      Hey MikeInKing, sure, I'll try to track down that information. I know Lenovo doesn't provide a whole bunch of information about parts or QVL, etc., but I'll see what I can pull from their support team.

    I got this one as well. Diff processor tho. Couple of things tho
    1) The Cables tend be a bit loose, so check them once before powering it on the first time. In my case the Power supply to the motherboard & the Front panel cable on the motherboard end was loose. So I had to push them back on. Other wise like in the video the cable management is spot on. No wild cables running about.
    2) On first boot, Win11 wont recognize the wifi card and its a hard stop for the setup. Fortunately I had a USB wifi stick which 11 recognized that I used for continuing the setup. In case you dont have one handy you are stuck with using a RJ45 ETH cable to your router. This seems like an oversight..
    However once the machines up and running, its runs like a dream.

    • @DemCrumblies
      @DemCrumblies  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Once you update the BIOS after going to support.lenovo.com/ and apply the BIOS, it should change to 5600 mhz in task manager. If you still don't see it at 5600 mhz after the BIOS update, boot into the BIOS after the update and change the memory profile to the 2nd profile and it should kick in at full speed. @@Pete-zi9pi

Might ping you if I get stuck since I'm totally clueless about Fusion. Do you have an Instagram profile or something where we can message if I need to get your help? Could you please look into cpu/vrm thermals?
    Those are two important things pc reviewers usually forget

    • @DemCrumblies
      @DemCrumblies  Před rokem

      Hey A Potato, I'll definitely cover the CPU thermals under load. I'm not too familiar with testing VRM thermals and from what I've found online, the motherboard should have a specific sensor for this, but in HWiNFO64, I'm not seeing this sensor. There is a VR VCC Temperature (SVID) under 13900KF CPU though showing a 46 Celcius temp while idle.

    Thanks!

    • @DemCrumblies
      @DemCrumblies  Před rokem +1

      Hey A. Cast, yep, you're on the ball with that one. It runs at 4400 mhz even though the stick is an actual 5600 mhz stick. No settings in the BIOS either to change ram speed. The full review will be ready a couple of hours if you're interested in checking it out even with the lower 4400 mhz ram speed.

      Yea, the strange this is that the stick us 5600 mhz, but either the mobo is hardware limited or they disabled ram options in the bios, just strange.

    Got the max configuration of this one (4090/64gb/2tb etc). Died after 2 hours of work, even before tests. Probably power supply, but never got a response from Lenovo what it was, just got a replacement. Second one lives for a month now. Pay attention, 64gb config runs even slower (4000Mhz) even if all sticks are 5600. Not a Lenovo problem, imo. Issue is known for a long time with different manufacturers, according to forums. Also, I still can't identify, but probably there is a problem with CPU overheating or something. Sometimes PC may just shut down after couple of hours of high load and will turn on only after half hour. Probably will not be a problem in colder countries, but we have +35C in April xD

    • @DemCrumblies
      @DemCrumblies  Před rokem

      Hey Shmuelik, sorry to hear your first one died, but yea their customer support is generally good. Glad your new PC is mostly stable. If you got the 4090, I think that PSU is 1200 W right? Shouldn't shut down due to power issues. Maybe you'll have to run hwmonitor to see if you're nearing max temps before the shutoff. Does it shut off when playing certain games or certain activities? I know if you max out the sticks, it'll run lower, but they should have XMP as an option like most higher end mobos. Btw what does your cpu temp look like at idle? If it's higher than mine at idle, it could mean that thermal paste isn't enough or applied properly or proper contact with heat sink isn't being made maybe.

    • @ShockfactorCA
      @ShockfactorCA Před rokem

      I can confirm they are running that config at 4000 MHz. That to me is a bit of false advertising since you can’t boost it. I just received my 4090/2tb/64 gb computer. I suspect you might have a faulty cooler. I know someone who had it partially working on their MSI computer and after while it shut down. He replaced the cooler and it was all fixed. Just a thought. To be fair I haven’t run it hard yet. But on idle all cores are 30 C or under.

    Please give us an update on this! I'm interested in buying, but some of the reviews on the Lenovo website are a bit unnerving.

    • @DemCrumblies
      @DemCrumblies  Před rokem

      Hey Keanite! I did the full review here: czcams.com/video/LWwMAuRki-g/video.html The only negative really is that the RAM speed only runs at 4400 Mhz instead of 5600 Mhz. The actual RAM stick is a 5600 Mhz stick from Samsung, but it refuses to run at 5600 Mhz and there are no BIOS options to make a change. I also tried inserting only one stick and it still ran at 5600 Mhz. I didn't notice any problems though with 4K gaming, rendering, benchmarking, etc. It's just annoying knowing that the Lenovo site says 5600 Mhz and you can't get that. I still have the computer, but debating on whether I will keep it or not. On one hand, it performs without issues, but on the other hand, it just bothers me knowing that any RAM stick I buy and put in will be capped to 4400 Mhz.
