari’s and I’d be giggling too
If i had that kinda money tho, id have to branch out. Why limit yourself to one brand? Jay has the right idea. Granted, i doubt David is even in the same ballpark as Jay financially.
@@John_Redcorn_ Having limits to a collection makes it bettter, concentrates it more, and allows you to go deeper. This applies to any collection including cars, but also stamps, coins, whatever.
@@John_Redcorn_ yeah some of jays cars are worth millions

I love how jay gets just as excited about new cars as he does old cars. True car guy.
It's great that there's a David Lee that drives his cars and shares the experience. Thanks for sharing.
Big shout to David Lee...nice one for sharing your cars with us....peace to ya.
Thank You Mr. Leno for full commitment in keeping this show regular and in great quality 🤝
You know it's fast when Jay can't contain his grin. Just imagine trying to drive this *legally* on the street. You can't get on it longer than 2 seconds without breaking all the laws.
Its always a good episode when these two are in front of the camera.
Nothing like a car guy that lets other people drive and experience their cool cars. 😎
David is a genuinely nice guy.
Nothing like a car that drives itself.
@@marvindebot3264 nothing like a Tesla
You should check out the video where he lets Chris Harris drive the hell out of his F40 and F50 if you haven't seen it...
He’s letting Leno drive his car and getting free ad time for himself, brand ans business. It’s not like he’s letting some cancer kid with a dream of driving a Ferrari get behind the wheel.
A truly hilarious man. In the last 10 seconds of the video Jay still hit him with a joke about not wearing socks.
😂🤣
Thanks for the spoiler
@@Fluterra Wait you read the comments on the video, before you watch it?
First thing i looked for when David entered the room was his feet 😂
Never wear socks myself, absolutely hate them. Will only wear them if wearing formal clothes or if it's freezing cold outside.......otherwise nope, not gonna wear them.
Kids these days. I remember jumping in this old jag 4 door, dead for years, at my family's VW repair shop, "Perry's"? in West Seattle. I was like 8 years old. The smell of an old car that has been sitting for 20 years. I'll never forget the smell. Leather seat, and what I remember most was the tables that folded down from the front seats, like an airliner. Reminded me of jumping in an abandoned car on one of the many farms I grew up on. I had a memorable childhood, for sure.
Proper childhood! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I love Jay's videos and reviews because he's so natural when he talks about vehicles because of his knowledge, he's like a walking automotive encyclopedia and his research which is thorough. Fun stuff these videos.
How can you not love Jay's passion and knowledge a true car guy!
$500K is a huge price for most of us but compared to $1.8 million it could bring in a few more customers.
Yeah but this car does not look like a 500-600K car. More like 300K. It doesn’t look remotely as good as a LaFerrari or P1 or even a 765LT.

Love and light bro. Best wishes.
I love the chemistry between these amazing gentlemen. They're just so kind and humble, like they honestly know they're so blessed to be in this position to be driving all these cars and even collect them like we would collect comics. They've worked hard for it I'm sure but you also need that bit of luck to be truly successful and take off. Yet they remain humble and really want to share their good fortune by sharing these stories with us normal folk without rubbing it in like some other celebrities would.
Jay Leno geeking out over a car never gets old
It looks straight out of GTA5. Not a fan of the racing stripe but what ever I'll never own one let alone see one in real life. Your the man Jay. Thanks for sharing.
04:06 “Atomic Insect 🐞 Look” 😂🤣😅
Big f you to pagani.
The thing that I love most isn’t just his knowledge and passion but the fact that he isn’t trying to make this a commercial. He isn’t hauling these machines out to a gorgeous, exotic location to drive around and get cinematic shots of him going 65 around a curve on a restricted canyon road. He’s driving around residential zones and down a generic California highway like anybody else would and is letting the car be the star of the show because he knows it can carry the weight without all the fluffy assists. I just noticed it particularly around the 23:30 mark when you catch some debris in the turning lane as he drives by. Just the realness of his approach is refreshing in a world where people think they need to airbrush photos of their newborn before it’s ready to post 🤦🏻♂️
David Lee is a good guy. Very humble and genuine.
Ah so.
Well, I just pre-ordered mine...a 1/24 scale diecast model by Bburago!
Did you finance it? 😆
@@lbedwin25 Nope. It's just $20 plus shipping.
David Lee is an absolute legend for bringing these all in and letting Jay actually drive them so we can experience something we will never own, and in this case, possibly never even see!
No kidding I actually saw one and didn’t even know what it was at first it’s so rare. Definitely a technology feat and a memorable moment.
Speak for yourself buddy! You should never speak those things over yourself because as a man thinks so he is!
@@thrivalmode4523 Well said.

The guy certainly has some nice cars, but, man, he sure is a boring and poor choice to represent the brand informatively. He doesn't seem to know much beyond the spec sheet. "Just wait until you drive it, Jay" is basically all he has to add.
These high=performance cars are really engineering marvels. It's one thing to build an incredible performance car and design and build an engine with insane power, but what really amazes me is something that gets overlooked or it's not even known about by most people. And that's the fact that all these car companies that make high-performance cars, from Ford to Ferrari, have to design, engineer, and build all this performance into their cars while complying with super ultra-strict, even oppressive, and sometimes just plain ridiculous safety and emissions laws.
One example I always remember is GM and the LS7. GM originally planned to carry over the LS7 from the C6 Zo6s and use it in the C7 with a significant power increase, 600+ bhp, using the same displacement and remaining NA.
But that year the EPA and CAFE came out with new emissions and fuel consumption regulations. When GM engineers built a test engine with the power they were happy with, they couldn't get it to meet the new EPA and CAFE requirements. They tested over and over with the same results. They eventually realized that they would have to make significant design changes to the LS7 in order for it to meet the new regulations. Ultimately, GM determined they would have to make such severe modifications to the LS7 that it would basically be an entirely new motor.
Manufacturing a new motor design meant GM would have to spend tens of millions of dollars to re-tool the factory that manufactured the LS7. GM finally decided to go forced induction with the 6.2 L and the LT4 was born.
Still not as strict as racing rules and regulations.
Most other Ferrari enthusiasts would spend ten minutes rattling off the car's track credentials, then when Jay asks if he can take it for a spin, their eyes go wide with horror - "you mean you want to DRIVE it? Are you out of your mind? That would put miles on the odometer and cost me MONEY!!" David Lee has always been very cool about sharing his collection.
Well I’m sure Enzo Ferrari made cars to be driven and enjoyed.
They aren’t ferrari enthusiasts they are investment enthusiasts. Real ferrari DRIVERS are a whole nuther thing...
@@Rosso456MGT My favorite Leno joke about Ferrari and Porsche owners; Leno says "Porsche drivers brag about how MANY miles are on their vehicles, Ferrari drivers brag about how FEW miles are on their vehicles. To the Ferrari drivers he says, "Oh really? Is your wife a virgin too?"

9:30 lol Leno taking shots at Lamborghini for the Aventador being a V12 with a single clutch transmission
im glad someone actually closed that frunk all the way before Jay did his test drive
Wow, cool. Jay hasn't reviewed a lot of modern Ferraris due to the super elite culture the company tends to propagate (which he absolutely hates). You know the attitude, "just because you can afford a Ferrari doesn't mean you deserve to have one". I think Leno is actually more impressed with the 'ownibility' of the new SF90 with the lower price structure and yet higher performance marketing strategy than he is with the new technology.
Jay “I like to sneak the F1 in there” Leno
If I had an F1 that's the only words I would ever say

Understandable, the F1 is still a remarkable car.

@@utopianfurbiscuit I agree. Also, DeMuro always sounds too damn smug, like he's saying "haha, look at me with the expensive car, you pathetic peons". Leno is much more down to earth.

Jay is a car sommelier. He is so knowledgeable about cars and their evolution. I love his show.
I just like this tandem of Jay Leno and David Lee. Both are unselfish and hilarious. Two true gearhead heroes of the gearheads. Perhaps they both need to start a new show together. Now that would be really something worth watching, isn't it?

Jays view of kids nowadays has more to do with the parents. My kids sure aren't like that. We saw an old Mercedes SL in a parking lot, were checking it out, the owner walked up to us, showed us around the car, asked my kids if they wanted to sit in it, my kids whipped their heads around to me and I nodded yes before they could ask.
I like that guy. Why not let the kids sit in your cool car if you're lucky enough and worked hard enough to afford them. Kids will remember that forever and when it's their turn to own cool cars they will let the next generation sit in theirs.
@@MaximusMerideus yes and the world turns and we crate positive beautiful experiences with amazing machines designed and created by many humans. I feel like this for certain Jaguars and Vipers. Jay talking about the kid not wanting to sit in the car. You know it very well the parents tell them not to because they are afraid it might get damaged and they'd get sued into oblivion or something nowadays. I sure as heck know if Jay asked if I wanted to sit in any of his cars I'd be in it before he finishes the sentence.
@studio bauhaus, I call that responsible parenting. Last thing I want is some kid touching my million dollar car. It doesn't seem like it's the parents, though (in Jay's case, that is). Usually, if a kid was told not to do something, but someone offered, they'd ask the parent if they could. It didn't sound like that kid asked his dad, though.
I remember sitting in a split window at the 1963 Victoria Auto show AND the Chrysler Turbine car ! I never forgot. Then I got stuck in a Fiat 850. LOL

The thing that I like about Jay is his passion is driven by (pardon the pun there) his pure love of cars; the design, the production, the craftsmanship, the design, so on and so forth. This quality differentiates Jay/Harry's Garage with Doug, or most automobile youtuber, as the former doesn't use cars to compensate for their insecurities.

Typical Ferrari owner: It's cheaper... Half what I would pay!

Your comment made me think about something I had read about British Airways and the Concord. Knowning most travellers were successfull businessmen who had assistants buy their tickets, the airlines was doing a quick contest in flight, in which they asked passengers to guess the price they paid for their ticket. Realizing from the answers that most passengers tought their ticket was way pricier than the truth, they concluded they could increase the price substantially, which they did.
@@maison33253 They made more money in the last two years of flying the Concord because they lowered ticket prices to business class levels. I forget the exact percentages but capacity filled went from around 45% to 70%. It’s the old adage of selling a lot for a little or a little for a lot.
